Home Instead was an outstanding service for my Dad who has Parkinson’s. The carers were all extremely professional and kind to Dad. They made him laugh and really took the time to get to know him. He was always treated with dignity. They were never in a hurry to complete the care and took their time
to ensure all care was completed to the highest standard. When we realised early on that more care was needed and therefore more hours this was no problem and care was provided immediately. I can’t praise the carers and office staff enough. They really were a super solution during a very difficult time.

Home Instead provided me with an hour's personal care every morning to help me get washed and dressed. This was arranged through the social work departments. The care was excellent. The staff were efficient and kind. They always offered to do more within the house eg change sheets, prepare a sandwich,
sort and put away washing. I would recommend this service.

I have a feeling of enormous relief that I now have consistent help at a time that suits our life. Everyone in the Home Instead Senior Care team is friendly, practical, shown care and compassion towards my husband who needs total care and has the same concern for me. All come in time and seem in no
hurry to rush things. We are receiving the best care we could wish for.

Ab fab! Ever since the initial contact we have been very impressed with the professionalism and approach of ALL the staff at Home Instead. The senior staff who made the initial visit to meet our aunt have ensured that she has been allocated carers with whom she has bonded and who are now welcomed on
each visit. The carers themselves have also taken account of her needs and on their visits, apart from preparing meals, they spend time chatting to her and taking part in activities that she enjoys. Because of vascular dementia, our aunt's comprehension and ability to communicate are severely impaired but the carers patiently work with her and regularly try out new games and activities. They are very proactive and will deal with laundry if required as well as shopping for items such as bread, milk etc. We also appreciate the regular off-site reviews with both carers and managers where we can assess and review the care package that is in place and suggest changes that will make it even better.

The first part of my career was in the Life Science Industry, supporting companies that developed some of the medicines, vaccines, and diagnostics that our clients depend on. When we opened the Renfrewshire & Barrhead office of Home Instead, we committed to providing our personalised approach to Companionship Based Home care to a wide audience in Renfrewshire and Barrhead.


Our ambition is to be known as a company that cares about our clients, our Care professionals and our reputation.
