Love In Care has been awarded the Most Inclusive Service Provider In Leeds (2022-2023). Established in 2016 by Aqila Choudhry MBE as a result of personal experiences of gaps in culturally appropriate services for her mother and others in similar situations.

Love In Care is a Care Quality Commission Regulated Domiciliary Home Care Support Provider in Leeds with a rating of GOOD (July 2023).

They provide bespoke support in south Asian languages and culturally appropriate care to all customers.

Most of their workforce has lived experiences of loving care.

Love In Care are creating economic wealth and independence of women especially those from Asian communities thereby making a commitment as a business to invest in these employees' development to enable all to meet their regulatory requirements.   

Love in Care are committed in creating a secure, long-term employee base as they are settled for at least two generations, some wish to become settled through employee sponsorships.

Their team has been built on word-of-mouth referrals due to the leadership style of the founder and the experiences of their employees they have a culture of inclusivity with a team that has many languages spoken. From the very beginning when I met the manager at a dementia conference recently, I was most impressed by her approach to caring. As a result I put in place personal care for my dad, 93 with Alzheimer's, and Mum 91 who is very frail. We have been matched up with a caring, young Sikh woman who has a
lovely manner and understands their needs. Cultural familiarity, kindness and compassion are important in this role and I can honestly say, the manager fully understands the needs of her clients and does her best to provide a professional service.

I am 57 and normally fit, healthy and active. However I suffered an accident in Spain and broke both my legs. One leg was particularly badly broken and I was very happy to wake up from my first surgery with an external fixator frame fitted, rather than losing my foot. Following nearly a month in hospital
in first Spain, then Leeds, and no family support available, I have very limited mobility and Love In Care are now looking after me. I would very much like to say thank you so much for the professionalism of their carers, and the support, care and dignity they are providing for me. What a wonderful team, so helpful and dedicated. I could not manage without them.

The lady who visited me the most was always cheerful, polite, caring and professional. I was always pleased to see her. One night's visit was missed due to an admin error, otherwise satisfactory.

Thank you for the feedback, I am happy to hear that sending one regular worker made a difference to you and that you built a rapport with her. We had a digital error that evening and the visit had become unallocated. Once we realised this we apologised to you immediately. We learnt from this issue and carried out an exercise and do this regularly now ask our customers to ring on the telephone numbers we give them should a worker be late for 15 minutes without prior agreement. It is our policy, that if we know there is a delay in a visit we inform the customers in advance. We also introduced two more mandatory measures in place to stop this from happening again in our service, one was digital log-in alerts by the system and manual confirmation by staff that they have arrived at the customer's home. Regarding the support, it was non-contributory from yourself. We wish you the best for the future.

The wonderful girls at Love in Care looked after my aunt for the last 6 months of her life but particularly the last 3 weeks. Love In Care have supported our relative who has a brain injury and physical disability since July 2021. They offer a wonderful caring service to our loved one and to us as family carers. Management value our input and respect our relative’s and our views, making adjustments to the care when needed.
We have used care agencies to support our relative to live as independently as possible for 25 years and we have rarely experienced the kindness, dedication and honesty that Love In Care offer. Our relative is treated as an individual and they work with us to offer care specific to his disability. Management are excellent at communicating and available to discuss things if needed. They actually do what they say they will do which makes life as a family carer less stressful. Support staff are of a high standard and eager to learn about brain injury and are adaptable. Love In Care maintain a vital strong and consistent staff team who genuinely care about our relative as if he were their own.

Decent service ladies very approachable one lady was very caring and very helpful, the only negative point was the times in the evening as I appreciate different people have different needs, but when trying to gain my independence back coming to help me into night clothes at 4.30’in an afternoon was

Thank you for taking the time to review, we welcome all feedback and always learn. The support we provided you has been within our partnership work with NHS North Neighbourhood Hub the visit times we were required to make were on mornings and tea times hence the 4.30 pm visits. This service has a different remit to our mainstream services as the visits are shorter and the number of visits per day varies for each patient, a bed visit was not assessed for your needs. The duration of the visits varied depending on your support needs we carried out tasks that were additional to the remit whilst ensuring you gained your independence which was achieved over a period of three months. I ensured regular contact by carrying out some visits myself and remained accessible at all times which was an additional element to our remit. We are happy to see you are progressing and wish you good health for the future.

My dad is currently receiving assistance from Love In Care.
Dad is a very private person and before his accident, totally independent.
The care he receives from the agency is excellent, each and everyone in the team that looks after my dad are professional helpful and very caring. He receives encouragement
from them to be independent. Over the last few months, Dad has improved enormously with the assistance of the team. I hope once his care package is sorted, he can remain under the care of Love In Care.
