We use a digital system called PASS, the care plan and all the tasks are recorded and accessed by care staff via their smartphone. A pivotal part of providing excellent quality care is documenting (briefly) what has been completed at each care call. This is something that is done for all of our clients at all care calls and forms an important part of care delivery to ensure care is delivered safely and as per your wishes. Our team worked extremely hard to support you and your mum at all times. We acknowledge that the comments made reflect the difficult circumstances you experienced with your mum, however, we do not believe that this review is in any way a true or fair reflection of the care and support that we provided. Our team of carers all undergo rigorous recruitment checks, training and ongoing supervision and we only employ people who are friendly, competent and have a very caring nature. At Radfield Home Care Wakefield and Dewsbury we have very strong values that focus on empowering our carers so that they will go above and beyond when caring for our clients. We do not believe our care service was adequate, poor value for money, or had been led by poor management. We are proud to care and believe that caring for another person is a privilege and we take this position of trust very seriously. Gemma commenced her career as an administrator and soon became involved in supporting the delivery and coordination of care.
Gemma very quickly progressed into her first management role in 2014 as a service manager. After taking a short career break to spend time with her family, she stepped back into a management role a year later, gaining her CQC Registration. Her career in care has offered her great flexibility to balance work with family life.
