Since using this service I fine my life has improved. I have a good rapport with all the carers and find they help me and make me feel happy when they come. Thye all have a good attitude and know when I'm not feeling happy but they soon cure that and make me laugh and feel comfortable.

We have not used the service for long and have 2 one hour visits a week at the moment. I am happy with the standard of care and its reliability. Mum is happy with her visits and I like how it is usually the same person. I feel secure knowing that in the future we will need to increase the care.

The respect and care that is offered by the carers is second to none. They will also take the time to make sure my father is well and coping ok. After a lengthy stay in hospital last year Mum doesn't like being touched and will call out as if she is in pain. When she does this the carers tending to
her will talk to her to calm her down with such patience and compassion. Nothing is too much trouble for Bluebird and they are always on hand if we have any worries or concerns regarding Mum. We think of the team as family. Without Bluebirds, mum wouldn't be where she is now. They really are unsung heroes.

All the carers and support staff in the office were extremely helpful, approachable, and responsive to my father's needs and those of the immediate family. The patience, good humour and attention to detail supported us through some difficult weeks. We can not thank Bluebird enough or praise their all-round
professionalism and support highly enough. My father or his family could not have managed without this and we will be extremely grateful.

Bluebird has been an all-round excellent care provider. Staff are friendly, caring and treat my parents with respect and dignity, and often go above and beyond their remit. They have an app that I can access to check my parents' wellbeing and visits. The office staff are always professional, helpful
and available. There is also an 'out of hours' service. Care staff are always smart in their uniforms and well equipped.

Bluebird has been looking after mum since she was discharged from her last hospital admission in November 2019.


From the moment of her initial assessment then and through to now, the professionalism of the team and its leaders has been obvious. More importantly the TLC and 'willingness to go the

extra mile' she has received is of a much higher standard than she received prior to her hospital stay.


Unfortunately, mum's condition has deteriorated over the last 5 months and she now needs to be cared for in bed most of the time and from the first moment this occurred in January and then again in March Bluebird have constantly been in touch with us and other members of the family (all out of the area) to investigate and deliver solutions for mum. Their dialogue with GPs, Paramedics, Nurses and even Pharmacists has all been exceptionally helpful.


It's the 'little things' that matter most to mum though - so playing her answerphone messages daily and cooking her an 'all-day breakfast' are just so special!

All the girls are excellent and very friendly. I would like the same ones regularly - particularly one on a Thursday as she helps me shower. She knows where everything goes.

All the help I have received during the last 12 months has been extremely good. The only personal care I need is the creaming of my legs and feet with the prescribed cream. Otherwise, the girls clean the house for me, washing, kitchen, toilet and bathroom floors. All of which is well done. The vacuuming
is done well but most of them have to be reminded to empty the dirt container after use.

Having experienced support for my mum, auntie and uncle from three other care agencies, I can say from experience that Bluebird Newport are an extremely well organised and professionally run. The carers are excellent and the admin staff and management are both approachable and efficient. Not once have
I failed to get anyone to talk to either during business hours or 'out of office'.
