The Review Score of 9.9 (9.881) out of 10 for Senior Moments Care is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.
a) The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 9 Reviews in the last 24 months.
b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.
The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:
a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.
The Average Rating of 4.981 for Senior Moments Care is calculated as follows: ( (51 Excellents x 5) + (1 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 52 Ratings = 4.981
b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').
The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)
The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Senior Moments Care is based on 9 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 4.9
When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

My name is Fatima and I did my degree in advanced biomedical science.
I joined Care because it was the best option according to my circumstances and managing my degree and finances at the same time. But unexpectedly, I fell in love with my job and everything I do for the lovely people around me. I have found unmatchable peace in what I do and I don’t see myself leaving care ever.

I first started my career at the age of 18 in 1981!
I left college on a Friday to start working with people with disabilities on the Monday. Over the years I have continued to work in various types of care homes, social services for the Elderly and for the NHS.
From the age of 5, I have always wanted to look after people. As you will imagine I have worked for many companies over 39 years, but I have finally found a company in Senior Moments that believes in the same things I do. They don’t make excuses for things they just get them done with the utmost dignity and respect for clients wishes, they also have a very supportive team including all the management (don’t often get to say that!) Thank you for letting me be part of something very special.

Hi, I’m Alexandra, but call me Alex. I’m a retired nurse with experience in hospital care, nursing homes and education. I have also spent some time as a discharge co-ordinator, an NVQ Co-Ordinator, a Learning and Development Manager and an NHS 111 call adviser.
I assist the senior team at Senior Moments Care with teaching training and clinical issues as requested. I support individuals progressing through qualifications, train groups of new starters in mandatory subjects such as Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and run support sessions for team members.
I am excited to help colleagues progress within their roles and give the absolute best standard of care to our family members.
I am also kept busy with my border collie Milo who is hilarious and stares at me until I take him to the beach and my fairly new Grandson who I watch Paddington Bear with and have lots of cuddles.
