Willowstone's passion is to keep people living independently at home for as long as safely possible and treating clients with dignity, empathy and compassion. Willowstone works alongside clients, their family members and professionals involved in their care, to create a bespoke care package to suit their individual needs.

Willowstone provides a small team of regular carers per client and hour-long calls as a minimum because they believe that relationships and independence can't be built on anything less. At your choice, family and friends can be kept up to date with your progress throughout the day, by alerts sent from a modern live care plan that carers update on each call.

Willowstone are diligent in their recruitment and training process - to make sure they employ carers with high standards, the in-house team (no external staff or agencies are used) undertake extensive reference checks and DBS (police checks) that are on the update service. They also provide staff with in-depth training and shadow shifts to make sure carers are always working at a high standard.

Willowstone employs carers who are local and recognise that care doesn't just mean caring at home. Just because you may need some assistance, this doesn't mean you have to stop doing the things you love. The carers at Willowstone encourage independence and are more than happy to take you out to events, social gatherings, and local groups they may enjoy.

The level of care my husband has received has been first-class. He has been treated with dignity, respect and kindness, nothing has been too much trouble for his carers, they have exceeded all our expectations. The staff over the phone and management have been most helpful and caring too. As a wife

Excellent care provider, both management and staff are very approachable.
Having a copy of the weekly work schedule is a great benefit as you know who will be attending. Everyone is friendly, respectful, reliable, honest and sympathetic. A great team.

My experience on the whole is very good with some carers being better than others obviously. It's very easy to pick out the more experienced ones. What I dislike greatly is some of the younger carers spend 10 minutes attending to the patient and the rest of the allotted time sat in our kitchen peering
at mobile phones. Surely this exceptional length of time cannot be work-related.

From the first time I met with a representative of Willowstone Care, I knew that my mum was going to be in safe hands with this company. What a professional, caring team; each member of which went above and beyond the call of duty always, but especially when my Mum was in the final weeks of her life.
The love, compassion and tender care the carers, and the management team showed, for Mum and for our family at this most difficult time was truly outstanding. We knew in our hearts that everyone involved really did care about Mum and about us. They were always punctual, professional, loving and so gentle and caring with Mum, respectful of her needs and her wishes and listened to us, Mum's family, to learn all about her and what sort of person she was before her illness took over. My husband and I work in the care industry, travelling all over the country, visiting different care homes and believe me, I never thought I would be able to write a review like this about a care provider.

The management and carers have provided an excellent service to my Mum since she needed extra help. They have been so caring and compassionate, nothing is too much trouble. It enabled her to stay in her own home which is exactly what she wanted. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Willowstone to others.

In my mum's words, "I can't fault them; they are friendly and put me at ease". Knowing my mum is happy with this, I feel reassured that she is getting a good standard of care, which is so important to us as it is palliative care. My grandad really didn't want carers, he wanted me to carry on looking after him, but after our meeting with the registered manager, he changed his mind. He realised what a great thing it would be and he was right. My grandad had become very lonely during the lockdown and depressed, but after a few
visits from his carers, he is used to seeing different faces and enjoys the company. His house is always clean after the visits and Grandad has a smile on his face. Thank you.

My father who is a late stage Alzheimer's and vascular dementia patient has been using Willowstone for a few months now and I honestly cannot recommend them highly enough.
The improvement within my father since we moved from the previous care company has been astonishing. The level of care is far
above what we were expecting and they are putting my father's needs at the heart of everything that they do without compromise.
Willowstone have ensured that my father is able to remain within his home for a long time to come. The professionalism and diligence of all carers ensure that my father is safe and could not be better cared for anywhere else.
I would recommend to anyone requiring care to make contact with Willowstone. Exceptional care without fail at every visit.

Willowstone was our choice of a few candidates to look after our parents. The owner of the company came across as very professional and personable and because of her nursing background, we decided that Willowstone was the company we would use.
During the first month of engagement, they have been everything
that was expected of them. The visiting nurse has been very kind and friendly and has made our parents very assured.

The professionalism of the staff and standard of care provided were exceptional. The manager’s team were friendly and engaging throughout the period of care. The help and assistance all night for two weeks when I recovered from an operation was so well carried out.
Following on, we had two mornings a week to help out. The help and care could not be faulted and I would recommend the care provider to anyone.

Thank you for caring for my family as if they were your family. Genuine, caring, comforting and professional.
Staff who go above and beyond and put simply, Willowstone care about care. The manager and her team have enabled my mother to remain at her home surrounded by her family and friends whilst
receiving supportive care. The Birdie app was very useful in keeping the whole family updated on my mother's care as it happens. Highly recommended team.
