We used Oakhaven Care for just a couple of weeks before my Mum moved into Oakhaven Hospice. The carers we met were all absolutely amazing and I cannot praise them highly enough.
They were always on time, totally professional and full of compassion.

I've been using Oakhaven Care services for over 5 years now. I initially contacted them to provide daily visits when it became obvious that my father was struggling with caring for my mother, who was having a hard time with depression and decreased mobility. The change that the Oakhaven carers brought
to the house was immediate and transformative. Suddenly, my father was no longer the only person responsible for caring for my mother, which meant that their relationship could go back to being husband and wife, rather than what it had become. Then in early 2020, my father fell and broke his hip, at which point, Oakhaven were able to provide live-in carers to assist with all the things my father was no longer able to do. Since mid-2020, we've been using the same live-in caregiver and she remained in place after my mother's passing later that year. I'm really not sure if my father would still be alive if not for the amazing presence of his carer.

Oakhaven Care provides my mother with a fantastic service. They are very reliable, conscientious and kind. My mother enjoys her evening visits from Oakhaven care staff and speaks very highly of the care they provide. They go out of their way to provide a first-class service, even when contacted out
of hours, nothing is too much trouble and they are extremely focussed on the wellbeing of the client. I would strongly recommend Oakhave Care to anyone looking for a home care provider.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 5.000 for Oakhaven Care Lymington is calculated as follows: ( (29 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 29 Ratings = 5

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Oakhaven Care Lymington is based on 5 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 = 4.5

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
