I have only been with Clarity Homecare for a few days, but the staff and carers are really lovely. They are the best care company I have ever had. The carers are so caring and supportive with everything, and if I need to ring the office, the staff are really lovely as well.

We've only had 4 visits. We're still getting to know each other and how we work, what needs to be done, and how we intend to do it. The member of staff is polite and willing to help where ever she can.

My daughter has needed help with her care for almost a year now. Initially, it was only for night care but since July 2022 she has needed help in the mornings with personal care. Due to the complex disabilities, my daughter has she now has two carers to help with her wash and hoisting her into her wheelchair
if she is getting up. She has a sore area on the upper right leg which I dress as per the district nurse's instructions, she also has an area on the lower part of her leg which we have to watch carefully as she has had cellulitis recently which meant a stay in hospital.
With all the care that my daughter needs I have found the carers willing and respectful, they usually try to communicate with her as she loves to chat with people.
I find the office manager very helpful especially if I need to make any changes to the calls.

Everything from the initial appointment to arrange care through to the actual care has been relaxed and informative. The carer is polite, very well turned out, is always helpful and wears the appropriate protective clothing at all times.

All staff had a very caring and sympathetic manner and good at their job. On very rare occasions they were rather late in coming which at the time caused a degree of anxiety. Because they were good, one forgave that.

From the start, the care and support given to my mother has been excellent in all respects.
Arrangements were straight forward to make initially and communications have been east and open since. Having the same carer has been a great advantage.

The carer is very pleasant and hardworking.
Does exactly what she is meant to do plus a bit more ie washing up/tidying if required.
Willing to adjust times when required to fit in with mum's arrangements.

Having contacted the provider and delayed my decision for other reasons, the provider came to our house to check whether we needed her or not. We did. She has been assisting with the care of my terminally ill husband with kindness, knowledge and respect and helping with household chores for 1 hour twice
a day. She is very professional in her work and also has a very personable manner. We are delighted we found her and would not hesitate to give her an excellent reference.

I have only had the service for three weeks and is my first experience. It was recommended by a friend and I am extremely happy with the care/support which leaves me feeling happy for the day.

Our relationship with the carer who comes every morning is always on time to bathe and dress my wife is very good. Her manager and herself are always very helpful and can't do enough for us. They are wonderful people and a credit to Clarity Homecare Ashford.

Job Title: Director

I’m Vivian and I am the Director of Clarity Homecare Ashford. I have a background in Nursing and Midwifery and I qualified as a nurse in 2005, where I worked in different areas of nursing, including Accident and Emergency, Paediatrics, Neonatal and Theatres. After a bit of side nursing in the wards, I then decided to become a Midwife and proceeded to help bring many healthy babies into the world.

I decided to build and run a Homecare business when I did a shift on A&E and saw an elderly lady being brought in by her carers. I saw that she looked really unkempt and had pressure ulcers and it was a wake-up call for me to make Homecare better as I didn’t feel that anyone with such services should come into the hospital looking like that.

That’s when my journey began in Homecare services and I haven’t looked back! My goal is to grow the business and help more people who need our brilliant homecare services so that they can remain happy and healthy in their own homes.

In my spare time, I like to swim, cook, go on road trips, and spend quality time with family and friends. I’m also thinking about my next move about taking over the world…!
