Mum was happy and confident with the individual carers who visited her, looking forward to
We must also say how supported we felt as a family by all the carers, managers and office staff – they were always on the end of the phone, listening and were able to quickly adjust the care package to suit Mums ever-increasing needs.
Without WHC Mum couldn't have stayed in her own home for so long – Thank you.

Dr Macaulay has a background in both health and social care. After growing up in the Lake District he graduated from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Medicine and Surgery and has worked in hospitals across the country. He specialised in Emergency Medicine.. He has worked in homecare for 10 years and previously ran a homecare company in Liverpool before moving back to Kendal. He has also worked in nursing homes including specialised dementia and challenging behaviour care. He holds a level 5 diploma in Leadership as well as undertaking extensive training in Care Management. Dr Macaulay is also a dementia trainer, moving and handling trainer and is a specialist safeguarding lead.

Dr Moss started his career in engineering before moving to health and social care. He completed his second degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Newcastle before undertaking specialist training in intensive care and anaesthetics. He has a background in business management and personal experience caring for relatives with dementia.
