I have nothing but praise for this team, both in the office and the carers. They looked after both my Mum and Dad, who had very different needs, with respect and dignity and also with a cheery smile and friendly banter. They were open to changes in the care routine when necessary and communication between
the team and myself was always good. I found the app invaluable as I could see how each visit had gone. The team were fantastic throughout and I would highly recommend them.

Many thanks for your kind review. Looking after Mum and Dad was our absolute pleasure. We miss them dearly but are happy that they are getting on so well.

I use Ecocare for my mum who is 86 and has a number of health issues and anxiety which means she rarely gets out. The carers are excellent and she likes them all. The back-office staff are great and can be really flexible from week to week with visits. A fantastic company without a big corporate feel.

I use this agency at the weekend for my parents who both need care. The girls are like a breath of fresh air who can comfortably take over the often challenging care of two people with different needs of support.
They are friendly, efficient and supportive of myself as an exhausted live-in carer.
The
charge is lower than other agencies and they pay their staff more! Being a smaller agency they are more attentive and can respond quickly to any change of needs. I am looking to increase my hours with them. The trust gained from me is also very important.

EcoClean are providing care to my centenarian father and have proved to be very helpful in working to develop a care plan that meets the demands of a sometimes stubborn and difficult customer and in using staff who he can get on with. The manager and her team have been very good at adapting to changes
in circumstances and has been very effective in dealing with the occasional emergency. The family have worked successfully with EcoClean to make sure that my father's needs are met and, while we note report, that some of their processes require improvement, we have not found any issues in practice with the quality of care.

I asked EcoClean to attend to my elderly neighbour who is now 99 and did not want to go into a home. She needed more care and attendance, nothing is too much trouble for them. They now come in 4 times a day and the staff are absolutely fantastic, the management keep me informed should my neighbour fall
and keep me up to date with her day to day health. Since they have been caring for her, she has been extremely happy and content. I really could not recommend them enough.

We asked EcoClean if they could support my father coming out of a recovery centre after a number of falls. We had expected to have to wait for a considerable time but they were able to help within a week and provided help four times a day for half an hour or 45 minutes a time. The carers have been brilliant
with my father, very friendly, making him feel like they really care and encouraging him to eat and drink. They get him up, showered, dressed and get his meals, they will shop, taking him to appointments and basically do anything to make his life as comfortable as possible. The manager has also been really helpful in providing urgent support to enable carers to spend additional time with my father at very short notice.
The cost of this has been a fraction of what it would be if my father was in a residential home and I am sure the care couldn’t be any better.

Ease of setting up care plan was excellent as was the flexibility of available care.
Great efforts to understand the history, life and the needs of the user.

I have found EcoClean to be very reliable. I have never been left alone when a carers was needed.
I have been surprised at how many people have been involved in providing the service. Clearly, there are challenges in attracting and retaining reliable carers. The big turnover means that some are very
good, others not as good, making an overall assessment difficult. The standard is always acceptable but naturally, I am disappointed when really good people move on.

We always try our hardest to ensure staff continuity as we know how much this means to our service users. We will continue to work on this area of our service, to recruit and retain the best carers we can!

EcoClean staff are always pleasant and helpful to deal with. EcoClean provides good value for money.
Management are extremely good in emergencies. They have never let us down, eg going out of their what to come when everything was disrupted by snow.
The most challenging aspect is the difficulty of
ensuring continuity of staff, an issue we suspect is endemic to the sector. Considerable input from family members eg in preparing weekly meal plans and ensuring shopping, reflects this, helps keep the system running relatively smoothly.
