The council arranged six weeks reenablement care for Mum back in March, provided by Best Care Liverpool (BCL). Once she moved to self-funding, we had no hesitation in retaining the services of BCL.
There is the occasional rotation of teams - our professional carers need time off too - but Mum is always
treated with care and dignity and smiles and laughter. We love every one of them.
As Mum's carer, BCL supports me too. I am offered advice, safe ways of helping Mum, flags to look out for etc. I feel we're all part of the same team, with Mum's best care in mind. Me and Mum wouldn't be without them now.

I am pleased with the service that Best Care provides but have given 4 out of 5 as the care staff seem to be rushing off lately and forgetting to do certain checks/ jobs for Mum, for example, this morning she was left without her blanket and the window was open, and so she was feeling cold for 2 hours.
I did say to Mum if that happens again to phone Best Care and I know someone would call and sort it for her.

Best Care is exactly that, they provide the best quality of care for their clients. They are all very friendly, and every one of the carers always greets Mum with a happy smiling face. They are very approachable, kind and respectful and treat Mum with the care and dignity that every person deserves
whether elderly or not. I would highly recommend all the team from the carers to the office staff who deal with any queries promptly and efficiently. I can honestly say we are more than happy with the service we receive from Best Care.

My mum has dementia and has suffered a stroke. I don’t know how I would care for Mum without the support and help we receive from all the Best Care staff. Nothing is too much trouble, they are so professional, well-mannered, friendly, kind, polite, and helpful and treat Mum with dignity when washing

Absolutely disgusted with the care they are supposed to provide! My dad has dementia and parkinsons and is immobile and incontinent. I am constantly getting calls from the carers saying they have left dad and not given him meds, cleaned or changed his pads or put him in bed etc because he refuses. He
has dementia! aren't these supposed to be trained to deal with this type of patient? I shouldn't have to be continually rang to help them do their job! Would not recommend this company to anyone. Train your staff to do the job they're supposed to be doing! We have now got our dad into a care home and I am more relieved that they will no longer be coming to supposedly care for him!! At one point he was left from 7pm till 10 am with a soaking wet pull-up. They don't stick to their schedule as they should. I get they had other calls to attend but that's not good enough! They have no empathy or genuine care for their service users. Avoid at all costs!

Hello, the main issue we have is continuity. As my wife has dementia having the same carers is a must.
When new carers come it causes stress to my wife.
When the same carers come for example the two polite carers. This makes a massive difference as she can relax and have a laugh etc. Also, we don't
need to tell them what to do.

Wow where do I start, my mum has the utmost pleasure with all of her carers, she had broken her hip previously but didn't have ultimately the fantastic care she receives now after breaking both of her femurs. My mum is 86 years old, one word amazing, the care, love and kindness shown to my mum when
the carer came this morning with one other they noticed straight away Mum had an infection, they waited for the ambulance to come, asked if there was anything they could do and waited until Mum went to the hospital. Because they were so diligent Mum has antibiotics and is on her way home, just brilliant thankyou!

Carers are always prompt, helpful, polite, sensitive and friendly. Some have very heavy accents and can be difficult to understand. Less good service from the office. When I asked to change the time I didn’t get a callback and the time wasn’t changed (despite being told it would be).

The carers always treat my husband with dignity and are friendly. There have been times when they've left flannels in the bowl instead of putting them in the laundry basket, the fridge door was left open and we had to dispose of the contents and buy them again that has happened 3 times since last October.
They have occasionally forgotten to dispose of the bags that the incontinence pads are in either left on the floor or hanging by the bed which is unacceptable as we have a 4-year-old living with us. I've also noticed that some of the calls will say that have been here for a 30-minute call when they can't have been here more than 5 minutes in and out.

Best Care looked after my dad who was terminally ill with lung cancer. His wish was to die at home with his family around him. He was discharged from hospital and the carers were already waiting for the ambulance as it arrived at the house. They were a real godsend. All his carers were gentle, maintained
his dignity and treated him with the utmost care and respect. Sadly, my dad passed away this week, but I can honestly say that Best Care went out of their way to make sure Dad's needs were fully met so he could pass away comfortably.

It's always nerve-racking putting the care of a loved one in the hands of others. Best Care Liverpool have been amazing. The carers are professional, well trained, compassionate, understanding, helpful, friendly, and most importantly, put the service user at the heart of absolutely everything that they
do. They primarily take care of my mum and her health needs, but they also chivvy her up, make her laugh and smile, and treat her like the valuable and entertaining person that she is. I feel extremely lucky to have them as a part of our lives. Thank you to you all.

Additionally, I have attained a Level 4 qualification in business and leadership, further enhancing my skills in these areas.


For the past five years, I have had the privilege of being a part of the esteemed BCL organization. Throughout my time with BCL, I have consistently demonstrated my commitment to delivering exceptional care and promoting the well-being of those in need. Recognizing my capabilities and dedication, I was recently promoted to the role of manager, a position I have held for the past seven months.


As a manager, I take great pride in leading a team of compassionate professionals, fostering a positive and nurturing work environment, and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
