I arranged carers to visit my Mother twice a day - starting last November. It has been incredibly helpful and has taken so much pressure off the situation.
They could not have been better - they are absolutely wonderful. The care they show her and the trouble they take to do everything to help is
very much appreciated.

Home Help Me Care have looked after my mother for several years. The level of care provided has changed with her needs and has allowed her to remain in her own home. I cannot fault the care provided. The carers live up to their title, have gone out of their way to provide the little things that mean
a lot and have been there at short notice for the bigger things, such as emergency trips to A&E.
As we are separated by over 400 miles, I would have been unable to both look after Mum and to keep her wish to remain in her own home without Home Help Me Care. I rely on and trust them to let me know of any problems that might arise around the house which, however minor, would otherwise be very difficult to rectify at a distance. The team provides good, regular communication which is vital.
Home Help Me Care visits give me peace of mind that Mum is being looked after, is safe and is still living happily in her own home.

Home Help Me Care has to be applauded for providing the care and comfort to our mother that every loving and concerned family wishes, but do not have the skill to give. Our mother, who initially was reluctant to agree to professional care, was quickly appreciative of the way her carers became a part
of her daily life. A shared interest in our mother's history, books, writing, family photographs and stories, and trips to the hairdresser all helped. Her final hours - in her own home - were made painless and peaceful. Mainly thanks to the training and experience of Home Help Me Care.

Thank you for your lovely comments. Your mum was one of our very first clients over 4 years ago, and we had such a special relationship with her, taking her to the hairdresser every Saturday without fail and getting her messages - not to mention getting to know both her lovely daughters over the years. It was great being able to provide her with more support when she felt ready. All her care team really enjoyed visiting her, with her cheery smile and that fabulous bright wardrobe, some days we cried with laughter at her fabulous stories. We were honoured to be able to share in her 99th birthday celebrations. Laterally, when we started reading her memoirs with her it sparked a light of the vibrant, wonderfully funny lady she was in her younger years. It was our absolute honour to support her to be in her own home for the last few days. May she rest in peace, best wishes Rickie and the care team

The staff are exceptional, very trustworthy, kind, caring, timely and provide exactly the service requested. Management has a very strong knowledge of how their industry functions and work closely with social services/NHS/local doctors as and when required. Home Help Me Care is very proactive and has
been able to provide emergency care on a few occasions when it was really needed. I cannot recommend this agency more highly.

Thank you for your lovely review. It is great that alongside our Social Service & NHS colleagues we managed to implement your dad care and support package within 24 hours, as well as the carer respite for your mum. It's so tough when families are hundred/thousands of miles away, though we know you and your brother were able to be in touch with them in so many other ways and they really benefited from that.

Covid has been challenging for so many people, especially older people and we are delighted we were able to get your dad enjoying his trips out where possible. It was great getting to know you all. Best wishes to you all, Rickie and the team.

All the people we had contact with at Home Help Me Care were extremely positive and helpful at a very difficult time. They were very professional in the care assistance they gave to my mother and we would not hesitate to recommend them to others in a similar situation.

We first used Home Help Me Care for companionship for my mother after my father passed away in 2018. After consultation with mum's social worker, we moved the care package over to Home Help Me from January 2019 until mum went into a care home in August 2020. I can't thank the staff enough for the care
and attention given. The team gave me regular feedback on how mum was doing. I was visiting her each evening and I could easily access the notes in her file and other notes were left with anything I needed to buy. Mum was also taken to appointments if I couldn't manage and we always managed to sort things out between us. Mum was taken out for wee trips and I know she really enjoyed getting out and about. I really appreciated the effort that went into helping her stay at home as long as possible. Mum suffers from vascular dementia with Alzheimer's and it was with a heavy heart that she moved into residential care. I would recommend Home Help Me unreservedly.

Thanks for all your kind words. Both you and your brother were tremendous in all the love and support you gave your mum and continue to do so. We're delighted to have been able to support you all, especially during Covid. The team loved visiting her and we are pleased she has settled into her new home. Your mum is much blessed to have two such caring sons. Best wishes Rickie and the care team.

The team at Home Help Me Care are excellent and a pleasure to deal with, from the managers, the carers themselves and the office staff. They are professional, friendly, considerate and most importantly very caring. They have been amazing in helping me to look after my Dad especially since his care package
was increased following his discharge from hospital. This was done without fuss and took into consideration Dad's needs and also mine. Despite regularly seeing Dad myself, I am kept fully up to date on his health and welfare and the girls know when to call for medical assistance which has probably prevented him from being re-admitted to hospital. Dad is very quiet and has trouble with his memory but I have noticed the girls know what his interests were prior to him becoming ill and they seem to be able to chat to him easily about things, which I know he enjoys. I can't thank the girls enough for their extra help with household chores. They are brilliant. A five-star service!

Home Help Me Care have been providing home care and support for my mother for the past 4 years following her Alzheimer's diagnosis. The standard of care has been outstanding. The carers are reliable, cheerful, kind and considerate to my mother's needs. The input provided has been gradually increased
to suit my mother's requirements in a sensitive and individual way to provide excellent and totally 'bespoke' care. I am happy to recommend such an excellent care provider.

We love the stories of yesteryear she shares and the twinkle in her eye. We look forward to continue supporting her and getting her back out and about which we all know she loves so much. Best wishes, Rickie and the care team

An extremely professional company all staff were trained to a high standard. Me, my brother knew we could relax that our mother was being cared for by a group of highly trained professionals.
I felt our mother got her dignity back when we started using Home Help Me Care, the staff didn't wear uniforms
it gave her the perception that the visitors were her friends which was the case as they would take her out shopping and out for coffee, which was a great service.
The caring staff got to know our family and we worked together to improve mum's life until we were advised by the caring staff the best place going forward was a nursing home.
The daily visit reporting was to a very high standard and allowed family and care staff to communicate together and give mum a good standard of life with her dementia.
Thank you to Home Help Me Care staff for the care over the years.

Thank you for your kind review Gordon, it was great pre Covid to be taking your mum out and about, she liked a good sing song in the car! It was great when she heard from you every day. Understandably, Covid has been very difficult for many people and we are happy to see now being supported in her new home. She is blessed to have such lovely attentive sons. Best wishes Rickie

I have always been very impressed with Home Help Me Care. The owners are totally committed to their business of caring for their clients. They are very flexible and always want to provide you with the care you ask for. The last time I have used them was to take my elderly mother to a hospital appointment.
They looked after her very well and ensured she was taken her appointment on time, supported her throughout the examinations and finally brought her home. I also previously used Home Help Me Care to care for my father who was in the later stages of Dementia. My father got on very well with the carers who came on both a regular and ad-hoc basis. It allowed my mother time to leave the house and have time for herself. The ability to have ad-hoc carers at short notice was very helpful. They totally changed my parents' quality of life. I have no reservations in recommending Home Help Me Care.

When my late father’s cousin’s health began to fail and she required care at home we contacted Home Help Me Care. Our relative who was 93, had never had care in the home before and was reluctant to accept help. But the carers were kind and supportive and she quickly became used to them and enjoyed their
visits. During the first lockdown, the carers were invaluable doing shopping and picking up medication, when the family couldn’t visit. Even though they were extremely busy they never missed an appointment and knowing they were going in was a huge relief. Without the carers from Home Help Me Care, our relative would not have been able to stay in her own home as long as she did.
