The services are provided by Care Professionals who are trained to provide a high-quality care service and who are employed for compassion and professionalism.

Care Professionals are carefully matched with clients and provide a minimum of one-hour calls allowing them the time to complete daily tasks whilst also building strong and lasting relationships with the clients.

I have used this service for the last 3 months and found it to be very good. The carers are all reliable, kind and sensible. Having the app is useful to see what is going on. The reports show a high level of compassion, to... and understanding. The admin staff have also been helpful, especially when
plans have had to change at short notice.

The standard of service is very good. I live 350 miles from Mum so am dependent on the girls for my eyes and ears and honest reporting which they do well.
I wish I could write into the App too to help me message them, as I currently have to email the office.

Extremely good, kind and helpful staff, always on time. Nothing is too much trouble. The girls go out of their way to anticipate, manage and adapt to everything. Very helpful and kind during the demise of my husband.

Absolutely fantastic service! We engaged with the Care Coordinator and her team last month and after several meetings/assessments and form filling my mum has started her care today. She called me to say how pleased and happy she was with the lovely carer. She showered, changed, had a coffee and got
her bed made in 1 hour. In her words, she said she felt like a different woman and by 9 am was ready to go out. After many weeks of anxiety, mum can now relax and look forward to her day. Thank you, team, I am so pleased!

I look forward each morning to having my carer. Each one is cheerful and the majority of them have a wonderful smile. All of them are efficient and treat me with dignity. Which I appreciate at my age - 96. I like learning about their families and activities.

We chose Home Instead on the recommendation of a friend who had found the service to be extremely good. We have also been really happy with the service provided. A small team of carers visit and take such good care of my husband and offer me wonderful support. All of the carers are very friendly, caring
and efficient and we feel very lucky to have such a professional and kind team supporting us to take care of my husband here at home.

The level of home care is excellent. The carer not only gets everything done but is a real friend to my mum and she looks forward to her visits. Literally, nothing is too much trouble. It's also reassuring that things are followed up by head office. The meeting with the m one of the staff was useful.

My mum has three main carers that help her get up and go to bed. They all treat her with care and kindness to ensure she is happy and settled.

Happy with the care given over four and a half years from the Home Instead.
We have been blessed to have continuity with the same familiar faces which has been essential to my husband's needs having had Alzheimer's and vascular dementia for 9 years.

Home Instead looked after my mother in her own home for several years. They were fantastic. The staff were genuinely interested in her well-being. They washed her, showered once a week, sorted meals, washing up and washing. They were very organised and if anything g was running out, they would let you
know in advance so you could do something about it. Mum got to the stage where she could not continue at home otherwise she would still be enjoying their help and company. Wholeheartedly recommend them.

My father is receiving daily visits from his Home Instead team and they are so supportive and helpful. He wants to remain as independent as he can for as long as he can and their support enables him to do that. Their visits see to his needs but also provide good company for him and have helped restore
his well-being after he had to move out of his home of many years. My family and I are very grateful to have their help.

Home Instead are the reason my Dad is still able to live at home is his beloved bungalow. I'm an only child trying to hold down a full time job whilst trying to assist all my father's needs. Without Home Instead, he would have been in a full-time care home by now which would have been against his wishes.
He wants to stay in his home until he gets carried out in a box, that's his words, not mine. We are doing everything we can to make that a reality. The care team are fantastic and deals with my father as a friend rather than a client. They look after all his needs including doing his shopping for him when I'm unable to do that. I thank the team for their continued support and for making my Dad's wishes come true. It can't be easy, as he is in mid-stage Dementia and has no comprehension of anything other than what the weather is like. Thank you, Home Instead for supporting me and my family. You make a huge difference to our lives and more importantly, my Dad's life.

My name is Emma Bennett, I have 32 years of experience working as a nurse in the NHS. I have worked for Home Instead since 2018, which means I have 36 years experience of working with people across all age groups.


I now work with the Care Professional Team at Home Instead where I share the role of training and the development of our Care Professionals and key players. This includes supporting them with their inductions and then ongoing support and training. My main role is ensuring and maintaining compliance with Care Professional development and mandatory training, to both Home Instead and CQC standards.

Tina Broadbent

Job Title: Client Experience Team

Joined: 2020

My name is Tina Broadbent. I started with Home Instead in February 2018 and have been in care for about 4 years prior. Upon leaving school I trained as a Chef and worked in the catering sector for just over 10 years. I went back to work in the hotel catering trade for 9-years at the Walnut Tree Inn. During my time there I got chatting with a local customer who was looking for care for his Daughter with complex needs. I loved my time being her PA.


This gave me a completely new angle on care in the community from young adults to our ageing society that want to remain at home. I came to Home Instead after working for another care company and I haven’t looked back. I started as a Care Professional out in the community and had my own lovely clients. I quickly got recognised in the office for other useful qualities, and I’m now full-time in the office.


I’m always thankful to Home Instead for believing in me and seeing my potential.


Outside of work, I have two daughters and my Husband. I enjoy cooking for friends and family. I also enjoy the Gym, walking with the family and the many Dogs we have between us all.

Hi, my name is Hannah Rootes. I have worked for Home Instead Northampton since August 2020 and have recently joined the Client Experience Team. A big part of my role is that I go and meet new clients and create their Care Plans so that we and our Care Professionals can provide the best level of care possible. When I do this my focus is always, on what our clients want to achieve and what is important to them- our clients are at the centre of everything I do. I have lived in Northampton all my life and have enjoyed growing up here. In my life, I have seen all aspects of care, where before working for Home Instead I cared for the family. Due to this, I use all of my experience as a family member of a loved one needing care and as a Care Professional to ensure all of our Clients receive the best care we can provide.


When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my daughter. I also love to read good books and go for a scenic walk where I can take some photographs with my DSLR camera.

I have been in healthcare for 18 years and have loved every minute of it. I have worked with children, young adults, and the elderly, all within Care Homes and Domiciliary settings.


I started work in Domiciliary care as a Carer, upon returning from maternity leave I was promoted to a Senior. I later progressed to being a Trainer, Scheduler, Deputy Manager and now Recruitment Manager with Home Instead.
