Dear Linda,
As you are aware, whilst providing care, we had a meeting with social services in regards to your attitude and behaviour towards our staff. Following the incident you refer to, we followed correct policy and procedures by reporting to safeguarding, social services and via our formal complaint process. The findings of the investigation were sent to you within 14 days of receipt. We tried our utmost to work alongside you, however, due to the irreparable breakdown in the relationship between yourself, care staff and HQ we felt that for the safety of both parties it was in the best interest of all involved to refer your care package back to social services, as was discussed verbally with you at that point.

Triband Care Services Ltd have followed all guidelines as published by the government and PHE since the very start of the pandemic. We have also worked very well alongside PHE, the Council and Social Services throughout - in fact, going above and beyond the guidelines and requirements. As a Domiciliary Care company it would be unfeasible, and an impossible task, to test care staff for this virus before every care call. Any care staff who have developed symptoms have immediately isolated and been tested - along with any staff who have not had symptoms but have had contact with anyone who has tested positive. This has been our procedure since day one. We have also ensured that we have carried out our own thorough track and trace where individuals have been infected. All staff have also been given strict guidelines on PPE. The safety of both our staff and Service Users is of the utmost importance to us and the well-being of all individuals is at the very heart of what we do.
