Linmar Care is a modern, compassionate, home care provider in North Essex who received 'good' from the Care Quality Commission in their first inspection in June 2019, in all five inspection areas.

Linmar Care is a family run business with a clear vision to provide not only Client-Centred care but a great working environment for their team of Care Assistants.

Linmar Care provides bespoke Home Care Services to older people to enable them to remain safe and happy in their own homes.

The area they cover is from Colchester to Mersea Island, Tiptree, Marks Tey, Copford, Coggeshall and Kelvedon with all the villages in between.

Everyone is treated as an individual and time is taken to get to know the client and develop an individual care plan that fits their specific needs and preferences.

A proactive team who like to have special days to bring fun and laughter to all, such as the Alzheimer's Society Elf Day where two of the Care Assistants spent the day visiting clients dressed as elves with hand made gifts for all.

This was an amazing day which was appreciated by all the clients and also raised money for the Alzheimer's Society.

We have found LinMar to be a caring professional service provider. The team are always willing to help make Dad’s life more comfortable and to ensure his independence, dignity and daily routine are maintained. Any queries are handled promptly and the management team are happy to discuss options and/or
offer suggestions to move things forward. It is a huge relief to know you have someone trustworthy and caring to look after a parents needs when you can’t be with them.

We have found Linmar Care to be an extremely personable and supportive company to work alongside as our mother's condition (vascular dementia) deteriorates. Their level of communication and integrity has always ensured that when there are difficulties, we've been able to resolve them in a professional
and caring manner. We have really appreciated the level expertise from the manager who understands how difficult it is to care for a loved one with dementia and has been willing to go above and beyond expectations when situations become are challenging. We would highly recommend this company.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care provided by Linmar Care Ltd. We have been using their services for 3 months during lockdown and the support from the carers has made a big difference to the wellbeing of both my wife and myself. The girls are fun, caring, inventive and have made my wife interact
much more than she does when it is just the two of us. Nothing is too much trouble and we both look forward to their visits every week.

Linmar Care staff are competent, professional people their interventions enabled my mother to remain in her own home rather than seek a residential placement abiding her wishes. Their day-to-day management of her welfare and emotional support greatly confidently comforted us as her health declined.
Their care was highly complimented by her GP.
