We required a very quickly implemented live in carer for my mother following a fall, which was efficiently organised and managed by Home Instead. The carer was professional, empathetic and considerate. The two weeks period worked well, we were able to stabilise the situation and my mother was able to
regain her independence.

I am a solicitor and power of attorney for a client who wants to stay in her own home as long as possible. Home Instead has been excellent in the service they provide. My client is very happy with the care she is receiving. She enjoys going out on walks and for coffee or lunch and the carers regularly
plan different trips out so she is leading as interesting life as possible.
The carers will regularly keep me up to date and their App, which allows me to check how visits have been, is excellent and very easy to use.
Management are very responsive and helpful to any queries I have.
I would definitely recommend Home Instead.

Home Instead carers came 3 days a week to make lunch for my mother, also emptied the dishwasher, took out rubbish, and cleared up. They made great meals and were all really friendly, caring, positive ladies.

Home Instead have been absolutely amazing, I contacted them as my Dad has Dementia. My Father and Step Mum needed help a few hours a week. The Registered Manager at Home Instead was compassionate, caring and understood the situation. It's been very difficult for my father to accept that he needed help
but she reassured him also did regular checkups. I really can't thank them enough.

We would recommend Home Instead for care of loved ones in their own home. We weren't your average household yet our needs were recognised and met from the start and the carers who became a part of our household were always on time and nothing was too much trouble. Setting everything up was very easy
and additional requests or changes that we made were all accommodated. We'd like to thank the whole team for all they did for us.

Reply from Romesh Dharmasingham, Director at Home Instead (Warminster and West Wiltshire)

We are so glad that you and your family were able to see the benefits of our person centred approach to care. It was an honour to be involved in the care for your family and our care team feel privileged to have been involved and we look forward to helping in the future if the need arises.

We met the care manager at my mum's and from the start she and the support workers have provided great help to my mum, taking her out socially and to appointments and the company has helped my mum after my dad passed away and also dealing with the covid pandemic aftermath.

Mum is given the consistency of carers which enables both parties to build positive relationships, the carers get to know how mum likes things done and they know where everything is. Communication between the family and carers is positive and during a recent stay in a care home for mum her carers popped
in to visit her most days which she welcomed and provided her with some familiar faces in an unfamiliar environment

Home instead are always reliable friendly and professional. During a recent difficult period while Mum was ill the carers were very supportive offering to attend meetings with OTs etc with us and also visiting Mum while she was in respite care rather than at home ensuring she had familiar faces and
continuity of care.
Communication with Home Instead is excellent, they make sure we are fully informed about Mum's care and make us aware of any changes in Mum's health. They also listen to the concerns of family which is so important for mum's wellbeing. I would be confident in recommending Home Instead to others.

Home Instead providers have responded to our needs efficiently and treated our mother with consideration. They respect how difficult the transition is to becoming cared for and are mindful of maintaining her dignity and feelings that she still has some kind of autonomy over herself.

The service and care provided to Mum was 100% reliable, and we always felt confident that Mum was well looked after.
We felt that some of the care professionals made a genuine effort to get to know Mum and showed real compassion and empathy.
On one occasion during a medical emergency, the whole team
made sure that Mum was supervised until I arrived, as both my sister and I were away.
Overall Home Instead was a care provider which worked well for us, and we would recommend them.

One of the things that makes Home Instead stand out is the reliability of the carer visits. The girls who care for my husband are always on time and there is never a sense of rushing him so they can dash off. My husband is treated kindly and efficiently in a calm and friendly manner. Always! It makes
for a very relaxed and cheerful start to the day for which my husband and I are both very grateful. The response from the office is always timely and supportive. Nothing is too much trouble. I am very glad to have found them!

Very caring ethos and company culture, which extends to all staff members - those in the office and the carers themselves. Everyone goes out of their way to understand your needs.
We spoke to at least a dozen care companies, but once we had met with Home Instead there was no question of going with
anyone else. They stood head and shoulders above other care companies.
We would recommend wholeheartedly.

Although my dad doesn't think that they do much for him, it is always obvious when he has had their company, thay make him more animated and not spending days without seeing someone.
They are thoughtful, friendly and keep me informed of any concerns.

My elderly brother lives alone, is forgetful and has difficulty with balance and walking any significant distance. After a fall late in 2022 I decided that visiting carers were needed a couple of time each week to ensure his safety and help return him to his usual activities.
Home Instead proved easy
to contact, friendly and efficient in their dealings with me and most importantly respectful of my brother's wishes. Carers have visited him for the last 3 months and he now refers to them as his 'friends that call' not carers. In addition to ensuring his safety the carers remind him of his medicines. take him shopping, to the bank and to several of the local coffee shops. I am kept informed of his situation within hours of the visit through the Home Instead app. The last few weeks have seen major improvements in his overall health and well-being.
I can only thank the Home Instead team for being the primary catalyst in my brother's improving situation.

Home Instead have been providing my Mum's care for some years now which gives them a good understanding of her needs and personality. This is reflected in the personal care they give and the willingness to maintain a good and sympathetic relationship with her. The feedback is good which means we can
keep on top of things and be aware of any arising issues. I am very happy with the service they provide.

My father is living with Dementia and requires support to remain living in his own home.
Home Instead have been providing 3 visits a day to Dad since November 2022.
The carers are all brilliant and are great with Dad. They ensure he is up/washed/dressed, prepare his meals, facilitate his taking
medication, do his washing, give him conversion and companionship - they even walk the dog!
All their actions and observations are recorded on an app that the family can monitor, but if anything is amiss or they have any concerns they will let us know directly. The office team are also a pleasure to deal with and always respond to any queries or changes promptly and professionally.
From being very anxious about handing over day-to-day responsibility to ‘strangers’ as opposed to immediate family - we now feel that dads carers are an integral and essential part of his support team and almost an extension of the family.
Dad really appreciates them and we couldn’t do without them.
Thank you Home Instead!

With no family living near Dad (who has dementia and is very hard of hearing) and him wishing to stay in his home as long as possible, Home Instead has been a wonderful find. His carers are friendly, kind and helpful and ensure he is safe and well looked after. They also act as our eyes and ears keeping
us updated which helps immensely. There have been a couple of issues along the way but management have been very willing to listen and have dealt with them swiftly and professionally. Without the support of Home Instead Dad could not live his life the way we know he wishes to.

My brother has been well supported for planning his meals and shopping for a period of over 2 years. There have also been companionship visits during the pandemic to support him when the family could not visit. My brother values all these contacts very highly. These have helped him to continue to live
independently in his own home.

I have been very pleased with the care my parents are receiving. The carers are lovely, friendly and reliable. They provide personal care, home help, meals and medication prompting as well as company and reassurance. They have also been great at helping Mum to pursue her hobbies and take my parents
on small trips out which is fantastic. I would recommend Home Instead, they have been an ideal solution to my parents need for support in their own home and have been responsive to all our needs and requests.
