Blue River Home Care are a professional and reliable home care agency who provide the highest level of support to enable people to live independently within their own homes.

Operating within the Enfield area of London, this local care provider only employs the best possible staff. Potential care employees are selected for their compassion and for their care experience. They are then carefully vetted and also have to complete rigorous training.

Blue River Home Care focuses on delivering truly person-centered care, personal care, washing, dressing, helping with housekeeping, shopping, cooking, companionship and management of medication, amongst other care duties. They provide Specialist Dementia Care, End of life care and specialist care for people suffering from stroke and other medical conditions requiring specialist care.

Blue River Home Care provides Home from Hospital support and can assess care needs while patients are still in the hospital, prepare everything essential for safe discharge and transfer of care and start providing the care package on the day of the discharge.

Blue River Home Care is proud to have the capacity of starting a new care package within 24 hours of receiving an enquiry. They go the extra mile of providing information & advice on customer's entitlement to NHS, CCG and Local Authority funded care as well as advice on other benefits. The company has established strong partnerships with many local and national organisations and can refer its customers to these organisations to meet the needs of customers fully.

The staff at Blue River have been excellent, and shown true care and dedication to my elderly father, even when he has presented with challenging and difficult behaviour. They have kept me informed and updated, even at weekends and out of office hours, and been responsive and flexible with regard to
my father’s evolving care needs.

We have never had to use homecare before for our elderly mother so when we discovered Blue River Home Care we couldn't believe the level of service we were given. Mum is a very proud woman, very anxious and did not want any strangers into her home to provide personal care, however, she can no longer
walk and my sister who cares for her 24 hours a day had had no break for over 18 months and they both needed a break from each other! My very first Email to Blue River was responded to almost instantly (A rare thing these days!). The email smiled at me, so welcoming and informative with all the information required and a good website too. Customer service outstanding, thank you. We were able to book at short notice a weekend Career for the following month. Bearing in mind, Mum didn't want to have home care when the carer arrived she was soon put at ease with how caring and friendly she is. Mum soon made a friend and already asked if we take a break again could it be that carer.

Very professional and caring who not only looked after my mother, they also contacted the doctor's surgery on a regular basis in connection with the issue of repeat prescriptions and visits from nurses. They would accommodate any requests to change the time of their visits to attend to my mother's needs.

Blue River made my mum’s last two years as happy as they could be. The provided carer was truly outstanding. She did caring as a calling. She was constantly joyous and attentive so she instantly lifted my mum’s mood each and every day. She was hard working around the house so both my mum and the home
were spotless. She ensured that Mum was fed with home-cooked food and kept her as mobile as possible by carrying out the daily exercises. The company itself supported us all the way, being friendly and very easy to contact.

My husband’s care following his stroke was arranged by the hospital three years ago with Blue River Home Care. What a relief to have found them! The level of care is exceptional, carers visit in couples four times a day and the coordination of that is admirable. Everyone from the office staff to carers
is very empathetic, knowledgeable and genuinely determined to improve my husband’s mobility and well-being. Nothing is too much trouble, they go above and beyond in their work. The company helped us enormously during Covid-19 lockdowns and were the only visiting friends and family for us. I am delighted to recommend Blue River Home Care because of the difference they have made to my husband and me for the last three years. A huge thank you.

Blue River Home Care has been supporting Mum since summer 2019 from a care package that started with one visit a day and is now four visits a day. The support they provide has always suited Mum's personal needs and has seamlessly adapted to her diminishing memory problems. More recently, they arranged
for Mum to live on the ground floor of her house, a stairlift is in the pipeline, with a minimum of fuss. They have enabled me to support Mum remotely very effectively over the last twelve months whilst running a very busy business from home. The standard of care and attention to detail from Blue River Home Care is always of a very high standard and the staff are always highly committed to providing the best possible service.

Invaluable service! Blue River has made a huge difference to my Mum and Dad’s life and to the whole family also. It’s been such a relief for us to know that our parents are so well looked after and Covid safe 24/7 with 2 Live-in carers at all times. Mum has Alzheimer’s and Dad had a Stroke. They are
not the easiest of people, being extremely particular about everything and the carers and managers have gone out of their way to understand my parents’ individual needs and wishes. All Live-in carers are competent, respectful, compassionate, trustworthy and the admin staff is fabulous too. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Even in lockdown Blue River ensured our parents have an exciting, fulfilling and quality life. The company ensured my Mum and Dad are safe but happy too and we are so very grateful. Outstanding care.

We have been using Blue River Carers since last July to give a daily visit to my elderly mum who was finding some of her daily chores together with lockdown challenging!
We are so grateful we did now, as all family members live some distance away and the daily carers have given us peace of mind.
Communication between us and my mum and the carers are excellent and despite my mum being reticent at first about carers coming-in to her home, the carers and my mum now have such a bond that she misses her ‘little team’ if they have time off!
We can’t thank Blue River enough for giving such excellent service in what can only be described as extremely tricky times! Well done to all!

A very professional organisation. My mother was receiving daily care visits for a few months, and then we switched to 24-hour live-in care for nearly two years now.
They are flexible to fit in with our needs have been a 'Godsend' to us.


We are very lucky to have found such a highly competent organisation,

going far and beyond to help and support my mother. The office and live-in carers are extremely competent, responsible and very supportive of me as well as my mother. Very highly recommended.

We have been very pleased with everyone that works at Blue River; they are very easy to talk to and very willing to sort out any situation that may arise.


They have helped me through the very upsetting situation of having to look after my mum of 93 when she fell and broke her hip and wrist; I found

the staff very helpful and understanding of all my mum's care and needs; the staff were also very kind and caring to myself as well.


I would not have any hesitation in recommending Blue River as a first-class care provider.

I was so pleased with the carer(s), especially the live-in carer, whom we had for six months, and when she was away, her stand-in. The care they gave mum was excellent, especially as my mum's needs were constantly changing. All the other carers who visited were kind and caring too.

My mum was given great care by everyone at Blue River, they allowed her to stay safe in her own home for a year with daily carers and then 24/7 before moving to a care home. Mum had a great rapport with many of the carers and I received support and help from management too. Blue River provided great
service and treated mum like family, I would recommend them as caring and compassionate people.
