Sterling Standard Care staff have been outstanding!
The carers are always courteous, supportive and respectful to our mother and her condition.
The rapport that our mother has with the carers is very endearing and I always feel that the carers are able to accommodate our mother's needs and support
the family who wish to support and care for our mother.
All carers have handled challenging situations with professionalism and patience.
It's never an easy decision to look for and incorporate external care for loved ones and we have been very fortunate to have Sterling Standard Care staff.

First I want to say thanks for being a good carer for my son. With the company of this carer, my son gained good confidence in physical activities like climbing and how to play safely. This carer is very supportive. He plays with my son like a child. My son really likes this carer.

Sterling Standard Care Group is a good company that I will recommend anytime any day, They look after my son and I can say that they provide the best care to my son. My son has bonded well with the carers and his spirit is always uplifted with the carer's presence. My son is always in pain because he
has issues with his kidney, the carers are passionate, empathetic and give maximum support to my son. The carer encourages him to take his medication and contact the hospital when the need arises. I am absolutely pleased with the care my son is receiving and my son as well can confirm it. Thank you so much Sterling Standard Care Group.

This is a year's review of service. I would like to share that without my care provider, I would not function! The all-around support helps with my quality of life.
From personal care, meal prep, and house maintenance, to companionship. They help to keep me going, especially when my days or even weeks
are tough.
Moreover, I can reach out to the team at any time and my needs or concerns are dealt with immediately. This is what makes them stand out (a team that listens) being able to see things and put things right or add to your support needs.
So overall, I genuinely think that's a care team that provides a good if not excellent level of care.

I want to say thank you to Sterling Standard Care Group for giving me good carers who care not only for my physical well-being but also for my mental well-being. Their presence lifts my spirits. One carer, in particular, is the best carer, she is my angel. The carers are very supportive.

On the whole my sister and I have had a positive experience with the carers that come and support my dad. The main highlights have been supporting him with food preparation, his exercises and engaging in conversation with him. My dad has dementia so it has been reassuring to have this support in place.
My dad has adapted well to the carers, which is helpful. It is important that an accurate assessment of the visit is recorded. The care supervisor has been really helpful and supportive.

All the carers are very good, efficient and patient. My mom is a very difficult person to deal with, but I haven't seen the carers get impatient or frustrated, this quality is what I appreciate. The coordinators also are very efficient and immediately resolve my problems. Definitely will recommend this
care provider.

The person sent out to care for my mum was completely out of her depth and unable to provide very basic care. It would be disrespectful to carers to give her this title. She was perfectly lovely but inadequate for the task she was sent to do. The agency was aware of the basic job remit and should not
have accepted it. This was a dangerous and unsafe situation for my parent. Disgraceful.

Reply from Michael Akinyemi, Registered Manager at Sterling Standard Care Group

We were commissioned to visit 3 times daily (1hr AM, 30min NOON, 30min PM) on 31st August 2023, on the same day, we contacted your sister who confirmed that she would be able to show our staff around and explained the detail of tasks required prior to the assessment being carried out. Our care staff attended as required and the task was carried out with the support of your sister. The care log explained the details of what was done and the care staff left with an understanding that everyone was happy at the end of the visit. Our care staff is very capable of providing basic care and tasks required (meal and medication) within the stipulated time of 30 minutes when she was with your mother. These tasks were carried out with the support of your sister showing care staff around as this was our first visit to your mum. We are very sorry that you feel she is inadequate for the task she was sent to do but we are not aware of any other tasks beyond these basic tasks which your sister showed our carer.

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.442 for Sterling Standard Care Group is calculated as follows: ( (38 Excellents x 5) + (9 Goods x 4) + (5 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 52 Ratings = 4.442
