The company regularly failed to provide the care necessary, and even had carers providing my Dad with bowls of beans for food. He had dementia, they regularly failed to wash him for weeks and their excuse was my Dad with dementia, and brain damage was the fault. They left him soiled on many occasions,
and advised they would send better staff or do proper training. This never happened. Avoid at all costs. Companies like this should not be allowed to exist.

Hello Sir, It is very unfortunate to get such feedback from you about the care we delivered. We supported your dad since 2023 and had cared for him irrespective of the challenges. The aggression the carers had faced over the years and how we ensure to accomodate this to the extent that the social service made assessment for double up care just for the safety of the staff, which i believe you were aware of. No carer should be abused, or have things thrown at them trying to do their job. He was verbally and physically aggressive towards the carers, throwing his zimmer frame at them and saying he will kill them if they go near him. Its unfortunate you feel the way you did, but it would have been better if you also wrote that family took over at some point and couldnt support him, the family requested Ornate to come back and we cared for him with respect and accomodated him until the last day. As a business, we will keep doing our best to support the clients to the best of our ability.

I wouldn't use this company ever again, they are unprofessional, do not engage with client, cannot use equipment properly the list goes on and on.
Had 2 meeting with Management and Social Worker, both agreed they needed retraining but it didn't happen.

You would do better to put your loved one in a kennel, than allow these cowboys near them. They rarely have the same person attend and when they do they send foreign girls so young they get embarrassed undressing you. They arrive when it suits them, not you and will lie when questioned as to the actual
time 07.15 amazingly becomes 08.00 am. They are rude, and ill-mannered and expect you to fall into their system rather than they meet your needs which is what they are paid to do. They have a few decent girls who actually do care and do a great job but they are very much the exception and not the norm. They are all foreign with the sole purpose of getting themselves and their families into the UK. Do not let this company in they are not good people.

Hi Garry, it is a shame you felt this way about the service we provided to you. We have supported you since Dec 2022 and we believed we had a good working relationship with you. We understand that having new staff could be challenging, but due to the nature of the job, people leave or change roles and as such we need to recruit and train new competent staff. All our carers are trained and competent carers. We acknowledge that some of the carers are foreign nationals, but that does not define their competency and ability to do the Job. We wish you all the best and we will continue to improve, taking all feedback into consideration.

What an absolutely fantastic bunch of staff they have! My father has 4 visits a day and they are brilliant with him. They tend to all his personal hygiene needs, showering him a few times a week. I generally leave everything out for them to access easily. The staff are kind, caring and very thoughtful.
They always ask if anything else needs doing. It’s hard as they’re all so busy but they always go over and beyond to make sure Dad is comfortable and has everything to hand. The manager has even been to tend to Dad when the carer couldn’t call one morning. They’re reliable, professional and having the app on my phone is great too as you can see when they’ve been in. Definitely recommend.

There is no organisation. Different carers sent on most visits, not many of them know how to cook meals so be prepared to buy pre-prepared meals so they can just heat up, or a piece of toast. Nothing exotic like an omelette. Anyway that aside, this company gave notice to the commissioning team without
notifying me so when they did their weeks notice, Mum had no carers as nobody had replaced the package. The people in charge of the rotas etc. do not have the experience of managing people or the needs of the user.
I would not use the company as they just bring stress and inability to give what they should as an approved care agency.
