I do not know how I would manage without the daily help of the Penna staff. Although they mainly care for and help my husband they are also caring, very helpful, and friendly with me.
My husband has poor hearing but they are all friendly and patient with him. He has dementia and also poor mobility.

I am pleased with the service provided, the personnel are very kind, you are treated with respect at all times.
A visit by them means you can have a talk during each day, they check on any thing you wish for them to do.

There have been many times when I could not be with my mother, but Penna Homecare Ltd has always found time to listen and adapt their agenda, sometimes at very short notice, and have never failed to step in, even in very difficult circumstances. I could not be more grateful. In addition, whenever we
have met the staff, they have always been cheerful, helpful and they deal with sensitive issues with professionalism and care. Recently my mother has had a series of hospital appointments; some of which have been changed on a daily basis but it has never been too much trouble for Penna Homecare Ltd to step in, adapt and be proactive in every case. The staff enable my mother to remain independent and improve her quality of life at every opportunity. Penna Homecare Ltd, not only cares for my mother but the whole family by relieving us of many worries and concerns we have, and by being so reliable. I am extremely grateful and consider myself so fortunate to have found such outstanding care.

Penna home care have been caring for my dad for the last six years or so. They have been professional, thoughtful caring and considerate to both my dad and my mum. They have never let us down, even through difficult circumstances including Covid and bad weather. Would definitely recommend it.

l wish to highly praise the Management and staff of Penna Homecare.l live in Jersey and therefore l am unable to be with my mum on a daily basis. My mum is diagnosed with dementia. l have received excellent support in the communication with the manager and the subsequent actions undertaken for my mum;
both for particular unexpected needs as well as her day to daycare. On my visits to my mum l have observed the kindness and thorough care that her daily carers give her. l know she has received consistent attention and has established friendly relationships with them. She was given personal care, weekly shopping, prescriptions collected and her daily meals prepared.
The management and staff have always gone above and beyond in their care, concern and service for my mum.

Penna Homecare stepped in to look after my aunt so she could be discharged from hospital. Care needs were unusual and needed extra training to manage but nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Always willing to help out and change routines as care needs change. Would definitely recommend Penna
to anyone looking for care for a relative or friend.

Penna Homecare first provided a care service for my mother, now 93, in late autumn 2019 when she was discharged from hospital after a urinary tract infection, which had played havoc with her memory. The after-care that I had been assured would be provided immediately on her return to her home in Gloucestershire
didn't happen, and so I had a mad rush on to try and arrange that help. Penna stepped into the breach immediately, initially providing overnight stays and other visits and taking a load off my mind (I live and work in London).


Since then, its staff have been on a rota of three visits a day and have kept this going despite the chaos caused by the pandemic, providing my mother with both help and company. I have met a lot of them and cannot speak highly enough of the service, which has made difficult times much easier to get through and given me peace of mind.

Penna Homecare Ltd looked after my mum. They were excellent, very friendly and very caring my mum looked forward to their visits. Mum was treated with dignity. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them, they would always keep us up to date on mum's care and if there needed to be any changes. As a family
it was nice knowing that mum had such lovely people looking after her, I never felt the need to worry as I always knew she was going to be looked after. The ladies that came to visit mum were all so lovely with her. They were also very helpful to my dad they would always find time to have a chat with him, which he appreciated. I would definitely use Penna again if I ever needed a carer again.

Penna have been caring for my Mum with daily visits for the last seven and a half years.
In all that time the standard of care has been second to none; the staff are very friendly,

"They never let me down, I'm very well looked after"
These two compliments from my mother, aged 103, speak volumes, thanks to the outstanding care for a number of years, by Penna Homecare. As my family lives a two-hour drive away, Penna Homecare Ltd gives us great peace of mind, providing a high standard
of personal care to ensure Mum's daily safety and comfort in her own home.
A carer arrives promptly at each call with a cheerful greeting. The carers remain professional and nothing is too much trouble. Snowy weather saw them walking or sharing 4x4s and there are many times when they have gone above and beyond. During the lockdown, regulations were followed in detail, and thankfully both carers and Mum were free from the virus. Mum enjoys seeing a familiar face and the carers enjoy her positive attitude, her smile and sense of humour. That is a recommendation in itself.
Penna puts the needs of the client first and we are very fortunate to be supported by such a committed and dedicated team.

