AStar Homecare Services is a multi national award winning home care provider covering areas in Shropshire and Cheshire. Rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (November 2019) you can be guaranteed the highest class of care.

AStar Homecare Services provides person centred care and makes a huge difference to individuals' lives, promoting independence, enabling people to stay in their own homes.

As well as providing home care, AStar offers social calls and are fully insured to take individuals out into the community, which has a positive impact on healthier mental health and reduces loneliness and isolation.

AStar hosts a monthly dementia support group. Working alongside the Alzheimer's Society, this group offers support for people living with dementia. Whilst the care givers spend time together in one room offering each other help and support and often have guest speakers, the individuals living with dementia spend time together in another room with some of the AStar team and take part in all kinds of exciting activities.

On top of this, AStar holds regular events, not only for the individuals they support, but for the whole community, such as parties, bingo, coffee mornings and fund raising events.

Extremely professional and friendly service that went above and beyond my needs, as a husband and father of two children we needed help with things that were taken for granted, food and cleaning being the top of my needs and these needs were fulfilled beyond and above.

Astar are the best and only care company I would want to have! They give me a tailored to my needs support package and all the staff, carers, managers etc are very professional and caring. They go above and beyond when it comes to my care.
My frequent carer is superb and has been supporting me through
my cancer diagnosis this year as well as my mental health care for a few years. She's been my rock and does absolutely anything I need. I would not be coping with my cancer at all if it wasn't for Astar. They deserve any award nominations. A++++++++.

My mum has told me that the carers generally come on time and that the staff are good-humoured, polite, kind and will do any job that she asks them to do. My mum says that most of the carers will go well beyond their call of duty e.g. one member of staff in particular will drop items at a charity shop
on her way. My mum looks forward to the carers coming every day.
Personally, I am always impressed by how smart and alert the carers are and how well they keep an eye out for health and well-being problems.

Rota, sometimes irregular delivery.
Washing up, sometimes leaves, cleanliness not the best.
Timekeeping, generally very good.
In general, nothing is too much trouble for the carers.
At the moment, the management is slightly changing so we will see.

The weekly rota we deliver to you is done so by our team in-between care calls and therefore, at times can be slightly late, we apologise for this but always endeavor to have them delivered to you as soon as possible. Washing up may be done once personal care has been completed, we are aware that this is not always possible due to time constraints.
