A1 Care responded immediately to my request for care. They were diligent in taking details of my mum's life and care needs. The carers have been brilliant, they are warm, friendly, and respectful and work hard. Mum says she couldn't ask for nicer carers. It's a very personal service, almost like family.

A1 Care provided a daily service for my wife for one year until July 2021. Their attention to her hygiene and comfort was excellent. One worker who attended my wife for the entire year had a good rapport with her, was very reliable and along with his colleagues, always treated her with the utmost respect.
During the care period, covid was a major concern. A1 always showed awareness, with staff in attendance wearing masks and respecting the necessary hygiene requirements. A1 Care deserves our sincere thanks for their reliable and professional service. We wish them well for the future.

Three weeks in of having carers to look after my parents and we have a fairly stable team in place. It’s great we get a rota sent Sunday evening (or Monday) which helps routine at home.
Everyone that has visited has been friendly, kind and respectful. Some were favourites and some didn’t quite gel
so well but then in life do you gel with everyone you meet, I think not. The office team were very accommodating in helping to get the right people and now we have a great team that are building a good rapport with Mum and Dad.

Very happy with the service provided for our mum. It is very difficult that none of mum's family live close to her so it is comforting for us all to know that mum has daily carers to help her and very importantly give mum her medication. We know also that mum is very fond of one carer in particular

Following a stroke, my Nan was sent home with a care package from A1 care. We have been more than happy with all aspects of the care provided. Ever since A1 Care started working for my mother last year (2018), my Mum and I have had nothing but excellent service. They are very caring, professional, but personal skills have made Mum totally at ease. I wish that we had used A1 Care for the last 2 years instead of who we did use. Mum had a real
liking for her carer. Thank you. Sadly Mum died last Thursday 7.40 pm but peacefully in her sleep.

We have found the nurses very attentive and do an excellent job giving my wife a wash in the morning. They ensure the hearing aids are clean and working. Also, the teeth are clean and hair brushed.

We are very pleased with the standard of care and attention received. My father is adamant that he wishes to stay at home come what may and the care package provided by A1 is key to that. We do not have experience of any other care provider but do not intend to change provider as long as the quality
service is maintained.

Participated with the management board in interviewing, hiring, and training employees. Use company reports to analyze sales, gross profit, and inventory. Worked with and through management to develop and implement actions that protect company assets and profitability.


I productively and efficiently plan my priorities and strategically waste no time. I maintain positive relationships between all staff and customers in both high & low-volume and fast & slow-paced operations. I joined the A1 Care team due to a change of circumstances happening worldwide during the pandemic, affecting my professional development, I understood straight away that I would need to start and readapt to a new industry.


I started my employment as a care support worker, from the beginning of my employment I realized that having my vast experience in a different industry is not going to pause or affect my development and progress as a professional or individual, on contrary this industry will allow me to use or transfer all my skills that accumulated over the years, providing me a much better work-life balance. My mature and reliable approach from the beginning of my employment as a care support worker led me to CARE and liaise, communicate efficiently and accurately between the management board, service users, and my care support worker colleagues. After 3 months probationary period, spent on the front line and leading by example, I was invited to an interview by the management board, and have been offered the Finance Administrator position.


The position which I’ve had proudly accepted and felt comfortable with. Possessing a combined analytical and intuitive approach to strategy development and implementation, I was overseeing the financial activities of the business, administrative and clerical tasks, being responsible for the accounts of the organization, and also performing budget and payroll dealing, inventory management, invoicing, and customer service.


After a period of six months as a finance administrator, I slowly started to implement my well-developed abilities to identify, analyze and mitigate risks, map out decision-making processes and deliver solutions to the management board.


All of these excellent track records of leadership, interpersonal skills, and effective team management based on trust, integrity, and transparency, led me to my most recent promotion, as A1 Care Finance Manager

Veronica De Crescenzo

Job Title: Welfare Manager

I moved over to England from Italy. I started my career in the catering industry to help improve my English which helped me immensely.


I then felt confident to further develop my skills and branch out into the care industry. I became a care support worker over 16 years ago, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Whilst in this position, I completed my NVQ level 3.


I was promoted to senior carer in a different company. I then completed my team leader NVQ and care certificate assessors’ award. I was responsible for conducting reviews, spot checks and assessing new carers care certificates, including observations. Also, addressing and issues with the client care plans.


It was within this role I developed my managerial skills and established a natural talent. I assisted with developing an effective induction program which helped ensure the professional development of each employee.


I worked closely with social workers, occupational therapists, council brokerage teams and other health care professionals. I had a proven ability to monitor and review care packages.


When I joined A1 Care I was employed as a Care Certificate Assessor and supervisor, my role gradually developed to my skills, and I am now the Welfare Manager. I am thrilled in this role as it gives me a happy balance of managing the carers and being in regular contact with our clients.

Job Title: HR & Marketing Manager

I had the privilege of joining A1 Care back in 2021 after a very interesting and constructive meeting with the Director.


Working in the care sector for the past 3 years prior to this, gave me the opportunity and understanding of how both Domiciliary and Live-in Care are crucial to the local communities.


With my background in managing both online and retail sales, merchandising, and at times at the forefront of customer service, it was only natural for me to take the role of the Hr & Marketing Manager.


With my education in the field of audio and visual concepts, I could also see potential for areas of growth within the industry.


This included and not limited to engaging with local communities via Social Media, connecting with local charities and services, connecting with both our service users and care workers, and with their consent, allowing me to tell their stories via visual and video content.


As HR & Marketing Manager, this will allow me to bridge the gap between the care sector and effective marketing strategies, which is essential for any organization's growth and impact.
