We had daily visits and were grateful for the help and assistance given by all the staff who attended to offer their care. It was a pleasure getting to know them all. They always made conversation and showed an interest in what was going on in our day-to-day lives.

LJM have been looking after my grandma for a while now and have always delivered excellent care. They look after her personal care which is always to a high standard, as well as dealing with her emotional needs. Every day they put a smile on her face. This has allowed my mum to take a step back from
her care and enjoy her own life more as we feel confident that Grandma is being looked after. The management team have always been great with us and fully supportive.
Very very happy with all aspects of the care Grandma receives from this company.

Reply from Stephen, Client Manager at LJM Homecare Lincoln

My husband's care was excellent. Staff were kind, caring and respectful of both my husband, myself and our home. They were professional and made sure he was always washed, and dressed and all his health and personal needs were met. The staff were on time, well presented and polite. Their care made it
possible for my husband to stay at home and to die in his home, where he wanted to be, thank you.

Reply from Danielle Swaby, Assistant Manager at LJM Homecare Lincoln

Thank you so much for your kind words. It was a pleasure and an honour to care for your husband, especially toward the end of his life. His friendship and yours meant so much to our LJM family, plus, the excellent cakes never hurt either! Thinking of you always.

They were always polite, understanding, kind and nice. They listened to what my wife said without patronising her something we both appreciated. When my wife sadly passed away they gave a huge amount of support to me, still do monthly coffee.

Reply from Lindsay Nearn, Managing Director at LJM Homecare Lincoln

Thank you for the feedback; it was a privilege to look after your wife and get to know you both. We are looking forward to our next coffee meeting.

There is a massive carers turnover, the time of your call change pretty much every day or at least the carers are late very very often. Some carers are very rude and unprofessional and the management is as bad as some of their carers, except a senior, but I am sure that I don't suggest this company
to anyone at all.

In February 2020 I collapsed at home with worsening heart problems and with a longstanding neurological condition. A pacemaker was fitted butt I developed another problem and it was agreed I needed respite care, rehabilitation was ruled out and so I was sent to a care home. After four weeks I came home
with LJM Homecare coming to look after me. With LJM's help, I have been able to stay at home. Over that time staff have changed, covid has made things difficult at times with people going off sick and travel can be difficult but someone has come at regular times to help me take medication. Since January 2022 I have been diagnosed with two more conditions and need some things done differently but have not been reassessed. I asked for light domestic jobs and this area is where discrepancies occur. Some carers are excellent but a few are not 'domestic minded' and sit and watch me eat, only after getting my medication ready - being satisfactory. Hence boxes below are not completed. I hope LJM will continue to care for me - I couldn't manage without you. It is only the very few that haven't taken on board my actual conditions.

I could not have managed without my carers. I am on my own and I have no family. The carers are like my family and they work and do whatever they can for you to tend to your needs. Being on my own I enjoy the company and new ones. Even if it's not for long. It helps break the loneliness. They care about
me and I care about them, all the careers and office workers who I know and some of them that help with care. They cost a lot of money but I need them because I am housebound.

So pleased with the carers who come to help Mum, they are all friendly and willing to do anything that is required. Always smiling and chatting to Mum and Dad.
It has helped me knowing someone is going into them and they are not on their own.
Thank you.

My background is in nursing working in a number of different nursing environments. I started LJM Homecare Lincoln in 2014 because I saw a real need for quality, reliable, and individually focused care. My passion is being constructive in empowering individuals to be as independent as possible within their homes and giving staff the ability and confidence to flourish into the best version of themselves.

I believe in transparency, honesty, and people who genuinely have a passion for sharing my ethos as together we are able to achieve real improvements in social care and ultimately change the experience and quality of life for the service users.

I enjoy being involved in any form of fitness and am a regular charity fundraiser for St Barnabas Hospice. Whatever the challenge, be it a mountain or a mud run I am happy to take it on.

I started my care career in 2012 in the community, which has dramatically changed my views on life. I pride myself on being involved with a fantastic team delivering life-changing care to my local community. In my 10 years in care, I have achieved promotion to Registered Manager and can’t imagine a more rewarding job role.

My passions involve the daily running of the branch and I consistently strive to improve service users' experience, family involvement, and staff flourishment. My ethos aligns with that of LJM Homecare in its drive for continual improvement to achieve the best quality of life.

I enjoy challenging myself while raising money for St Barnabas Hospice. Such as when I took part in the ‘Don’t quit, get fit’ campaign and climbed Mount Toubkal where between 17 of us we raised over £40000.

I started in care when I was 18 as a carer and worked my way up to Assistant Manager. I am immensely proud to do the job I do as I passionately believe in making people smile and creating an environment where people are proud to be actively involved.

My role involves overseeing the rotas and working towards getting your call times exactly as you would like them. I will also help communicate your requirements to the carers so they are aware of how you would like things to be done.

In my spare time, I am very much a home bird spending quality time with my family. For this reason, I understand the importance of your home is a safe haven.

I started to care as a support worker for young adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. I have now progressed to Carer Manager which I find rewarding as I feel on a daily basis I am able to support the carers in their role in order for them to provide bespoke care for our service users.

My passion is to support and create a team of carers who all have the unique skills to deliver individualised and high-quality care. My main focus is providing training and guidance to carers to maintain staff retention and the well-being of the team which ultimately leads to increased service user experience and quality of life.

I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends and as such passionately believe in promoting a positive work-life balance.

My role is to ensure the smooth running of the business, to work behind the scenes is to ensure that the best possible staff are appointed, trained, and given every opportunity possible to improve and develop themselves to enable them to give the best possible service to our clients.

As an Assessor & IV, There is nothing more rewarding than giving someone a qualification when they lack confidence in their own abilities and showing them that anything is possible.

(Don’t hold this against me) but I also deal with the accounts and send out your invoices. I believe that you should get exactly what you pay for, and if there are any issues, I am approachable to discuss them and solve them effectively, efficiently, and fairly.

In my spare time, I enjoy training at the gym and pushing the boundaries on what I can do physically, spending time with my family and my 2 dogs Molly & Luci Lou.

I am a supporter of Ford Napa Racing in the British Touring Car Championships and enjoy attending the race meets and having a bit of friendly banter with my sister who is supporting the opposing team (Mandy).
