Very disappointed in the company, in fact, can be quite angry, sorry. Don't keep to the package set out, in my case important, but ring up does not seem to make any difference. Management seem very nice on phone and they are, but when it comes to sorting out problem nils vill. Very unhappy, very.

I have been trying to get an ongoing complaint sorted for nearly four months now for my mother. The times that she is supposed to have her tea and late-night call are never on time and have caused my mother to fall trying to make her tea as they aren't there to do what they are paid for. A man in the
office who I've spoken to on several occasions has got an appalling attitude and passes the buck, blaming the carers for being late when it's him who gives them the times to visit. In fact tonight they haven't even turned up to do her tea visit and no call to say why. Totally disgusted with the way my mother has had to put up with this care. If it is not resolved and quick I am going to report it to CQC.

Reply from Mark Vermes, Head of Governance at Cera - Halton (Premier Care)

On receipt of this review, our registered manager contacted the reviewer. She is the daughter of one of our clients. The daughter had not previously raised any concerns with the registered manager. The registered manager has promised to monitor the care package. There was a carer who missed a call on Saturday 24th April. The office phoned the mother who confirmed she was fine. This carer has been disciplined appropriately. The registered manager has now apologised to the daughter. The daughter now knows she can raise issues directly with the registered manager. Missed calls are very rare events and our systems are designed to prevent them. We regret that the call was missed on this occasion, but we checked to ensure that no harm was done. The registered manager will also address the issue of the timing of the calls which the daughter has raised.