Penna Homecare was recommended to us post-hospital stay for my Grandad, we made contact with them and they soon arranged all the right processes to set up regular support calls, they were highly professional and helpful. The team adapted to our changing needs offering the right support at the right
time as needs changed.


The staff - or as my Nan affectionately called them ‘the girls’ - were well trained, always on time and reliable, highly professional and went above and beyond to ensure they were kind, compassionate and person-centred. The level of care provided was second to none.
The staff supported us through end of life support for my Grandad, communicating effectively with professionals from the local GP service and district nursing team. Thanks to Penna his personal care, dignity and comfort were held in high regard easing our family's anguish at such a sad time.


Thank you all for doing such an amazing job, you are all fantastic.

Penna Homecare LTD provided care to my terminally ill father in 2021. Penna Homecare attended my father's home and were always immaculately dressed, wearing full PPE and always abiding by the strict care protocols during 2021. The care my father received was beyond brilliant and I will always be eternally
grateful for the help, support and love that was received from every member of the Penna team. My father was provided with physical care but Penna quickly recognised the emotional support that was needed for my father and our family. They worked empathetically with the family to provide the best quality of life and put measures in place efficiently without disturbance. Penna Homecare epitomises the word care and they truly are angels I will be forever grateful for the love, support and memories that they enabled us to share in my father's end of life care. I would highly recommend this company to anyone without hesitation.

My mother had to go into a residential home in October 2021 after an increasingly difficult eight months. She had been happily cared for by Penna Homecare for a long time before this occurred. The staff were understanding of her rapidly changing needs, and very supportive, especially as my sister lives
a long way away and I am disabled, so neither could respond to emergencies. Their care did not waver despite the great difficulties that the pandemic was putting them under at this time. We are very thankful for their professional, warm care of a very vulnerable lady.

Penna Care provided daily care for my husband from April 2020 until his death in October 2021. I am a registered nurse so expected a high standard of care and could never fault the care he received. They were considerate to both my husband and me and treated him with humour and dignity. They were always
reliable and arranged times to suit us. I would recommend Penna Care without hesitation.

My Dad and I are so grateful to Penna Homecare for all their support, which enables Dad to stay in his own home. He has Alzheimers and struggles to go out at all now. He really looks forward to Penna Homecare coming in and making him smile. The staff are lovely and make him feel safe and supported,
they have never let us down and have provided extra cover when needed. We were very lucky that our friends recommended Penna to us, they are very professional and have been invaluable over the past 3 years. Thank you to all the lovely Penna staff, I don't know how we would cope without you.

They have enabled him to remain in his home and to be independent with their help.
The team are professional, caring and most importantly kind.
During COVID they have never let him down and communicated any and all changes with him.

Penna looks after my elderly relative who is housebound and struggles to get around the home unaided. They care so much, engaging her with conversations and making her happier. They are always timely, professional and offer a high standard of care. Without their assistance, she would not be able to

My parents in law are elderly and infirm; all of us in the family live far away - the nearest is a hundred miles away and their safety and welfare is of great concern to us and we worried about them all the time. It was such a relief to come across Penna Homecare. Everyone from the agency is unfailingly
helpful, cheerful, and kind, and they treat them with courtesy, gentleness and dignity. Recently my mother in law was hospitalised with a stroke, and Penna immediately put in place evening and then night visits for my father in law, and once when he fell, a carer came out, called an ambulance and stayed with him to make sure he was fine. I cannot speak highly enough of Penna Homecare and I would recommend them to anyone looking for care for themselves or for anyone they love.
