Thank you so much for taking the time to review our services. Feedback is very important to us as an organisation, as it helps us to continue doing what we do well, and make improvements if necessary. As you allude to in your message, when family live many miles away from loved ones, it is imperative that you are confident they are being cared for in the manner that you would care for them yourselves. We only select the best care professionals to work for Home Instead; it appears that the support your parents are receiving from us, reflects this emphasis on the quality of our staff. Once again many thanks for expressing your sentiments, I hope that we continue to meet and exceed your expectations.
Kind Regards.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write this review. I am delighted to read that you feel so satisfied with the support your mum received from Home Instead. As an organisation we spend time focusing on dementia care and offer in-house dementia training to our care professionals. As you will know from first-hand experience, people with dementia often require a different approach in terms of their care to ensure their needs are met. We understand this, and know that having a diagnosis of dementia does not preclude someone from being able to live well at home with the right support in place. Thank you once again for your appreciative comments.
Best wishes.

Thank you for such generous comments. Your parents were a delight to support during the incredibly tough time for your parents and siblings in the pandemic. Our hearts went out to you and your family and I know the caregivers were very fond of your parents and wanted to go above and beyond in their care for them both. Wishing your Dad and family the best for Christmas and the New Year and I hope 2022 brings a better start for you all.

Dear Rachel,
So sorry to be slow in thanking you for your feedback. We are always hugely grateful for clients and families submitting reviews. It is lovely to hear that your godmother is finding our visits are so supportive. It is highly personal to let someone new into your house and it only works if you match the caregivers with the client so that they can trust the individual and they feel comfortable being in your house. We can then help with more personal care. Thank you again for taking the time.

Dear Terry
Thanks so much for taking the time to post a review. It is an extra thing to do but the feedback is hugely appreciated. We will always try and be as responsive as possible to a request to providing support for clients as quickly as possible as often it is because our clients are struggling.
Equally, we think it's hugely important to build relationships and to match our caregivers to our client's personalities and their interests and nice to hear it has worked on this occasion.
Thanks again
kind regards
Mark

Hi - I'm Rebecca and I am a co-director (with Mark) of Home Instead Yeovil, Sherborne and Bridport. I am a qualified GP (working in the South Somerset area) and believe that this puts me in an excellent position to lead a company that delivers bespoke client-centred care. I live in a hamlet near Martock with my young family.
The Yeovil office was established by my late husband Ashley Gray; he was passionate about delivering top-quality care to people in their own homes, supporting them to maintain their independence if they wished to do so. Fundamental to the business are the principles of empathy, respect, value in service and continuous learning. Ashley was a great believer in the power of relationships to enrich and transform lives. He derived energy from being around other people and recognised the huge benefit that human interaction can have on an individual’s sense of well-being. I very much hope to build on the foundations that Ashley created and embed Home Instead as the most trusted home-care company in the locality.
Mark and I have a wonderful office team around us to support our vision to grow the business without compromising on quality. We have lots of exciting plans and ideas to help us attain our goal of being able to provide the best care to more people. I feel very privileged to be part of a business that has fabulous Care Professionals who are resolutely dedicated to our lovely clients and are all prepared to go the extra mile.
Although I am not from Somerset originally, I love living here; it feels like home. Away from work, I enjoy riding, running and meeting friends. Having three very active boys, we spend a lot of time outdoors, making the most of the beautiful countryside.

I have been a GP in the Somerset and Dorset area for 25 years. When not at work I love sport and have recently completed an ultramarathon (never again). I enjoy spending time walking, reading and with the family outside of sport and work. The profile picture was taken by one of my 3 year old twins to post on the website.
We are a local employer and feel a part of the local community both as an employer but crucially in providing care for clients in South Somerset & Dorset.
Having Doctors, Nurses and Caregivers in our team allow us to provide the highest quality of person-centred care, whilst having the knowledge to judge when extra support and onward referral is necessary. This is always underpinned by our ambition of maintaining a client’s independence, enabling people to stay in their own homes wherever possible.
I believe the prioritization of time we give to our clients builds the space for empathy and enjoyment of social interaction. This allows us to create relationships that are based on an individual’s personal interests as well as their needs. It is only through taking the time to truly understand an individual, that we are equipped with the detail to deliver a bespoke service. These elements have been critical in my clinical practice and inform our ethos at Home Instead. Some of my feelings have been shaped by looking after both my parents who suffer from dementia and are cared for at home by a dedicated team (including my brother and I). My focus is on providing care that I would be happy for my Mum and Dad to enjoy.
