Oh my! How would we ever have managed without home Instead Senior Care? My husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer in February 2019. As soon as Home Instead became involved we were both cared for. Nothing was ever too much. The girls were caring and thorough. The management left nothing unsorted.
We are so grateful to a wonderful team. Sadly, despite all the care, my husband passed away on September 7th 2019.

It was good to know that the Home Instead Carer was building a relationship with my Aunt so that she could build on this as time went on. There was a lot that could be offered by the carers from Home Instead to match support required for my Aunt's needs. Sadly my Aunt was admitted to hospital and has
not been able to be discharged home so we have not been able to see this caring relationship flourish.

The director and the team offer a first class care service. Not only do they provide an invaluable lifeline for those wishing to stay at home but also to those who need extra support to do so. They can always be relied upon - they even managed with the heavy snow earlier in the year! The carers are
real professionals and they have become good friends with my Mother who looks forward to seeing them.

The care and support provided by the manager and his team is second to none. The carers treat my clients with dignity and respect and above all have a great deal of natural empathy and an extremely caring attitude. I would not hesitate using this team for any of my clients as I know the care received
will be of a very high standard. Nothing is too much trouble and I regularly turn to the management team when I require care at short notice. In particular, I am very impressed with the way the carers get to know my clients which really makes an impact on their everyday lives. I must also mention the manager who has given my clients exceptional support and who is also very well liked by both clients and their families.

Home Instead Senior Care in Dawlish has been a wonderful support to my cousin and a reassurance to me in that I live a distance away.
I have found a whole company supportive kind and efficient.
They responded rapidly when I first approached them on behalf of my cousin and my cousin was delighted with
the ladies who came to help her.

After a fall, my cousin needed help at home and needed it to start quickly. Home Instead pulled out all the stops to get the paperwork in place and get the right carers lined up. They started just one week after my first phone call. The family, who all live a long way away, are grateful to know that
reliable people go in every day and will help with just about anything. The 'girls' have even sorted taking the dog to the vet and getting his teeth sorted out. Thank you, Home Instead.

Home Instead have been helping my father who is living alone in Exeter for several months. He is independent and capable of living at home alone as long as there is some support. Home Instead has been very flexible and ensure that he reaches the shops on a regular basis. He is very complimentary about
the quality and friendliness of the staff that provide that assistance. As I live some distance away having Home Instead on tap gives me the peace of mind that all is well especially as I know that I could ask Home Instead to step in at any time should my father need further assistance.

After many years of working in IT alongside others, Andy wanted to do something people-focused and could see first-hand the positive difference he made to people’s lives within the local community.
Therefore, Home Instead's ethos and model stood out immediately to Andy. Treating each of our clients as individuals, taking time to understand their interests, likes and dislikes and match clients with like-minded CAREGivers, is why Andy is so proud to own a Home Instead office.
Working closely with his partner Josephine, Andy manages the business invoices and supports Daniel with day-to-day operations.

Josephine is Home Instead West Exeter & Tegnbridge's Co-Owner.
Similarly to Andy, after many years of working in IT, Josephine enjoys reviewing internal processes and implements improvements to operate the office more effectively.
Joesphine also manages finances, ensures data is maintained securely and enjoys D.I.Y meaning she has become the go-to person for hanging shelves, coat hooks, pictures and mending things!

Having worked in the health and social care sector for 10-years, predominantly supporting adults with a learning disability, Dan has gained many transferable skills.


Working with people to make a positive difference in their lives is why Dan enjoys working for Home Instead. Dan leads all office operations, supporting the Office Team and CAREGiver's to provide person-lead quality care. Coming from a big family himself, Dan presents a family-feel to all aspects of the business working alongside his father (Andy) and his brother (Joseph) while ensuring both colleagues and clients feel welcomed.
