I have received support from Alcester Home Care for twelve months starting at a time when I was suffering from depression. My carer helped me through this difficult period and continues to provide assistance to me. She now has a set routine for her three one hourly early morning calls without referring
to me for any guidance. In short, I find at the age of eighty-four, I am not sure I would be able to live on my own without her support.

Mom has been with Alcester Home Care for nearly two years now since my dad passed. She suffers from dementia but she can still live independently with the help and support of the carers who come in every day to look after her. Without them, it would have been extremely difficult for Mom to be independent.
The
carers are fantastic, so friendly and encouraging. I would definitely recommend the services of Alcester Home Care.

Alcester Home Care have provided home services to my brother for nearly a year now. He has a brain injury that affects his memory and needs help with day-to-day housekeeping tasks. The staff are helpful, professional and really friendly and my brother feels comfortable with all of them. Naturally, there
were a couple of teething problems, as there would be with any new setup, but the local managers have been enormously helpful and very accessible in getting minor issues sorted. I honestly feel I would recommend this agency to anyone who needs care in their home based on the service we have received. Thank you

Alcester Home Care looked after my mum for 3 years from January 2020. I couldn't visit mum during the pandemic so the carers did everything for her - shopping, laundry, putting out the bins to be emptied, as well as the usual personal care and assistance with food and medication. Mum stayed well throughout
the pandemic, a testament to the professionalism of the carers. Mum had very little mobility, but she was encouraged to get out of bed and her chair as much as possible. Her skin remained in good condition, thanks to the carers applying barrier creams every day. All the carers were bright and cheerful, raising mum's spirits by their visits. I found the app on my phone to be very helpful to see how mum was doing at each visit, especially when I couldn't visit. I would recommend Alcester Home Care.

The manager and her team have looked after Mum for 18 months. Mum has advanced dementia, her health is deteriorating and she is bed-bound. Everyone is excellent. They show great professionalism, dedication, kindness and understanding. The schedule of visits takes account of Mum's care needs and daily
routine, robust safety checks ensure that carers are supported in their handling of medicines and equipment, and liaison with the NHS Continuing Healthcare Funding team has been very well managed. The carers are well-trained, confident and highly skilled. They show great sensitivity to changes in Mum's condition, look after her extremely well and their visits brighten her day. They draw on their knowledge and experience to alert me to any health concerns so I can follow these up promptly with the doctor or district nurses. The commitment to high-quality care makes a significant, very positive impact on Mum's quality of life and brings great support and reassurance to her family.

I engaged the services of Alcester Home Care to help my Dad who had increasing mobility problems. He always spoke highly of each carer and said how friendly and easygoing they were. Nothing was too much trouble. I don't live in the area but found members of staff to be efficient and friendly either
by phone or email. They also worked around me for appointments as to when I could be there. One of the carers called me to say she thought Dad looked quite poorly. Unfortunately, he passed away a few days later but without that call, I wouldn't have known how poorly he was and I was able to arrange for him to see a doctor and be with him for the few days before he passed away. One simple call meant the world. Thank you.

First-class care and nursing service. From the initial assessment to subsequent twice-daily care visits, we were very impressed with the high standard of nursing care mom received. All tasks eg. medicine distribution, showering, washing care, meal preparation housework were all done competently and
with care and genuine friendliness. I was impressed also with the management style, all our requests for changes and additions to the service were acted upon promptly and positively. We were always promptly kept in the loop with any changes that the Agency had to make due to unforeseen circumstances such as staff illness. Would fully recommend Alcester Nursing Care to look after your loved ones, they gave us great peace of mind at a very difficult time.

Alcester Home Care provided care for my dad for just over 2 years. It allowed us to keep him safely at home for as long as possible. Dad was reluctant to accept help at first but the carers were friendly and encouraged his independence where possible so he soon grew to appreciate their visits and it
provided us with great comfort to know he had regular checks from professional carers. This was particularly helpful during the lockdown period, we would have struggled to keep him safe and healthy without them. I would like to give a special mention to the field care supervisor, who has been very supportive throughout. She responded to any specific requests we had and helped us enormously when any medical challenges arose. Having the app to be able to see what specific tasks had been carried out or any particular needs identified was also a really helpful tool. Overall I would thoroughly recommend the services of Alcester Home Care. Thank you.

Mum has received fantastic service and continues to do so. Alcester Home Care have organised for the same carer, when possible, to visit Mum, so she has developed a strong and trustworthy relationship with her. However, all the carers have been exceptional.
When Mum has needed additional care, that

I would like to praise the carer for her excellent care she delivers to my mother. Mum always lets her in and makes her feel like a friend is visiting rather than a carer. The Care Coordinator has always been very supportive when I've ever had to contact the office.

Alcester Home Care have assisted my mother with her personal care once a week since November 2020. My mother has enjoyed the female company and the chance for a chat. My mum has found the carers to be warm, friendly, helpful, and very caring. My mum is especially appreciative when she can have the same
carer for several weeks running. As a daughter, I have found the staff in the office to be exceptionally helpful and responsive when we have needed to make changes.

I could not wish for a better service from Alcester Home Care. The carers go above and beyond what is expected of them. When their duties are completed they spend the remaining time chatting and providing pleasant company for my mother. After each visit, an app on our mobile provides us with an outline
as to how the visit went. This is very reassuring as we live some distance away. All in all, we could not be more grateful, thank you.

I contacted Alcester Home Care when I urgently needed help to look after my Mother. Their immediate, reassuring, friendly response meant I had the help I needed very quickly. After a strong initial reluctance, Mum came to look forward to the carers' visits. They were all lovely and it gave me great
peace of mind to know they were there for her. I was able to see how she had been during their visits through an app. Mum decided to 'go it alone' again now she is feeling better. Having carers has given her a new lease of life! She loved to chat with them and I know she will miss their company. I will have no hesitation in asking for their help again if needed in the future.

Alcester Home Care have provided an excellent service to my mother. My mum lives in a flat in a retirement apartment block and has daily visits from care visitors to provide some social company, and to perform any basic household tasks etc that she may need help with. Her care visitors are friendly
and encouraging to her, and the management staff have been very useful and constructive in talking to me to help arrange the best care arrangements for her. They have especially done a great job this year (2020) coping with the pandemic situation and continuing to provide care visits despite all the lockdowns. I think they provide a very high standard of service and I would certainly recommend to others that they consider Alcester Home Care if they are looking for a home care visiting service.
