The Care Collection provides award-winning hourly home care across Kirklees, Wakefield and Calderdale and live-in care throughout Yorkshire and surrounding counties. The care includes domestic help, companionship, personal care, medication help through to support for complex conditions such as Dementia, Parkinson's, Motor Neurones, Stroke Care and Brain and Spinal Injuries.

The Care Collection was founded by a local resident with over 30 years' experience working across the whole care sector with people of all ages. They are not an agency or franchise run by someone with no care experience.

They employ professional and experienced carers who are required to pass a stringent recruitment and selection process, and undergo thorough training and shadowing. The care is managed by local care management teams.

Why choose Care Collection?

- They have received incredibly positive feedback from the CQC inspector (please visit the CQC website to read the full inspection report).

- Clients have the same carer day in day out and a personal matching service enables clients and carers to form close long-lasting relationships.

- Carers have time to care through minimum 1-hour visits.

- Care plans are developed around the preferences of each Client.

- They only recruit staff who have an uncompromising commitment to quality and a positive “can-do” attitude.

- They employ a rigorous recruitment process, and all staff are DBS and reference checked.

- Extensive and ongoing training is provided to ensure staff can support clients with special medical conditions.

We had a carer that wasn't quite suited to our needs. The communication is not always on point, there have been errors and wrong times or dates changed or cancelled, different to our request. Times changed without letting us know and finding out it had moved to later times. They were all addressed but
would have been more of an excellent service, had it not happened in the first place.

Thank you for your review. We are glad we resolved the teething issues you experienced as we endeavour to continue to provide you with an excellent service.

Reliable service, sending people with the right criteria and training that has been asked for. We are messaged a few days before to inform us of the carer that will be coming and the times. So far we are very pleased.

The Care Collection has been involved with the care of my father for around 15 months, and during this time his needs have changed considerably. The care he has received has always met his needs and whenever we have needed to make any changes or request extra visits, they have always managed to accommodate
them. We have had experience with other care companies and feel that The Care Collection are a very professional and caring organisation and would be happy to recommend them to others.

We are happy with the care that The Care Collection provide for our mum. Nothing is too much bother and all the staff from carers to office staff are very approachable. We had a couple of minor issues and these have been dealt with promptly and with understanding. We would recommend The Care Collection.

We have the carers for one hour each morning and one hour each evening - now we have a double up in the evenings which was arranged very quickly - very pleasing. The carers really care about the client - his needs come first. They give helpful suggestions too. We are always happy to see them and they
leave us pleased and cheerful. We are extremely satisfied indeed with Care Collection. The three main carers are outstanding and patient and they are always on time. Communications with the office are very good. Thank you to them.

The various carers from The Care Collection were excellent. They were friendly, punctual, efficient, professional in their approach and always caring and concerned with our Mum's welfare. No complaints whatsoever.

I would highly recommend The Care Collection to anyone looking for home care. The carers always arrived on time, treat my mother with great respect, and carried out any requests with pleasure. The same two carers attended consistently, and they became her friends. Any questions I directed to the office
were dealt with courteously and acted upon as soon as possible.

The carers are very professional, friendly and efficient. They help my mum in many ways and nothing is too much trouble for them. Mum has only been having carers in her home for a month now, but I can already see a marked improvement in her health, appearance and mental state, and she's so much happier
now.

Although this company isn't the cheapest it is worth every penny. We changed mum's care company to care collection recently and can't praise the care collection staff highly enough. The management are excellent and the way all new carers shadow existing ones prior to coming on their own is very reassuring.
Mum is so much more relaxed and happier in herself since being with the care collection. The staff can't do enough for her and she is never rushed which is important as she has poor mobility due to Parkinson's. Our only regret is that we didn't change sooner. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

The management and carers have been excellent over the 2 year period they cared for my mum. They are adaptable and considerate - regular reviews and an App help keep the family informed. The carers befriended mum and took her out to local cafes which we are sure she appreciated. Cleaning and washing
also done during visits which was a great help. Would recommend to others.

Carers are always pleasant and helpful to Dad. All his care needs are met and they always do extra housework tasks. The time specified is always met, sometimes even a little early. Which doesn't bother Dad as he's an early riser.

