Within the packages of care, the team provide a full range of options from as little as 30 minutes a day to 24 hours live-in care and even ad-hoc calls because at Nexus Care Services they tailor bespoke care around your preferences, needs and requirements.

There are no hidden charges or fees, no additions, or long-term contracts and they only ever require 24 hours’ notice to increase or decrease your care or should you feel the services are not satisfactory, terminate the care.

I feel reviewers should speak freely and honestly when writing, and not be subject to undue constraint. It goes without saying that, in a public review, it is both inappropriate and improper to identify individuals or their specific areas of responsibility. That said, I give my unfettered opinion of
the service provided to my friend who has been under Nexus Care Services for more than a decade.
The quality of care and physical support provided by Nexus is of an exceptionally high order. My friend has been treated with the utmost love, care and support, especially during recent months when she has needed an additional layer of emotional support, following upon the death of her younger sister. All Nexus staff have been exemplary. Without hesitation or reservation, I commend them. I would love to have them look after me one day!
Why is the administrative section so unwilling to enter into discussion or correspondence with those of us who also care?

I am very familiar with the client and have been and continue to be proud of the service the carers provide. Indeed, they provide much more to her than a service and the compassion and love for her is clear for all to see. I acknowledge that you have given the management team ( of which I am part of), a low score and I am saddened by this but accept your reasons as to why. I know you would have liked more involvement and communication in some of the most recent matters but unfortunately, there are just some things that we are prohibited from discussing with anyone but immediate family. I do take on board your points though and will try and learn from them in the future.

I have recently needed to appoint a carer to my 94-year-old, profoundly deaf mother-in-law. This was to ensure she is able to remain in her own home and surroundings. Having previously worked for and with the owner many years ago, my family and I chose Nexus Homecare. We had the pleasure of meeting
the manager within four days of my initial contact. He met us and my mother-in-law at her home to establish our requirements and her needs. He was incredibly attentive, caring, helpful and informative. The service has been exceptional and the appointed carers have listened and are slowly building a mutual trust together with my mother-in-law to ensure her well-being and comfort in the ‘Winter’ of her life. We are thankful and grateful for the heartfelt service and care provided by a team of people in order to permit a certain peace of mind to a family who live far away from their loved one. Long may it continue during these harrowing times.

At the start of the current Covid19 situation, I was so anxious about my mom being in her care home I made the big decision to move her in with me. I then set up care at home package with Nexus. She had two split hours a day, they helped with dressing in the morning and breakfast then came back for
lunchtime. I was at work most of the time so my mom was on her own at home with the carer visiting and my mom suffers from dementia, so her behaviour and tone can sometimes be a little disproportionate but the carers handled this in their stride with a smile and a reassuring way. I couldn't have been happier with the service she received and how her care was communicated with me if I was out at work. Knowing she was eating and drinking and had some company means the world to me. I can't see a time where I'll want Mom to go back into a care home knowing that I can extend her hours as we need, as her needs change. Thank you Nexus team.

I have worked for Nexus for the last two years and progressed from being a part-time coordinator to managing a team of coordinators. I have been working in healthcare for the last 5 years, in a diverse range of industries (NHS, private, pharmaceutical), and I bring to the company a Media degree and extensive expertise in communications and problem-solving.


My role within the company apart from managing the team of coordinators is to manage the rotas for our Sutton Coldfield clients and carers and to make sure the day-to-day business runs like clockwork. My team is essentially the first point of contact for our carers and clients, so we pride ourselves on the customer service we provide, as well as on solving any urgent problems that might arise daily.
