Norvic have cared for my dear elderly Mother for many months now since she came home from hospital after breaking her hip. She also has Alzheimer's disease.
The carers are consistent and reliable in giving excellent personal care with kindness and respect three times a day. They have all been trained
to a high standard, are gentle and polite and are also concerned for my well being. They understand the roller coaster of emotions which comes with dementia and they aren't fazed by occasional outbursts.
I look forward to their visits which always come with sincerity and a smile. I can highly recommended Norvic for both the carers and the management. At long last I have had my faith in human nature restored. There are people out there who really do care. Well done Norvic!

Our daughter is living independently for the first time in her life and the level of support that Norvic Healthcare offer is outstanding.
Our daughter, who has learning difficulties, could not live independently without the support and care that Norvic Healthcare offer.
Due to her learning difficulty,
our daughter struggles with social boundaries, time management and anxiety. She will contact others numerous times about small issues. Norvic Healthcare manage this very well, easing her anxieties.
They have ensured that our daughter has the same carer every Saturday, thereby allowing a relationship to form and because of this particular carer's skill at working with adults with learning difficulties our daughter is getting so much more out of life than before.
We are very grateful Norvic Healthcare are involved with our daughter's care.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 5.000 for Norvic Healthcare is calculated as follows: ( (11 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 11 Ratings = 5

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Norvic Healthcare is based on 2 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 = 3.5

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
