Terrible inefficient company. No consistency on timescales for visiting times, unable to even properly see to the poor patient as in and out in 5 mins, absolute disgrace! Not the girls who are working for them, but the allocated times just do not meet the needs of a 92 year old Alzheimer's dementia
patient. Us as a family are no better off regarding having this help. We are still having to attend daily to tend to our mother as things required are not being carried out. Simple things like turning the tv on for her! We are at work all day and mum is still sat staring into space as no tv is put on for her in the morning. As for heating some food, do these carers know that a microwave heats food in 2 minutes? Luckily we have arrived when she has been served food that was cremated for 10 minutes and taken off her. We are no further forward here with any balance of reprieve from our normal abilities.

Our mum was discharged home from hospital for palliative care. This was only possible because of the 4x day carer visits to support us looking after mum for the eight days before she passed away. I am a qualified nurse and I really cannot give enough praise for the skill, patience and kindness shown
by the different carers from Ion Care and Support, some of whom visited each of the four visits for a couple of days in a row, letting them really get to know the family and provide consistent, high quality care; although they must have been very tired, it never showed! This was a very difficult time for us, but made a little easier by the support of our visiting carers. Thanks to them all.

The care provider came in to look after my grandmother's personal care and it was great to see how professional they were with my gran. Great all round.
