My dad was worried about having personal care for the first time, and the carers were great at making him feel comfortable. They listened and explained to Dad how best they could assist him with dignity and even laughed at his jokes, which he was particularly pleased about.

Very happy with the service provided to my husband. Staff are on time and know what they are doing. I am able to get on with things while they get my husband washed and dressed and give him his medication.

The Radfield Carers have been coming to our home for the past three months now. I am delighted with the help they have given both myself and my husband. The girls are always cheerful and chatty and nothing is too much trouble for them.

My mother began receiving a care service from Radfield earlier this year. She was very reluctant at first but the Manager/Director talked her round and explained how much she would benefit from regular visits.
Mum always talks positively about the carers and that nothing is too much trouble for them.
They leave me a note if anything needs buying and it’s a huge weight off my shoulders knowing that someone sees her every day.
I would recommend Radfield to anyone looking for a professional, well run care service. They have exceeded both me and my mum's expectations. Thank you.

I can’t thank Radfield Home Care enough. It was a breath of fresh air to have a professional team of trained, reliable, trustworthy and hard-working team on call. I have had bad experiences in the past but they surpassed my expectations, treating Mum with great care, respect and attention. It was an
impossibly difficult situation but with their help, it made things much more manageable. Thank you.

The home care team took over when my Aunt was discharged in a sad state from the hospital. They soon took over a regular visit schedule plus medication and also motivation, getting her moving around. They also suggested various aids that would help, how to go about obtaining them through Socials Services,
doctors, nurses. Her overall condition improved greatly and they gave excellent care and support. Sadly due to a power of attorney being granted to another person, the contract was terminated.

We find Radfield Home Care the best agency we have experienced for our mum. They are efficient, patient, kind and genuinely care about mum. Mum suffered a stroke and has speech difficulties and some mobility issues.
We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Radfield have been attending my elderly parents for the last six months. They both have dementia. They visit them twice a day in their own home. They feed them, take care of health issues including giving medicines, take them out of the house regularly and do some household chores. They are genuinely
caring and the arrangement is working really well and is much cheaper than care homes and a lot nicer for the clients. Thank you Radfield!

My daughter, who is a doctor, researched care support providers in our area and found Radfield Home Care. The Director visited us to consider my wife's situation and my daughter and I were very impressed with the thoroughness of his assessment. We accepted his proposal and initially received carer support
for 2 mornings per week but soon increased it to 4 to take over the "getting up, washing and dressing and even ensuring tablets are taken and breakfast is eaten". This respite for me is greatly appreciated and leaves me free to attend a local gym and other activities. We have now met 4 of the carers who are all extremely efficient and indeed caring in what can be difficult and I am sure, a frustrating job with patients who can be awkward thanks to their illnesses.
Therefore I have no hesitation in recommending Radfield Home Care.

We contacted Radfield Home Care to arrange a care package for my mother. Sadly the relationship was cut short when my mother passed away but in the short time that she received care from Radfield, she was more than happy with the service provided. Staff are friendly and caring and the administrative
arrangements were simple and efficient: the director was especially helpful. We would definitely recommend Radfield.

From the beginning of my mother-in-law's care, we have had wonderful service.
She has been difficult to persuade to accept care but the carers have all been lovely and she's used to them now.
The management take on board all my worries and concerns and advise accordingly to make sure she is safe.

Our father was reluctant to have 'carers' but from the outset, this agency were reassuring and gentle.
Relationships of mutual respect established.
The care that was given was always respectful and nothing was rushed, even if time became short in the visit.

We are very satisfied with all aspects of the care, from the initial discussions prior to Mum’s discharge from hospital to the high standard of communication throughout. It is not easy for a previously independent person to accept the need for some assistance but the carers have been great in every
way. Mum has been able to regain confidence and independence within her home and looks forward to the daily ‘pampering’.

He is grateful for all the care he receives and feels that sometimes he is rushed. He realises that there is a limited time but with his Parkinson's has no control over how he is in the mornings, but knows its not good to stay in bed. I would sometimes like a little more understanding but the care is
good.

We moved my grandmother's care to Radfield Home Care in the summer of 2018 and haven't looked back. The carers are kind, considerate and have time to care for my grandmother. No job is too big or too small and they take pride in everything they do. My grandmother loves the personal service with both
the carers and the back office (no call centres). She also loves that calls are made to update her should a carer be running late so she can plan her day. The regular carers assigned to my grandmother means she is building friendships and her home feels like a home - no more strangers in the house!

Radfield Home care team have made what was a very sudden and difficult transition for my parents, so much more palatable.
Being very private people, and the initial thought of strangers entering their home was very unsettling, but within a short space of time, they have settled into their new routine.
This is largely due to the kindness and patience of the carers, who understand the importance of maintaining as much independence as possible for their clients and always treating them with dignity and respect.

My career has been tremendously rewarding and inspired me to launch Radfield Home Care across Bexhill, Hastings & Battle.


The professional achievement I am most proud of is to have listened to people and prioritised their individual wishes when planning care. This approach is central to the way in which Radfield operates and ensures all our clients retain as much independence as possible.

What is your background prior to joining Radfield?
Over 30 years working in the care industry, starting in domiciliary care as a care assistant and working up to a Registered Manager. Working across different fields in Elderly care, dementia, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Hospital settings.


How has your background prepared you for your new role at RHC?
Working in the care sector as a health care assistant, senior and manager have prepared me to see care from all sides and have a good understanding of how each role works.


What has inspired you to want to be involved in the adult social care sector?
I have always enjoyed helping and supporting people who require care, to support them to remain independent and have the help and care that they require as they wish it to be.


How do you feel your role, and your experience, will benefit Radfield’s clients?
I hope my role and experience will give the clients confidence that their best interests are forefront of our care.
