Amicus Homecare provides a flexible range of home care services delivered by people who really care. From the office in Bath the care service covers Bath, Limpley-Stoke, Winsley, Bradford on Avon, Trowbridge, Chippenham and Box.

Staff are directly employed by the agency and receive full training and further ongoing support to ensure their caring skills are always up to date.

An Amicus Homecare package can be as short as 30 minutes or up to several hours. Two carers can be provided for complex care needs. Services include home care, companionship and home help.

Each person has different needs. Amicus Homecare’s small and friendly team takes time to get to know each client and their family in order to provide a genuinely individual person-centred service.

I am very satisfied with the service I am getting from my present carer who is always willing to do jobs around my flat and garage in addition to looking after me whilst in the shower.

Amicus Homecare Ltd provided an early morning service from 7.45am for half an hour or 1 hour by agreement, One member of their staff helped me get out of bed, wash and dress. When time allowed we would turn out my bedroom chests to remove items that were out of date and no longer used, making room for
items that fit better. The different staff members came working on their own. All were punctual and cheerful, giving a good start to the day. and it was good to chat about the weather and the state of the shops, the government when I was in lockdown.

The carers were very polite and very caring with my brother in law even though he was a bit of a grump. They all looked after him so well and couldn't do enough for him. They always made time to sit and chat to him too even though they had a tight schedule.

The client due to age and lack of upper body strength needs assistance with bathing which is beyond the wife's strength and there is a fear of slipping. All the carers have been prompt on arrival time and have been careful to follow lockdown regulations. They follow a careful bathing routine and follow
the client's wishes. Overhead charges are reasonable. Paperwork is filled in after each visit.

Staff always arrive, no matter what the weather is doing. Whenever there is a need for a phone call, they always start by saying "nothing to worry about " which is always reassuring. Always very friendly. Good at communicating,
