The people who came to me were very friendly and easy to talk to and very caring. In the early stages they came when I returned from hospital following an operation and helped with all aspects of daily life. They assisted with my physiotherapy and I looked forward to seeing the carer each day.

Since we chose Guardian Angels they have been extremely supportive, respectful, and willing to adapt to the changing needs of not only my mother but her husband who has Alzheimer's. My mother has not had any unhelpful friendly staff and always treats her with dignity being 88. Highly recommend

Since we first called Guardian Angels Spelthorne they were happy to come out to register on a Sunday when it suited us. The registration process was thorough. We then started to use them within days. All staff has been friendly good timekeeping reliable and we have had punctual feedback where needed.

My 97-year-old Mother was independent and private. In the beginning, we thought there would be a problem however she was looked after by two ladies. She used to call them 'the grandchildren she never had'. One, on her mobile, looked up songs and they would then sing together. Also, where she wanted
to go on holiday, they again would visit places. The other would go on her lunch break with food /treats she would never have dreamt of eating, she loved it. Six weeks before she passed away, a male carer joined, she flirted and fell in love with him, four days before she died he brought his guitar in and they sang and as she was so weak, he held the guitar for her and showed her how to play it, was lovely to see her so happy. She told me two days before she died 'I am totally happy and contented with my lot, I am/was so well looked after, I feel very special and loved by everyone'. The level of her care by 'The whole team' was outstanding and made her last five months bearable.

The carers are always very polite, friendly and upbeat, and know-how to get the best out of Mum in the mornings when she’s not at her best and struggling to get herself together due to her Alzheimer’s.

Thank you for your review - We hope to be able to continue to make a positive impact with mum.

Guardian Angels have provided an efficient, caring and flexible care package for my mum who has advanced frontotemporal dementia. As a daughter who has my own health problems, living with and providing the majority of mum’s care, I needed reliable daily support with personal care for mum and breaks
for me. I wasn’t looking for someone to swoop in and change everything as mum has had dementia for a long time, and we have a long-standing routine for her care. From the outset, Guardian Angels and the senior team, in particular, impressed me by listening to our needs and provided well organised, professional, flexible and most importantly incredibly kind care. Carer visits have been adapted, and the carer team have worked very hard not just to assist mum with her everyday life, but to support and re-assure me when difficulties have occurred, and these have been dealt with in a kind, considerate and dignified way. Guardian Angels have helped considerably in keeping mum at home over the last year.

The carers will often go the extra mile for my parents who are in their 90's. During the isolation, they even offer to do things on their day off for them. As most of the family are many miles away, it's very reassuring during this isolation from my parents, to know that they are being looked after
and visited twice a day to check on their welfare. The carers are always willing and cheerfully carry out anything asked of them. True Angels.

I am so happy with the care they provide for my mother. When I first went to meet them their ethos was to treat their client's in the same way as they would treat their own family and they have truly lived up to this, they go the extra mile to keep her happy. One thing I really like is the time they
allow to interact and talk to mum putting her needs first.
They keep me informed of any needs she may have whether it is medication or food that she says she may like.

The director of Guardian Angels Spelthorne first came into our lives Christmas 2018.
Since then she has been an undeniable asset to our family. We have seen her build a team of excellent carers and her girls tend to have that something extra that I cannot put my finger on and as a result, mum is extremely
responsive to them. I do not think I have ever seen a carer not have a smile on their face and they always have a can do attitude. I think if I had to find the answer it is that they treat my mum as their nan and not just another 'client'.

The only reason I would not recommend them is that I am too frightened of how their popularity is growing and losing this fantastic company due to supply and demand.

Guardian Angels started looking after my parents on April 22nd 2019. They are a lovely team, very proactive and helpful, kind and caring (so different than the last carers we used). Always ready to discuss and listen to concerns and suggestions and this works both ways. Extremely happy with the service
provided by them.

As a child, I was fortunate enough to grow up with my grandparents having an active role in my childhood. I have fond memories of my grandmother collecting me from school, and many a summer's days with my grandfather helping him with the gardening and in his workshop. Having reached their 90th milestones I can see how it is now my role to give back to them all the love, care and support they gave to me all those years ago.

I admire our elderly community for their bravery and commitment, and strongly believe it is my duty to support them in their time of need; for we wouldn’t be where we are today without them. I, like many others, didn’t leave school with my career path set out in the care industry, but looking back I can’t believe I had never considered it. I feel very lucky to be able to combine a career with my passion for spending time with people and improving their quality of life.

This is echoed in the ethos of Guardian Angel Carers, which is why I wouldn’t have chosen any other company. Our unique, personal and exemplary service is exactly what our loved ones deserve. And together with friends, family and other healthcare professionals, it is our goal to support those in need of a helping hand to live independently at home.

I like care because of the development and growth that can be achieved; there are always new things to learn. I am currently on my two-year pathway to becoming Registered Manager which will give me valuable experience, knowledge and understanding of the care needs in my community.
