Helping Hands cared for my mum for 10 months last year. They were professional and efficient in their organisation, and the carers who came to the house really did care. They were kind and helpful, chatted to mum, and tried their best to do things in the way she wanted. They definitely went above and
beyond, and were lovely to deal with.
In her last couple of weeks they were very flexible with arrangements.

Everyone working at Helping Hands is professional, compassionate, caring and kind. They are always there to help and support us, even for unexpected and unplanned call-outs when mother is in need and often in distress. I cannot rate them highly enough. It is so reassuring to know they can be relied
on to assist. The carers have a personal yet professional attitude to their job and are friendly and positive in their approach to the tasks in hand. This is greatly appreciated. Their services are highly recommended.

My Uncle lives alone and having Helping Hands visit him daily is a big relief. His carers are very calm in all situations and knowing they are visiting and their response to various situations make me sleep better at night. Super responsive, helpful and unflappable.

Helping hands have been looking after my husband for about 2 years now. He has multiple needs including the inability to speak and is very immobile. They have been absolutely wonderful! My husband's carers are very kind and he really looks forward to seeing them and the office staff are super efficient
and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend this company.

I have always been pleased with the care and attention that my mother has received in your care. The carers are delightful and cheerful with my mum, simulating her with conversation. Her showers are always done with care, efficiency and with attention to modesty. It is lovely that she has the same carer(s)
to keep continuity.

Generally, the support and care my wife receives is of an excellent standard. Most carers have build up a good relationship and although she doesn't remember the names of the carers, there is immediate recognition when the carer arrives. All the carers do show a professional approach to support and
care for my wife and, if necessary, calm the situation. Overall, I have no issues.

The daily carers are lovely and look after my mother excellently. They do all that is required and will sit and have a chat with her if time allows. There are some issues when visit times are changed, and we are not informed. If we are arranging things around the rota, this is very inconvenient. This
is not the fault of the carers, but the admin/managers. I also find them expensive compared to other providers.

I have been very impressed by the service provided by Helping Hands. I have valued the professional approach, kindness and competence of all the carers who have visited me. A strength of the service has been to have a named, main carer. It was therefore possible for her to quickly become familiar with
my needs, likes and dislikes. She was always cheerful and I looked forward to her visits. I was, however, disappointed that she was allocated to another client on my last day and I was not informed of this change in advance by management. I'm now regaining my independence and am grateful for the care I've received.

I am really happy with the service giving just the amount of care and attention that a Parkinson's sufferer needs.

I find Helping Hands Home Care (Epsom) to be very caring, always available on the phone and the carers themselves very helpful and willing to help with anything.
Sometimes I get a different carer to the one expected, but sometimes people are sick and can't make it.

Once the care was put in place it is running well and efficiently. Carers are very nice and friendly, my dad speaks well of them all. They are tidy, clean, caring and meet all our requirements so far. The office staff listen to our needs and they are addressed. There is also good communication between
ourselves and carers on a weekly basis if we have concerns.

As a sufferer of multiple sclerosis for nearly twenty eights years, in order to keep my independence I have been forced to use care agencies over the last few years for help with everyday living. In my experience Helping Hands Home Care (Epsom) are the best agency that I have employed. The staff are
polite, friendly and with living on my own I look forward to my carers visiting.

My father suffers from dementia and lost my mum three years ago. Thanks to the continued support and assistance from Helping Hands Home Care (Epsom) he is able to live and cope alone in his flat. All the staff who have cared for my father have been very professional and friendly, Dad looks forward to
their visit, not just for his lunch but a bit of company and chat.
Whenever I’ve asked for extra help it has always been sorted promptly. I am particularly grateful to Dad's previous carer and Dad's regular carer now, who does a fantastic job.
I thoroughly recommend Helping Hands Home Care (Epsom).

Job Title: Branch Care Manager

About me

I have been the registered Branch Care Manager since February 2022. My core role and responsibilities are looking after a great bunch of lovely staff and customers, and I run the day-to-day activities by attending new care business meetings and listening to customers and staff. I work on building relationships with our customers, making regular and providing continuous contacts with our customers, as well as providing coaching and support to the branch staff and our great carers in the field. It's a great pleasure to support older people to remain and feel safe in their homes with the support of our fantastic carers, on a day-to-day basis.
I was inspired to join care because I have a real passion to make a difference in our community and use my knowledge effectively. Our services are tailored to meet our customer's needs and are constantly reviewed by a great team of experts. Our carers are also constantly trained and confident to deliver a great service.
In my spare time, I love tennis and I like exploring new cultures and countries.

Experience and expertise

I have been experienced in customer services for over 16 years. I worked as a care coordinator for 4 years and then as cabin crew for 4 years. I have travelled across 3 continents and discovered many countries and their cultures. I joined care in 2012 and my primary responsibility has always been to take care of staff, carers, and customers.
I also hold a degree in Business Administration and a higher Diploma in Management.

Why I chose Helping Hands

I joined Helping Hands because I was touched by the story of how the company was founded as a family concern and it made me choose to work for such a great company.
I love making a difference in our community, being compassionate, and feeling the love from my great team.
