We have has Radfield Home Care for the past 8/9 months and can only speak very highly of the carers who have attended my husband. The last few months we have had a male carer who has been wonderful, not only caring well but keeping my husband in good conversation about all subjects and food! It is a
pleasure to have him twice a week.

Not only has the service given me peace of mind about my mum, but my mum has wonderful support care and companionship. Her carer is lovely, amazingly efficient and absolutely delightful with my mum.
My mum was very adamant that she did not want a care package she now looks forward to her visits and
would not be without her care package.
The service provides a professional, sensitive and discrete assessment process. The initial visit to my mum was professional but friendly and the care package was sensitively tailored to her needs. The service has also been attentive in ensuring that she is appraised of any changes and have provided a very personal approach to my mum.
We are delighted with this service and could not recommend them more highly.

What can I say? My mother cared for my father 24/7 and we arrived at the point she could not do it by herself. Frankly, she needed her own time as well. We turned to Radfield and thank goodness we did. My mother would be lost without them - my younger brother and I do what we can for both our parents
but living so far away, knowing that our father (who is not the easiest to please!) is being so well cared for is such a relief, not just for us but our mother as well. She always comments on what a superb team they all are - she'd be lost without them.
My own experiences clearly demonstrate they go the extra mile, nothing is too much - their flexibility, thoughtfulness, always there to listen and help in any way they can.
The lead carer gets on so well with both parents, it has been an absolute pleasure having him around - he thoroughly deserves high praise. The rapport he has with Dad is simply excellent. A huge thanks to him and the rest of the team.

Our carer has become incredibly important to both Mum and Dad. Dad has made a real connection with him and he is one of the very few people he is prepared to listen to which is testament to our carer's naturally caring nature, sense of humour and professionalism in the role he carries out. He is also
incredibly valuable to Mum as someone she can talk sensibly and objectively to about the issues Dad is facing and a much needed friendly face, especially during the lockdown period.

I needed to use this service to enable me to live at home after spinal surgery to relieve pressure on my spinal cord; which has significantly reduced mobility. I have found the staff and management to be very supportive, friendly and efficient. I feel the staff have treated me with respect and encouragement;
which has enabled me to feel more confident in the range of activities I can now attempt. For instance, walking further, cooking and more varied household tasks; which has increased my independence. The manager has been very efficient in keeping in touch, and this has been reassuring. He is also very supportive of the staff; which enables them to provide an excellent service to clients.

My mother has had the carers from Radfield going into her home for the last five months. I personally have had the pleasure of meeting three of the carers over this period and found all of them to be friendly and efficient workers. My mother is the last person to allow people into her home, but the
girls (and boys) have obviously won her over. Due to the Coronavirus, I have decided to stop anyone but myself attending to my mum, but once everything has settled down again, we will be perfectly happy to have the girls from Radfield back again.

Dave is Director of Radfield Home Care Liverpool North. Dave has worked for Shell for over 15 years, involved in a number of global projects, working with interesting people all over the world.


It is Dave’s belief that being able to interact with individuals from all walks of life is an integral part of being successful in the Home Care sector and he has brought all of these skills to his business.


Dave has first-hand home care experience, as sadly over recent years he has seen both his parents struggle with Dementia and the challenges this brings to family and loved ones. As the family journey continued, Dave’s inspiration for his business has been driven by his struggle to find high quality, person-centred home care for his parents.

Denys joined Radfield Home Care Liverpool North in 2019 and has brought with him a wealth of experience in the care sector.


He has worked in home care since 2007 in various roles from project management to multi-site management. “I have worked in a number of roles in the past having been in the Royal Air Force for a number of years until I had my daughter. I then worked for a finance company for a couple of years and progressed from Receptionist to a New Business Clerk. I then moved to the Santander Retail Contact Centre, I then moved into the Fraud Contact Centre within the first 12 months and progressed to a Contact Centre Team Leader, managing a team of 15 call handlers, dealing with customer escalations, complaints and making sure the customer journey was smooth. I remained with the bank for 11 years and only left due to redundancy. I wanted a new role which would be more engaging with people and moved to the North West Ambulance as a call handler which I really enjoyed and remained there for 7 months. I then moved to a home care company as a Recruitment Consultant and progressed to a Recruitment Account manager.”


“When I initially joined the home care company I had never worked in the care sector and couldn’t answer questions potential candidates would ask. I completed my care certificate training within the first 8 weeks and delivered home care for some time. This gave me the knowledge and experience to help and reassure potential candidate queries. I enjoy recruitment and getting to speak with a variety of people on a day-to-day basis.”
