As Managing Director, Tom is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the service, focusing specifically on client satisfaction and maintaining high standards of service delivery. Tom ensures that West Park Care achieves its aims and objectives to deliver excellent care to its clients and stops at nothing to guarantee client satisfaction. Tom lives in Harrogate and is always available to discuss any aspect of care delivery.
Tom has personally felt the difficulty of organising care for a loved one and felt the process should be easier and also tailored to each individual person. Tom has a deep-rooted belief that people should be able to remain in their own homes as long as possible and receive a high level of care and support.

As Head of Service Kirsty is responsible for continually improving the quality of our care delivery and ensuring that we are fully compliant as a service.
Kirsty oversees West Park Cares’ daily operations to ensure our care delivery is of the highest standards and carries out regular audits on the service to ensure all quality standards are being met. Kirsty implements new policies and processes to further develop our service delivery.
Kirsty started her career in care and support at the age of 17 as a care and support worker and at age 21 she went to university and studied for a BA hon’s in Social Work, qualifying as a Social Worker in 2010. Kirsty has worked with adults with a variety of different health and social care needs, including learning disabilities, mental health, physical disability, cognitive impairments, sensory needs and complex health in various areas.
Before joining West Park Care, Kirsty was a social worker for nine years and then progressed into an advisory role as a Safeguarding Officer for NYCC. Kirsty uses her in-depth knowledge of safeguarding to ensure West Park Care is operating safely and responsively.

As Service Manager, Jackie is responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, managing the office and care team. Jackie is a key member of the management team ensuring that the service is both compliant and delivering the high levels of care our clients expect.
Jackie plays a key role in the recruitment, induction and ongoing training of the staff team and has oversight on key aspects of the service such as medication, staffing levels and compliance.
Jackie started her career in Health and Social Care in the mid-1980s and gained a wealth of experience in supporting the health and well-being of a variety of client groups.
Jackie has achieved many certificates including her teaching qualifications and her level 5 in Leadership and Management. Before joining West Park Care, Jackie was a trainer in Health and Social care and for the last three years, Jackie has been a Service Manager at a care home.
Jackie has a real passion for person-centred care and support, ensuring all clients are treated as individuals.

As Business Development Manager, Joanna deals with incoming enquiries and conducts initial client assessments. Joanna has a key focus on client satisfaction and is also heavily involved in the safer recruitment of care staff.
Joanna has a particular focus on new and existing client management from initial assessments to the initial review and updated assessments and is a key member of the management team. Joanna has previously worked as a care assessor and really understands the key information that needs to be gathered during the initial assessment to put together a care plan specific to each client. Joanna also manages our rota to ensure care is delivered smoothly to all of our clients. Joanna has worked in various client-facing roles in the healthcare sector gaining valuable experience in customer service and a clear understanding of delivering care to a high standard.
Joanna has also worked in quality assurance roles and this understanding of the detail required to deliver excellent care is invaluable to her role as Business Development Manager.

Michell joined West Park Care, after moving to the UK from South Africa, in July 2020.
Michell was a Real Estate Agent in South Africa. She had some care experience assisting both her elderly mother-in-law and volunteering in care homes.
Michell immediately hit the ground running delivering outstanding care to our clients as a Care Expert initially.
After obtaining all the necessary care qualifications and gaining experience, she was promoted to Care Leader and then Care Supervisor. Michell completed her Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care and will commence her Level 5 in 2023.
Michell ensures that all client and staff paperwork is up to date; supervises staff in the field to ensure our high standards are always upheld and manages the internal training program. Michell takes the lead in first client visits to ensure that, following the initial assessment, the correct care plan is in place.
Michell has a passion for high-quality care and client satisfaction and enjoys interaction with all her clients, their families and all the West Park Care Staff.

As Care Supervisor, Gemma focuses closely on client-specific needs and the level of support required by frequently reviewing care packages and monitoring care calls.
She Gemma makes sure all client and staff paperwork is up to date and supervises staff in the field to ensure our high standards are upheld. Gemma takes the lead on first client visits to ensure the correct care plan is in place following the initial assessment. She joined West Park Care in January 2020 and quickly became a key member of our Care Expert team before progressing to her role as Care Supervisor. Gemma gained her Level 3 in Health & Social care whilst working for WPC & also has a BSc(Hons) in Psychology & Counselling. She has a real passion for delivering a high standard of person-centred care and wants to enable our clients to remain independent in their own homes.

Louise joined West Park Care in August 2021, as a Care Expert and very quickly proved her worth as an integral part of our support team. She is extremely hard-working and provides an excellent standard of care to our vulnerable clients. Louise has a background in Food and Catering for over 20 years, but after caring and supporting her partner for many years, she decided a career in care was for her.
Louise has just achieved her Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care and has a passion for high-quality care and client satisfaction.

Joanne joined West Park Care in September 2022 and it was very clear that she had a real skill for dealing with clients and their needs in the community. She had previously completed a Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Work and coupled with her years of experience in the sector makes her a real asset to West Park Care. Joanne prides herself on enhancing the lives of the clients she supports. Joanne is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care to our clients by checking that her team of Care Experts are up to date with all their training and competencies. She also oversees the Care Plans for a group of our clients.

Joanne has a great mix of skills from the social care sector having worked in various roles such as support worker, quality assurance and customer relations in both the private and public sectors. Joanne is very professional and brings a high level of experience to the administrative side of home care.
Joanne has completed both her Level 3 & Level 5 in Health 7 Social Care and is continually improving her skill set within her role.
Joanna has a real passion for making sure West Park Care clients receive the very highest quality of care in their own homes.

Josephine, affectionately known as Josie, had her first taste of adult social care when completing work experience in a nursing home, at the age of 15. She knew then from seeing how the staff supported the residents in such a caring way, that she wanted to join the care industry with the same passion. After finishing school, Josie worked in a nursing home as a cleaner, whilst completing an Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care. On completion of this qualification, Josie worked in various roles in both residential care homes and in-home care, supporting vulnerable adults. In December 2019, whilst working with the NHS as a Trainee Nursing Associate/Care Support Worker, Josie had the opportunity to gain a Level 4 in Health Nursing Science. The experience she gained there was invaluable.
We were naturally thrilled when Josie joined our team in October 2023. In her role as Care Supervisor, Josie will continue to support our vulnerable clients with the same dignity and compassion as she first envisioned, whilst developing the skills of our field staff.

Having initially qualified as a gemologist, Adam realised he was committed to helping others. He thus pursued a career in supporting vulnerable adults.
Adam has experience in all aspects of Adult Social Care, having previously worked as a support worker; agency worker; care co-ordinator; mental health recovery worker; team leader and service manager.
While working, Adam continued his studies and completed an NVQ 5 In Leadership and Management.
West Park Care was delighted when Adam joined our team as a Care Expert in August 2023. In October 2023, as a result of Adam’s experience, skill and the way in which he supports his clients in a person-centred way, he was promoted to the role of Care Supervisor. In this role, he will continue using his knowledge to both improve the lives of our vulnerable clients and support the training and development of our field staff.
