We have been with your company since last November. We are very happy with the care your company has given us. It was the best move for us when the social worker asked us if we would like to have your company on a long-term basis. Also, I am grateful for your help whilst my husband is away in Australia,
as I can honestly say, I don't think I would have coped without the support your carers give us.

I really don't know what I'd do without A1 supporting Dad and me. All the team are very caring with Dad, so takes some of the stress off my shoulders. I am reassured that Dad's caring needs are attended to in the morning, and he always looks forward to the daily visit and the company of the lovely carer.
It's such a huge thing for Dad to be able to stay in his own home. Can't thank A1 enough!

My father-in-law has used this service for just under a year now. He has had consistent carers who have each provided a great service. Every one of them has shown him kindness and respect during their visits. The office team have contacted me on several occasions regarding my father-in-law, and they
are also very supportive with him and us. We also like to have a weekly rota, which I print out and give to him. This enables him to know who is visiting and the approximate time of the call. Thank you for all of your support.

A1 have been caring for a close friend of mine for the last 6 months and I can not fault the service they provide. Everyone I've met and dealt with goes the extra mile and it's more than just a job for them, they really do everything possible to look after my friend and keep him as happy and comfortable
as possible. A member of staff in the office always keeps me updated and gets things done. And the team leader is absolutely amazing along with the team she supervised.
Come to A1 and you can relax knowing your loved ones are in very good hands.

A1 provides an outstanding service. The carers are dedicated, professional, kind, effective, and successful within a demanding situation of complex physical, mental, and emotional care needs. They manage that really difficult feat of achieving the necessary care without removing the person’s dignity
or rights. They engender that all important trust which is the basis of successful outcome. Through that trust, in concert with confidence, kindness and sheer ability, they create a happy and safe atmosphere. The carers are supported by a management which listens and works so very hard to get the correct fit of carer/client. They respond quickly to short and long term changing needs. What is also very important is the absolute emphasis on standards and discipline in terms of procedures, etc. Thus they achieve the ideal of addressing care needs and at the same time delivering that care with compassion, kindness, and sensitivity in a happy and trusting environment. They are superb.

I am very pleased with A1 Care. Everyone I have dealt with has been exceptionally caring and helpful. Even when there have been hiccups in the care, the situation is always resolved in cooperation with myself on behalf of my 84-year-old mother, who has quite advanced Alzheimer's.

Mum has been cared for by a number of agencies before A1 who are by far the best in every aspect. From the initial planning meeting which was thorough and respectful, they put Mum in the middle of all decision-making. The supervision and management oversight has been fantastic and the review genuinely
sought to improve the care she receives.
All the carers really know what they are doing and go the extra yard to make sure Mum gets the best care.
I cannot recommend A1 more highly.

I have been extremely pleased with the care afforded to my mother. The carers were so kind and helpful with everything they did for her. The carer who stayed with me whilst we waited for the doctor was wonderful and I can't thank her enough. Unfortunately, my mother has passed away but I will be forever

The care provided to my mum by A1 was first class. The staff throughout from office management to individual care staff were professional and friendly to both my mum and wider members of the family during these difficult times. A1 got on with Mum extremely well and made her life a lot easier especially

I have used A1 Care (BCP, Wareham and Dorchester) for my father since February 2022 when he became completely bedridden. My father is now 104. His carers come at times to visit us. Two carers at approximately 9am to 930am for half an hour to give him a full body wash, put cream on his body, change pads
etc. Two carers come at approximately 6pm to 630pm for half an hour to change pad, any personal care etc. The carers are very good, know their job and are kind, gentle and caring. Dad loves to see them, they bring jot and laughter as well as care. They become friends too. Excellent.

My husband has benefited from having fixed, reliable visit times from the carers who have established a bed wash routine so that he always knows what is happening. They chat to him socially and also warn him when he will be washed next.
I find them courteous, knowledgeable, empathetic and professional.
I wish I had found them earlier! For myself, I have appreciated the weekly rota so that I can be ready for them and the office has been most helpful when I have had a query.

The in-hospital contact went smoothly and when it was clear my dad was not so capable I was contacted and provided background and context. Once the care package started it was great to see the daily contacts via the app and be able to comment if needed. The ability to communicate via phone/email/app
via the call-out number was also very reassuring. I met several members of staff and found all to be competent and pleasant.

My father was reluctant to have care initially, but the staff were very friendly and patient and he soon got used to them calling and looked forward to their visits. They definitely helped him and he enjoyed their involvement in his life at a time when he was needing more support.

