Kanyuchi Healthcare is an independent Homecare Provider. It has been providing invaluable care and support to people in and around Fareham since 2016.

Following a career as a care assistant and registered nurse, the founder of Kanyuchi Healthcare launched the company with a passion to provide high quality care and support to people in their own homes, applying everything they'd learnt throughout their career in the sector.

Kanyuchi Healthcare includes a team of managers, Senior Staff and Carers. All staff are involved in care visits, this enables the team to provide a high level of care where you can also get to know the whole team closely. They work in collaboration with other local professionals to enhance your health, wellbeing and access to local services.

My Mum who has dementia has been receiving live-in care for the past 5 months. The manager has been very helpful and responsive and I have felt reassured that he is very knowledgeable and understanding of patients who have dementia. Getting Mum used to live-in care was very challenging but through her
carer's patience and understanding supported by the manager, she eventually settled. The communication has been excellent and it has meant that I feel reassured she is in great hands so I have been able to step back from the stress and concentrate on my own life and family. Mum's main carer is great with her and has got to know her really well and works with her changing moods and the challenges this brings. Patience is very understanding with Mum and has become attuned to her needs and routines. The break carers take her out and she seems to have fun going to groups and having outings. The carers are all caring and professional and I would definitely recommend this agency.

Following a worsening of my mum's condition we used Kanyuchi for a visit a day. They were very professional ensuring all the carers knew my mum's needs and care plan. All the carers were very caring towards my mum and helped her with all her care needs. We would not hesitate to use Kanyuchi should we

Following surgery and a mini-stroke, my wife required care at home. The manager carried out a thorough assessment of both the care my wife required and also the support that I as a carer required. This resulted in a package of care that allowed me to have a break whilst my wife received the care she
required.
The staff are excellent, they are patient and courteous, they engage in conversation and keep my wife informed as to what they are doing. They have a sense of humour and no task is too much for them, they go the extra mile to ensure that the standard of care is to a very high standard.
I feel quite confident that if I have to go out whilst my wife is receiving care, she is in safe hands.
A highly professional and caring company.

My mum lives alone and independently and, has done so for over 20 years. A couple of months before my wife and I were due to go on holiday, she developed a frozen shoulder which resulted in extreme pain, immobility and depression. I contacted Kanyuchi who were happy to provide personal care and welfare
checks on her whilst we were away. The manager carried out a thorough assessment and tailor-made a care plan which covered all of my mum's needs. The carers were made aware that she had a good sense of humour and enjoyed to chat and laugh. We were very happy and relieved to see that she remained positive every day and built a great rapport. She said they were all brilliant and looked after her impeccably and professionally. In addition, the manager made it possible for us to read the carer's notes after each visit whilst we were away, so we could see how she was getting on and put our minds at rest, they even sent a photograph of her smiling with one of the carers.

My nan has been a client for eight months and I couldn’t be happier with the service provided. From the initial meeting with the manager and a carer, I have been listened to and the needs of my nan have been put first.
My nan thoroughly enjoys the time she spends with the carers, whether that be just
sat chatting in her care home or being taken on outings. The carers have built fantastic relationships with my nan and she talks about the shopping trips, visits to the garden centre, their walks and picnics with great joy.
I have found the flexibility and the communication to be excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone.

Very friendly and helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to help others and make sure they have everything they need and very professional and kind to my mom. Our 91-year-old mother was housebound and chose to live at home which required an increasing amount of help throughout the day. Kanyuchi Care staff, who visited her over the past year, have been caring and compassionate, never rushing her but taking time to complete her personal care and ensure she
was as comfortable as possible despite her medical issues. The whole team went above and beyond to show Mum respect and assist her with whatever was required, often overrunning whilst still acting in a calm and patient manner. Mum passed away recently due to the frailty of old age but no one could have received better end-of-life care than from the 'Kanyuchi Angels' who Mum adored. Thank you, you are a first-class team!

The Kanyuchi Healthcare carers have looked after my mum since February 2022, when she returned home following several months in hospital.
All the carers have treated her well and helped to restore her confidence and overcome her general anxiety.
Whenever I visit my mum and the carers are present they
are always friendly and chatty. It is also easy to contact the management team to discuss anything.

The whole family are very happy with the care that our mum/nan is getting. She always looks forward to the carers coming in and feels very relaxed with them and has a joke with them all. I feel the communication is really good between myself and the carers and always get updates on how my mum is doing/feeling.
We feel that all the carers have built my mum's confidence as she was very anxious when she first come out of hospital. I would highly recommend the company.

As I have some responsibility for the health and welfare of the client I was first made aware of the service provider when they were selected to visit the client twice daily to administer medication and offer any basic assistance they might consider appropriate during their visit. I have always found
them to be reliable and willing to assist the client and feel reassured by their visits. Also, if I have ever wanted to discuss matters concerning the client with them they are easy to contact or will respond quickly.

Kanyuchi Healthcare have been providing companionship care to my disabled brother for almost a year. The carers have always treated my brother with the utmost respect, and show genuine interest in his hobbies and make him feel valued. They always provide plenty of notice as to which carer will be in
attendance and always introduce any new carers to my brother beforehand, ensuring he is happy and comfortable with the carer before they actually start caring for him. The positive friendly attitudes of the carers has definitely provided my brother with a new lease of life and he looks forward to the days they attend him.

Previous to my present job at Kanyuchi I ran my own childminding business from home for 14 years.
I enjoyed my time with the children immensely, which could at times be challenging as well as extremely rewarding, especially as I have been able to watch many of the children I cared for grow from babies to happy children and successful young adults.
Just before I decided to hang up my baby blankets and end my business, I had my final OFSTED inspection and was rewarded with an Outstanding which made all my hard work worthwhile.

Often our clients like to talk about their past, they may be lonely or just like to talk, some stories are so very interesting and full of history.
