Kanyuchi Healthcare is an independent Homecare Provider. It has been providing invaluable care and support to people in and around Fareham since 2016.

Following a career as a care assistant and registered nurse, the founder of Kanyuchi Healthcare launched the company with a passion to provide high quality care and support to people in their own homes, applying everything they'd learnt throughout their career in the sector.

Kanyuchi Healthcare includes a team of managers, Senior Staff and Carers. All staff are involved in care visits, this enables the team to provide a high level of care where you can also get to know the whole team closely. They work in collaboration with other local professionals to enhance your health, wellbeing and access to local services.

My husband, who has advanced dementia, has been expertly cared for by Kanyuchi Healthcare. They brighten his day taking him on trips out eg to the beach and are always coming up with new places to visit. Apart from staff holidays, we are provided the same carer which is very much appreciated. The carers
are fun and go to great lengths to support each of us, always listening to our care needs and trying to help. Kind and compassionate - couldn't manage without them!

We have never been anything but pleased with the care and consideration that we get from Kanyuchi Healthcare. The owner does his utmost to accommodate any alterations in our needs. Kanyuchi has provided us with continuity, something extremely important for him with his Alzheimer's and myself so that
I may leave him confident that he is happy and safe. Over the last year, we have had just one regular sitter every week, and the owner himself comes if our regular carer is on holiday or for any reason unable to attend. They both engage hin in puzzles, photographers, music etc. The owner does boys talk about football, one of his old passions! They both take him out weather and Covid-19 permitting. Making his lunch to eat at home or with them for a picnic. All in all very happy.

I have been very happy with the care that Kanyuchi Healthcare have provided for my mum. Mum suffers from Alzheimer’s and has recently gone to live in a care home, but up until the day that she did, the staff at Kanyuchi have been amazing.
They took time to get to know my mum and her daily routine and
she loved seeing “her ladies” every day.
We needed more help from Kanyuchi when Mum's day centre was closed because of the Coronavirus, and they were very accommodating with any changes or extra visits we needed.
It was easy to contact the manager if I needed to, and we had regular updates on Mum's progress.
I don’t know what our family would have done without their kindness, compassion and expertise towards my mum, and our family always felt very comforted that they were looking after our mum, at the times that we couldn’t.
I would highly recommend Kanyuchi Healthcare to anyone.

Looked after my mother with the perfect care for her needs. The compassion towards her is second to none. Nice to see happy and smiley people who love what they do. You can see the staff are trained to a high standard. Would recommend them to family and friends.

Since Kanyuchi Healthcare have been providing my care, the service has been excellent. After spending most of January in hospital, the care when I was discharged has been exemplary. The carers have done everything they can to help with my recovery. I have a wonderful set of carers.

We could not wish for a better caring service.
All the staff are always cheerful and bright and give us a welcome light to our day. They are always on time, and they are smartly dressed.
Nothing is too much trouble for them, and they are very understanding and compassionate.

I have been very happy with my care with this company, and very relieved having had other care companies with upsetting results (bad and uncaring carers, lack of hygiene, time or even interest!). This company are very reliable, hygienic, very caring of you and your needs, and most helpful an interested.

How long have you been working in the care industry?
Previous to my present job at Kanyuchi I ran my own childminding business from home for 14 years.
I enjoyed my time with the children immensely, which could at times be challenging as well as extremely rewarding, especially as I have been able to watch many of the children I cared for grow from babies to happy children and successful young adults.
Just before I decided to hang up my baby blankets and end my business, I had my final OFSTED inspection and was rewarded with an Outstanding which made all my hard work worthwhile.


What attracted you to care?
I am one of those people who gets a kick out of helping others, it upsets me when I see suffering and sadness. I know what a difference having someone who really ‘cares’ can do.


What is your favourite thing about care?
If I can make a positive difference to someone’s life and wellbeing and also close family members lives, then it means a lot to me.
It’s a lovely feeling knowing someone is looking forward to seeing you and really appreciates what you do for them.
Often our clients like to talk about their past, they may be lonely or just like to talk, some stories are so very interesting and full of history.


What is good about Kanyuchi?
We have a great team, which is steadily growing. We all get along well and work well together and individually.
I feel we are listened to if we have any concerns or problems, and Serge will always do his best to keep the company running smoothly and keep everyone, clients and staff, happy.

I like to think I am approachable; I’m hard working and have a good sense of humour. I enjoy being around positive and kind people. I don’t like being in a negative environment and find ‘energy vampires’ draining. Luckily none work at Kanyuchi!