The service provided by the Care Collection has been excellent from the outset. The staff and management have been extremely prompt and efficient in offering both advice and assistance. The use of the app has also provided a great way to receive daily updates on the care provided, given I live abroad.

My experience with the care collection has been great, within a few weeks I had a few issues with my rota but this was resolved appropriately. I now have regular carers whom I am really happy with and they help me with all aspects of my daily Tasks. They're also more than happy to be provided with the
correct training for my needs.

My sister has Parkinson's dementia, your carers come in twice a day to get her up and put her to bed. She lives with my sister and her husband. My sister tells me how marvellous your carers are. I cannot see for myself because of the lockdown. May I thank you and your carers for their excellent caring
of my sister.

Care Collection has been providing care to my mum for a couple of months now and we are really happy with the service we are receiving. Mum has advanced dementia and Parkinson's disease and the staff are working really well to provide her with care and dignity. They are prompt, professional and friendly,
taking the time mum needs to get started on a morning. They are very kind and gentle with mum. The office staff respond quickly and professionally to any concerns we have and make sure we are seeing the same carers at the same time each day, which makes such a difference.

A very professional, caring and reliable service. A consistency of carers is provided who have built a good rapport with Mum. The office is easy to contact and any queries receive a prompt reply. The use of the care planning app has proved invaluable during the current lockdown period as we receive
constant updates on Mum’s care. I can certainly recommend The Care Collection.

I find the whole Team, Staff and Management very approachable, caring, kind, professional, attentive, empathetic, and understanding of my Mums needs.
I cannot fault the service, commitment and unbelievable professionalism and more especially in these unprecedented and uncertain times during the Covid
19 pandemic.
The daily Carers always have time to listen and engage with my Mum, stimulate and encourage her to achieve daily goals. As I know she can be strong-willed and have dogged determination! But the staff are very capable of managing that and are amazing in what they achieve every single day.
Thank you.
They all give me complete peace of mind as I know they all go above and beyond which is such a comfort to me.
I cannot recommend The Care Collection enough achieving many, many different, tasks, some complex, whilst never forgetting my Mum is the main focus and reason... They just get it.. they care.
Thank you so much one and all.

Caring young staff have a great deal of time, patience and empathy in dealing with my dad. I like the fact there is a fair amount of consistency in the same carers visiting as this allows my father who suffers from Dementia with Lewy Bodies to develop trust with them, something which for him is very
important. The carers visit twice daily and allow me to continue working my full-time job and then spend time with my dad on a weekend. I would have no hesitation in recommending.

I have found the Care Collection friendly, professional and helpful in dealing with my mother in what has sometimes been a very difficult and frustrating time because of her condition. I have always been able to contact our designated manager and discuss every element of my mother's care with her. I
am satisfied that the carers who visit do a good job in looking after her and stay proactive despite at times difficult circumstances. Overall, I feel that we were able to obtain your services at a very critical time and it has made a big difference in the ongoing quality of her day to day life even though she is gradually deteriorating.

I am now embarking on my 3rd decade in Health and Social Care. I have climbed the professional ladder and have thoroughly enjoyed the exercise. Now at the top, and has earned the position of “influencer”, I want to share my success with my Clients and their families and support them by offering the best possible home care service available.

I have worked across the whole of the care sector with people of all ages and a whole spectrum of conditions including elderly care, Dementia, physical disabilities, brain injuries, mental health, neurological conditions, Learning Disabilities and palliative care.

I have acted as an advocate for my Clients and pioneered for their individual causes. I am incredibly passionate about ensuring people get the support they deserve and always strive to deliver outstanding levels of customer service. My professional training has given me the knowledge and skills to support my caring and empathetic nature as well as my desire to ensure people to lead fulfilling and independent lives.

However, I have often felt disappointed and let down by other care providers or professionals working alongside me. I have at times been demoralised and disheartened by poor practice, misplaced morals and substandard levels of care and customer service. I think the time has come for positive change!

I have therefore created The Care Collection, a stylish and unique, carefully crafted collection of home care services accessible to all.
