The Review Score of 9.2 (9.163) out of 10 for LJM Homecare Lincoln is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.
a) The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 4 Reviews in the last 24 months.
b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.3 out of 5 from 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.
The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:
a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.
The Average Rating of 4.913 for LJM Homecare Lincoln is calculated as follows: ( (21 Excellents x 5) + (2 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 23 Ratings = 4.913
b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').
The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)
The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for LJM Homecare Lincoln is based on 4 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 = 4.25
When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Managing Director, Registered Manager, Nominated Individual
Joined: 2014
My background is in nursing working in a number of different nursing environments. I started LJM Homecare Lincoln in 2014 because I saw a real need for quality, reliable, and individually focused care. My passion is being constructive in empowering individuals to be as independent as possible within their homes and giving staff the ability and confidence to flourish into the best version of themselves.
I believe in transparency, honesty, and people who genuinely have a passion for sharing my ethos as together we are able to achieve real improvements in social care and ultimately change the experience and quality of life for the service users.
I enjoy being involved in any form of fitness and am a regular charity fundraiser for St Barnabas Hospice. Whatever the challenge, be it a mountain or a mud run I am happy to take it on.
Job Title: Registered Manager
Joined: 2019
I started my care career in 2012 in the community, which has dramatically changed my views on life. I pride myself on being involved with a fantastic team delivering life-changing care to my local community. In my 10 years in care, I have achieved promotion to Registered Manager and can’t imagine a more rewarding job role.
My passions involve the daily running of the branch and I consistently strive to improve service users' experience, family involvement, and staff flourishment. My ethos aligns with that of LJM Homecare in its drive for continual improvement to achieve the best quality of life.
I enjoy challenging myself while raising money for St Barnabas Hospice. Such as when I took part in the ‘Don’t quit, get fit’ campaign and climbed Mount Toubkal where between 17 of us we raised over £40000.
Job Title: Assistant Manager
Joined: 2018
I started in care when I was 18 as a carer and worked my way up to Assistant Manager. I am immensely proud to do the job I do as I passionately believe in making people smile and creating an environment where people are proud to be actively involved.
My role involves overseeing the rotas and working towards getting your call times exactly as you would like them. I will also help communicate your requirements to the carers so they are aware of how you would like things to be done.
In my spare time, I am very much a home bird spending quality time with my family. For this reason, I understand the importance of your home is a safe haven.
Job Title: Carer and Recruitment Manager
Joined: 2017
I started to care as a support worker for young adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. I have now progressed to Carer Manager which I find rewarding as I feel on a daily basis I am able to support the carers in their role in order for them to provide bespoke care for our service users.
My passion is to support and create a team of carers who all have the unique skills to deliver individualised and high-quality care. My main focus is providing training and guidance to carers to maintain staff retention and the well-being of the team which ultimately leads to increased service user experience and quality of life.
I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends and as such passionately believe in promoting a positive work-life balance.
Job Title: Human Resource and Business Manager
My role is to ensure the smooth running of the business, to work behind the scenes is to ensure that the best possible staff are appointed, trained, and given every opportunity possible to improve and develop themselves to enable them to give the best possible service to our clients.
As an Assessor & IV, There is nothing more rewarding than giving someone a qualification when they lack confidence in their own abilities and showing them that anything is possible.
(Don’t hold this against me) but I also deal with the accounts and send out your invoices. I believe that you should get exactly what you pay for, and if there are any issues, I am approachable to discuss them and solve them effectively, efficiently, and fairly.
In my spare time, I enjoy training at the gym and pushing the boundaries on what I can do physically, spending time with my family and my 2 dogs Molly & Luci Lou.
I am a supporter of Ford Napa Racing in the British Touring Car Championships and enjoy attending the race meets and having a bit of friendly banter with my sister who is supporting the opposing team (Mandy).
Job Title: Clinical Manager
Joined: 2020
I started working in a care home whilst studying for my psychology degree. I found myself in a position where my mum needed care and I experienced care firsthand and saw both good and poor. This ignited a real desire to be part of the care sector and be at the forefront of quality care delivery.
My role as Clinical Senior Carer will see me supporting you with not only your everyday needs but also more clinical needs such as catheter care, stoma care, diabetes, and PEG feeding.
I enjoy my family time and work-life balance outside of work.

I believe in listening to our clients to understand them and their needs. I am grateful to work for a company that respects and cares for both its clients and its employees.
Though I began my working life in the RAF, I have worked several jobs and I hope to bring the ethics, morals and experience I have gained, to the role of Client Manager, to make LJM the best it can be.
In my personal life, I have a large family that keeps me busy. I enjoy family days out and sports. I also love a good puzzle and any kind of challenge.
