Vitality always so respectful to my mother's needs. My mother always felt safe and cared for, even when Mum passed away was so kind.

I am the daughter of a service user. I deal with all aspects of my mother's care and support and encourage her to fully participate in her care needs.
All of the carers are friendly and respectful in the support they give to my mother. Given the time restraints on time for care and my mother's "I'll
do it in my own time" it is easy for the carers to do the tasks for her, and she will let them if she can.
The company lets me know if there are any major problems and if they are able to deal with them competently.

Carers from Vitality are really lovely people and my dad is really happy with the service and company they provide. The office keeps us up-to-date with any issues or changes. We are all really happy with the service and it gives us peace of mind to know that someone is seeing our dad every day when
we can't be there.

Overall my father receives a good service especially if the same carer comes every week, if it differs it confuses him and he tends to continue with the confusion for the next few days. The regular carer that cares for my dad is kind, helpful and efficient, my dad likes her very much as I do.

Sadly, at times of sickness or more recently Jury Service we have no option but to support Dad with another staff member, which we understand can cause issues. My mum has been very happy with the care received from Vitality. The carers are friendly and helpful and have gone beyond simply providing basic care needs by looking at my mum's weight loss and mobility issues and getting advice from a qualified GP.

My dad's health has been failing for some time now and Vitality have provided help getting him showered and dressed in the mornings. Recently he became much weaker and required a lot more help and Vitality have been absolutely brilliant - providing a waking carer overnight and two carers coming four
times a day to change him etc - at less than a day's notice. The carers we have are wonderful, they are lovely with my dad, and are also giving my mum massive support. We have a laugh with them and they go over and above to make sure we are being looked after. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

All staff at Vitality are amazing, they helped us get our grandad home from hospital so that he could pass away peacefully at home, where he wanted to be. They treated him with so much love, care, respect and dignity when they came to care for him. We couldn't have found a better care agency. They are
100% the best and we can't ever thank them enough for the care and support they gave to our grandad and us.

Carey Laughland

Job Title: Care Manager.

Carey has worked in health care for 12 years. During this time, she discovered a passion for dementia care and worked her way up from Health Care Assistant to Deputy Manager. She completed her Level 5 Health and Social care qualification and then furthered her specialist dementia work by completing her Master's in Dementia at the University of Hull. She is very keen that anyone living with dementia does just that, live. She will be working closely with our dementia clients and staff, completing Bradford Mapping and The Pool Activity Tool to help develop a holistic and stimulating package of care for these client groups. Prior to moving into the Health Care Sector Carey had 20 years of Management experience within the Civil Service. She is a lateral thinker who works well with clients, staff and partner agencies.
