I would like to say a huge thank you to the managers, the coordinator and all of the Radfield carers who provided 24-hour palliative home care for dad during his last few weeks.
I am so pleased we found Radfield Home Care as all the carers treated dad with kindness, compassion and the utmost respect.
They supported us as a family too during a very stressful time and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend the manager and the team of carers and would use them again if needed.

Radfield Home Care provides a very caring client-focused service. The carers are kind and respectful showing patience and understanding of the client's needs. Communication from both carers and management is excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending this team.

Jackie, co-owner and director of Wakefield & Dewsbury holds a wealth of experience in the social and supported housing sector and has cared for a wide range of client needs throughout her career. Jackie has also managed a Sheltered Housing Scheme for a number of years providing independent living, care and support to older residents and this experience has driven her ambition and inspiration to provide an outstanding care and support service to older people in their own homes.


Jackie, also a wonderful mum to her two sons Tom and Sam, has always had a passion for making a difference to people’s lives. Jackie explains, “Owning and operating your own business enables us to have control over the quality of services we provide. My husband and I have both previously worked for employers where we have had limited decision-making power regarding the quality of services that were provided and by running our own business, we will have full control over the strategic direction of the business and ensuring that the quality of services remains outstanding.”

Gemma commenced her career as an administrator and soon became involved in supporting the delivery and coordination of care.


Gemma very quickly progressed into her first management role in 2014 as a service manager. After taking a short career break to spend time with her family, she stepped back into a management role a year later, gaining her CQC Registration. Her career in care has offered her great flexibility to balance work with family life.
