Overall Experience

I have reviewed the wonderful Bluebird Care Company before, but have to add a comment about their recent reaction to our changing needs. Following advice from carers who have called recently, and been concerned for my husband's welfare, I asked if the time of his calls could be altered. This is going

to happen immediately, and we quite simply cannot thank the carers and the admin team enough. The new timings will make a huge difference to my husband's well-being. I have to once again, stress what an outstanding company Bluebird is. Carers are unfailingly punctual, courteous, respectful of my husband and his needs and yet also very friendly, lighthearted and always smiling. We have every confidence in them. They begin and end our days in peace and comfort. They are clearly committed to the company and to the people they care for. Thank you, Bluebirds!

Overall Experience

The service received from the carers for our elderly mother who has dementia is very good. They have been able to assist with the routine requested admirably. Any "tweaks" in the service they provide or "one-off" requests have been undertaken.
Carers also give feedback on any potential health issues.
Administration

is very good, invoices are always correct, timetables delivered in advance and any alterations in service are advised in advance.
Bluebird Care also update us on other services available.
We would encourage Bluebird Care to give advice on interactive activities that would improve our mother's mental health and also on better products that would help e.g. a better phone system. We have stopped services momentarily due to Covid but will return - an update on carers' injections may speed this up.

As new carers join us, if they are not already vaccinated, they will be signed up as soon as possible. Overall Experience

During the Christmas period my brother, who is normally the main carer for my father contracted Covid and was unable to provide our father with his care needs. At short notice over the holiday period the field supervisor arranged support for my father. At this stressful time Bluebird Carers ensured

my father ate hot meals and made him hot drinks.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the field supervisor and all the carers who helped and supported my father at this time.

Overall Experience

Bluebird have been supporting my Mum over the last couple of years and she has always been satisfied with the care that she has received. My Mum is extremely vulnerable and therefore feels happier when she has familiar faces and staff entering her home - especially during an evening. She realises this

can sometimes be difficult having a consistency of staff to care for her, and appreciates this when possible.

Overall Experience

I have been using Bluebird Care now for around a year and I took great care in choosing a provider due to the failings of another care company. I have to say that Bluebird provide an exceptionally brilliant service. All of the care staff and office staff are so polite and nothing is too much trouble

for them. I have been provided with a rota every week without fail so I know which carer is due on which day. I can honestly say that also the carers have always come at the agreed time and are never late.
I have complete trust in all of the careers and the company as a whole, I am just so happy that I made the move to Bluebird.

Overall Experience

Bluebird Care carers visit my parents weekly. My mum tells me that all the carers are friendly and efficient in all the cleaning tasks requested of them. Once, when I rang, Mum told me that the carer was listening to some music with my dad. He has one CD that he listens to over and over again! A fresh

pair of ears - great for my mum and him! As I live 3 hours away, it is very reassuring for me to know that they are being supported by a caring team. I have spoken with several members of staff on a number of occasions and have found everyone to be empathetic, knowledgeable and most professional. Thank you!

Overall Experience

The two ladies are amazing, from the get-go they put me and my sister at ease, we have never had to use a care company before and we were unsure of the process or even what to do for my moms best interests, and they helped us and discussed my mom's needs until we all come to the best solution.
The

carers are professional and are mindful of my mom's needs and conditions, a lovely group of trustworthy carers.
They have really given me and my family peace of mind, and often an ear to bend which is much needed!
Fantastic service, and team. Highly recommend to all.

Overall Experience

The provision of care for my very elderly mother with Vascular Dementia and many mobility problems was excellent. It was provided at very short notice, within 24 hours. The carer was respectful, punctual, considerate, helpful and safe in all she did. I would recommend Bluebird and the service it provides

with no concerns.

My mum has received the care that was needed from Bluebird. There are some lovely staff employed there. My only observation is that there a lot of staff so my mum didn’t get to have the same carer very often and this bothered her. They are always professional.

I have had a look and it looks like 12 different members of staff have visited your mum in the last 3 months. We do always try to maintain continuity of care staff wherever possible, but these are of course unprecedented times with unusual pressures on staff members. I am pleased however that you and your mother have found that the staff have been professional and caring and that your mother has had the care that she has needed.

Mother in Law, who is profoundly deaf and has been diagnosed with Vascular dementia, has been receiving care from Bluebird for about a year now. Carers come 2 days a week around lunchtime and cook lunch for her. I know she also really enjoys the company and the "chats" with them (it must involve a lot

of writing on their part!). She often tells us what news she has of them. Even in the recent difficult circumstances (COVID restrictions), they have provided a really good service.

Overall Experience

After coming out of the hospital with terminal cancer, my mum and the family had to come to terms with the diagnosis. In addition, previous existing mental health conditions were exacerbated. A care agency was organised, but this did not go well, and they were complaining about my mum and writing things

into the notes which did not seem reflective of the situation. Their approach was that we were an annoyance to them, and they gave notice on providing care. The new agency identified was Bluebird care. What a difference in approach from the moment of the first contact. The thing which shines through is that Bluebird does actually care about their clients. The clients are people to them, and they want to support them to be the best they can - they go out of their way to make life better. My mum has gone from cutting herself off from the world; to enjoying eating and gardening again and she looks forwards to the carers visits. She is enjoying living again. Thank you, Bluebird.

Overall Experience

Bluebird Care came highly recommended when I was looking for just a small amount of help for my terminally ill parent. He was very dubious about anyone coming to assist as he's very independent. He now looks forward to the care/service and the company and I am feeling a little bit lighter of load knowing

he's well looked after and in safe hands.

Bluebird Care are very well organised and send the schedule of who is calling and when. They regularly review the service with myself and my father. They have contacted me when they have noticed something that needs sorting out. The carers are professional, patient, hardworking and always courteous

and kind. My sister and I are absolutely delighted to know that our father is being looked after so well and with such respect and kindness.

Overall Experience

I have only praise for the team at Bluebird. I believe the staff are representative of their management who we find amazing and professional in all aspects.
We use Bluebird services remotely for my mother in the UK and there is never a lapse in communication between myself in Australia and the office

team and carers. I have high praise for the app which allows me to view details of the services provided daily and the condition of Mum's health and well being. I highly recommend Bluebird service for demonstrating genuine care and providing great value for money.
