Thank you Pauline for your lovely comments. The carers don't feel like they are at work when they are with your Mum and Dad. It really is like home from home. We don't do things for them, we do things with them and this makes our visits so rewarding. Supporting what they can do for themselves and assisting with tasks that are just a bit too much. Yes, the early morning hospital visit was a bit of a challenge but how could we resist not seeing your Dad's face as he woke up at 05.30 am! Glad it all worked out well. Our visit communication technology certainly brings us together and it's great that you can see in real-time what has gone on at the visit each day, even though you are a good many miles away! Stay well and hope to see you soon again.

Thank you, Susan. Yes, early days at the moment, and we appreciate how difficult it is to begin with allowing caregivers to support. The trust and rapport are building and routines are forming. Hopefully, we will give you peace of mind that daily needs are attended to and companionship brings enjoyable conversations along with meal prep and enablement to support with personal care. Carers are enjoying getting to know your Godmother, reminiscing back to her days as a translator they are now all learning French!
