Thank you for your review. However, your claims are incorrect, misleading, and defamatory. Our Southport branch has over 65 years of combined experience, and our team's professionalism is well-documented. All your previous allegations were investigated and found unsubstantiated by ourselves and third parties. The communication breakdown was from your end, despite our repeated efforts to contact you, your behaviour during interactions was hostile and aggressive. Our policies and procedures are readily accessible, as you are fully aware, having received and reviewed these documents in the past. We maintain accurate client records and cannot falsify care documentation. Despite our efforts to support your child's transition into adulthood, you resisted their independence and withheld care provision. We champion inclusivity and independence and did not condone your negative characterisation of your child. Due to your obstruction of the care plan, we served notice on your service.

We provided you with live-in care services as requested which was discussed upon your initial telephone enquiry, in the assessment process with you and your daughter and at the meet and greet session.
As well as the above, our live-in care services are set out in our contract. Our carer provided the care that was required for your daughter which involved personal care, nutrition, hydration and assisting with toileting and was available in your home upon your daughter's request for any assistance she required. The management team have tried to contact you numerous times by phone and email to resolve any issues however you have stated ‘you didn’t want to speak to anyone’.
Here at Alcedo Care we are always flexible and offer support to all our valued clients. We take onboard feedback (both positive and negative) to ensure that any issues are resolved in the most effective way whilst improving our service, we are sorry you feel we didn’t deliver the service that was ultimately agreed.

My name is Lucy Deighton and I am proud to be the Operations Manager for Alcedo Care Southport/Preston/North Liverpool & Sefton/South Liverpool and Live-in Care England & Wales. I have over 10 years of experience in the health and social care sector, starting as a home carer. My healthcare career started off in college, studying for a Health and Social Diploma and working for a local home care agency within Southport. Once I completed my diploma, I then studied at the University of Central Lancashire where I successfully graduated from university with a health and social degree. Whilst I was studying, I worked within a local care home and worked up to become a Deputy Manager. I enjoyed this role however after 2 years, I decided I wanted to move back to home care services and further my knowledge. I was a care coordinator for a local homecare provider within the Southport area, coordinating a team of 50+ staff members and over 2000 hours of care a week. Whilst co-ordinating I studied further and I successfully passed my QCF Level 5 NVQ in Leadership Management for Health and Social care for adults and children. Following my achievement, I wanted to put all my new knowledge into practice and am fortunately now the Operations Manager of Alcedo Care Southport/Preston/North Liverpool & Sefton / South Liverpool and Live-in Care England & Wales.
Throughout my career, I have always challenged myself to find ways to support and enable those in my care provision to receive the best possible care and support, by working with all multi-disciplinary healthcare teams and of course, my team of staff by ensuring they are well trained, organised, and professional. My role is to ensure all clients’ needs are met every day to the highest possible level.

I come from Liverpool and have spent a large amount of my working life in the Fitness and Security industry. My name is Hayley and I have worked in the care industry for 11 years. I started my career as a Care Assistant in a local nursing home. I was looking after many clients with end-stage dementia and it was in this home that I learnt a lot of my core care skills that I still use today.