I would highly recommend A1 Care to family and friends. The team was able to arrange overnight care at short notice, were very accommodating when changes needed to be made and we always felt we were in safe hands and that we would not be let down. This put our minds at ease at a very stressful time.

A1 Care looked after my mother from 28 Jan 22 through to 12 Feb 22, the date my mother passed away. The A1 Care Manager from Wimborne was brilliant and so compassionate, professional, and efficient. All of the carers were excellent, thorough, supportive, and very kind to my mother and she loved them

We thank A1 Care immensely, especially one member of staff in particular for all the fantastic care she gave to our mum with personal care and getting the infection sorted on her legs extremely well. She was extremely fast-acting when problems were happening with mum's falls and leaving the gas on within
her bungalow. And for getting the emergency services involved as quickly as she did in a very calm and professional manner, we cannot put in words how wonderful she was in every aspect of our mum's care. Mum became very calm and settled with her and liked her very much. We would also like to thank the other carers who attended to mum's care in December 2021. We would highly recommend A1 Care.

I productively and efficiently plan my priorities and strategically waste no time. I maintain positive relationships between all staff and customers in both high & low-volume and fast & slow-paced operations. I joined the A1 Care team due to a change of circumstances happening worldwide during the pandemic, affecting my professional development, I understood straight away that I would need to start and readapt to a new industry.


I started my employment as a care support worker, from the beginning of my employment I realized that having my vast experience in a different industry is not going to pause or affect my development and progress as a professional or individual, on contrary this industry will allow me to use or transfer all my skills that accumulated over the years, providing me a much better work-life balance. My mature and reliable approach from the beginning of my employment as a care support worker led me to CARE and liaise, communicate efficiently and accurately between the management board, service users, and my care support worker colleagues. After 3 months probationary period, spent on the front line and leading by example, I was invited to an interview by the management board, and have been offered the Finance Administrator position.


The position which I’ve had proudly accepted and felt comfortable with. Possessing a combined analytical and intuitive approach to strategy development and implementation, I was overseeing the financial activities of the business, administrative and clerical tasks, being responsible for the accounts of the organization, and also performing budget and payroll dealing, inventory management, invoicing, and customer service.


After a period of six months as a finance administrator, I slowly started to implement my well-developed abilities to identify, analyze and mitigate risks, map out decision-making processes and deliver solutions to the management board.


All of these excellent track records of leadership, interpersonal skills, and effective team management based on trust, integrity, and transparency, led me to my most recent promotion, as A1 Care Finance Manager

Job Title: Welfare Manager

I moved over to England from Italy. I started my career in the catering industry to help improve my English which helped me immensely.


I then felt confident to further develop my skills and branch out into the care industry. I became a care support worker over 16 years ago, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Whilst in this position, I completed my NVQ level 3.


I was promoted to senior carer in a different company. I then completed my team leader NVQ and care certificate assessors’ award. I was responsible for conducting reviews, spot checks and assessing new carers care certificates, including observations. Also, addressing and issues with the client care plans.


It was within this role I developed my managerial skills and established a natural talent. I assisted with developing an effective induction program which helped ensure the professional development of each employee.


I worked closely with social workers, occupational therapists, council brokerage teams and other health care professionals. I had a proven ability to monitor and review care packages.


When I joined A1 Care I was employed as a Care Certificate Assessor and supervisor, my role gradually developed to my skills, and I am now the Welfare Manager. I am thrilled in this role as it gives me a happy balance of managing the carers and being in regular contact with our clients.

Job Title: HR & Marketing Manager

I had the privilege of joining A1 Care back in 2021 after a very interesting and constructive meeting with the Director.


Working in the care sector for the past 3 years prior to this, gave me the opportunity and understanding of how both Domiciliary and Live-in Care are crucial to the local communities.


With my background in managing both online and retail sales, merchandising, and at times at the forefront of customer service, it was only natural for me to take the role of the Hr & Marketing Manager.


With my education in the field of audio and visual concepts, I could also see potential for areas of growth within the industry.


This included and not limited to engaging with local communities via Social Media, connecting with local charities and services, connecting with both our service users and care workers, and with their consent, allowing me to tell their stories via visual and video content.


As HR & Marketing Manager, this will allow me to bridge the gap between the care sector and effective marketing strategies, which is essential for any organization's growth and impact.


I see further exciting opportunities ahead for A1 Care, and I am proud to be part of it, and the family we call A1 Care.
