We have had carers for Mum for a year now, & they are very good, from the office staff who are always so helpful through to the carers, Mum is a lot better now than she was but we'll be keeping them on as its peace of mind knowing someone is going in everyday and Mum enjoys their company, they're all
lovely and nothing is too much trouble, they ring if there is a problem or they are going to be late and I can always get hold of someone at the office whatever time, we did have an issue with the times they were going in but after a quick review, everything is sorted and that is the nice thing about this firm, if there is a problem and you highlight it, it gets dealt with and sorted, most importantly Mum is now very comfortable with them, she found it a bit hard at the beginning as she is very independent but they have never been pushy and always patient letting her take things at her own pace, and communication is really good, so yes I would recommend Annicare to anyone.

Annicare came to our rescue through fast track funding,, and have been our saving grace,, from the staff in the office to the assessment dad had at home through to the fantastic carers, every single person we have dealt with has gone above and beyond to help, they have treated my father in law with
the utmost care, respect & dignity,, even making sure that mum is ok & myself,, before leaving, asking if there is anything more they can do for us. We can't thank them all enough,, 1st class service from all. Annicare you have the best Carers,, FACT!

I would like to thank you for the excellent care my dad receives from your amazing team at Annicare. My dad is 94 years old and very frail. He is treated with the utmost respect and dignity by all the care givers. Your office team are very understanding and have organised the care visits to fit in with
dad's needs.
Thank you to each and every one of you. You are making this difficult time so much better for not only dad, but also mum and the rest of us too. I don't know what we would do without you.

Annicare looks after my brother. The carers are very friendly and helpful. Even though they are so busy they always make sure he has everything and done everything for him. The lady from the office who I call if there is any issues, will come out and talk to use. She a lovely young lady and all ways
smiling and happy to help.

Easily bookable with a team of fabulous carers they tender to all the needs of my husband perfectly.
Highly recommend this company they deliver care with compassion and dignity.
The lady who arranges everything is excellent. It allows me as carer to have a respite break without having to worry.

After a short spell in hospital, my beloved great nan was discharged on end of life care and this was supported by Annicare. We found the adjustment to having carers visit regularly straight forward and with great communication. They supported not only my nan but us as a family, signposting other services
and things we may find beneficial. We were impressed greatly with the care received that when we needed, we increased the hours of support to allow my mum a break and ensure nan was kept safe at all times. I wouldn't recommend the Annicare team highly enough from the office through to the carers. Thank you so much!

My experience as an observer and a parent is very negative. I feel the simple requests from the client are ignored, eg. no male carers, not wanting to go to bed before 9.15 and not given enough time to toilet and no matter how many times these things are highlighted, it still happens. Eg. male carers
keep coming and they don't get in as management have been told. Complete waste of money and resources.
Coming to put a 50-year-old lady to bed before 9pm when she can't have meds until 10pm.
Basic PPE and infection control as requested by client and family mostly ignored.
Removing outdoor coats and jackets while working with client.
Not all girls, but enough to warrant concern for more basic training. Need to be reminded they could be carrying bugs fatal to next client. Thus hand washing, gloves and aprons essential for vulnerable clients.

Hello, we are sorry to hear of your experience with Annicare. I can understand your frustrations as a mother, and from your daughter's perspective. We have tried to accommodate all timing and gender requests where possible but as stated when we first transitioned from one carer to two, we could not promise no males. We would have loved to have been able to meet all of your daughter's needs, but unfortunately due to the way our teams work it's not achievable, which is why we stated we feel she would be best cared for by a private carer, or a smaller company with a smaller team instead, who would be more able to meet all of her needs. I can only apologise that we weren't the right fit, and I do hope you find a care provider who can meet all your daughter's needs and wishes. Thank you for your feedback. Avoid Annicare, if you want your loved ones to remain safe and receive professional care. My mum has Alzheimer's and her medication was kept secure in a lock box in the kitchen. One of the carers left the lock box unlocked, which resulted in my mum overdosing. This could have been fatal, if there had
been more medication but luckily for Annicare, there was only one full days supply left at the time. Furthermore, Annicare were being paid for 30 minutes care, twice a day. Most of the time, carers stayed for less than 1O minutes. They also gave my mum food that was not properly cooked, again due to the limited time they stayed. They also missed other tasks clearly outlined on the care plan. I asked for a full investigation, and have tried to chase this up but they have gone silent on me, so I'm just working out the best way forward. I really, really do not want anyone else to suffer at their hands.

Having to access carers was initially an overwhelming thought, but the care and support both my husband and I have received has been invaluable. Knowing they will be coming is reassuring and a relief that my husband is comfortable and receiving the care he needs. They always ask how I am and if there
is anything they can help me with. Overall I would recommend Annicare for treating us with respect and dignity.

Inconsistent care. Today, the carers were superb. Friendly, caring and kind. They talked with Mum and actually listened to her. They gave her a thorough wash in the morning. Some barely wash her at all. When I arrived yesterday, Mum cried, she told me that the carers are too rough with her and don't
wash her properly. It's also distressing for her not really knowing which carer is coming and at what time. Too many different carers. Today we had two very professional carers - the same at all 4 visits which was brilliant. Please treat Mum as if she were your mum.

All staff are friendly and come at regular intervals. Staff will go the extra mile and are there for client and family members. Staff seem well trained and caring. Im happy with the service and so is Mum, she looks forward to staff coming and enjoys a chat with them while they're working.

I am so grateful for the gentle care my father received at home in the last few days of his life. All 8 carers who visited him, including one especially lovely lady who stayed overnight twice, were highly professional and supportive. In being able to remain at home, my Dad had his wishes granted and
my prayers answered. Thanks to all involved, including the wonderful District Nurses who assessed Dad's needs, and the Hospice who sourced Annicare.

A hospice at home service appointed Annicare to administer palliative care to my wife who has now sadly died, the care afforded to her was first class, professional, caring, and very sympathetic to her needs, all the staff who visited were first class, but I would like to make a special mention of 2
members of staff in particular who were exceptional to the degree I would like to thank them personally for their consideration given to my wife.
