The care that is given to my sister is excellent.
When she is showered they treat her with respect and dignity and enjoys the conversations while being showered. All staff are friendly and reliable.
She really enjoys the company of the carer when she goes out on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturdays.

I rely on Bluebird care Pontypool and Ebbw Vale to help assist my mother in her day-to-day life following a stroke. Her aphasia means she is unable to speak, so communication back and forth to the girls who provide the care and their management is essential and the ease in which it is done is exemplary.
They often are met with challenges to mums care which include changes/problems with medication etc - to which they deal with promptly and professionally. They allow me to live my life or work as normally as possible whilst still being lasting power of attorney for my mother, these past 5/6 years.

Bluebird Care Pontypool have provided outstanding carers for the last 7 months for my mum and kept her safe and well at home for as long as possible. They were always on time, very smart and professional. They were very knowledgeable when it came to understanding dementia. All the members of our family
that came in contact with them noted their compassion and respect in maintaining her dignity when providing care for her. The communication with the supervisor and office staff was first class.

The care I received at the beginning of April for most of the month with my regular carer is second to none, but at end of the month, she went off and I had cover. Oh my God, what a shambles; never knowing who was coming one day to the next or even one shift to the next, never knowing what to do, arriving
late or early for lunch. So happy for the regular carer to be back.

I find Bluebird to be an excellent service, the aspect I am always impressed with besides the first-class personal care is the social interaction between my wife and the carers, which in the present circumstances with little outside human contact (apart from staring at my ugly mug all day) is a real
boost to someone with mental health issues. Also, I find the management friendly and approachable. In all honesty, a service to be strongly recommended.

Dad's care has been excellent. He was apprehensive at first, but pleasantly surprised by the friendly and understanding attitude of the Bluebird staff, and now has a good rapport with all the careers who visit him, and looks forward to their company and support each morning. Since the start of his care
with Bluebird, we have seen a massive improvement in his general health and well-being, as their care allows him to wash, dress and begin each day with a positive routine. Can’t praise them enough.

Living abroad, it is a comfort to know that the Bluebird Girls (as we call them!) are there for my mother. I’ve found them to be very helpful and efficient and, importantly, easy to contact even from overseas. They are flexible too, happy to cancel their visits for a week whenever I’m over visiting
my mother, to let us make the most of our time together. It’s always possible to discuss on the telephone any concerns or issues which might arise for my mother, so I’ve never felt ‘out of the loop’. In the present lockdown crisis, unable to visit, it helps to know these kindly ladies are there.

I find being a service user eased by the care and compassion that the Bluebird care providers give, so helpful. Having to be dependant on others when you are 51-yrs-old and normally very independent is not too bad now as they are lovely people to chat with too.
The fact that they come twice a day which
has helped ease the difficulties I have now with my disabilities, personal care is great, hair washing, showering, dressing assistance and help with food preparation.
I would be very happy to recommend them for home care in the future.
Also in this current time of Lockdown like many people would not have anyone else visit other than Bluebird.

The manager and her team have made a huge difference to my Mother’s life. My Mother was very reticent about having carers when she came out of hospital to return home. As daughters we live a long way away, go regularly but care was needed daily. The carers have built up lovely, trusting relationships
and are a lifeline to Mum, even more so during the C19 lockdown. The manager has adapted the care needed from doing more and organising a hairdresser as Mum cannot wash her hair. I am sent weekly photos, which is lovely as it is the only time I get to see Mum as she does not do video call etc.
Bluebird Care are brilliant for Mum, mentally as well as physically, she could not manage without them. I would recommend them, without reservation to anyone.

I live in Canada and have only met my parents Bluebird carers occasionally when I visit them in Wales. Those I have met seemed very pleasant and helpful. They are very reliable and it's wonderful to know my parents are well looked after. Whenever I have phoned or emailed Bluebird myself they are
extremely efficient and I've been very happy with their service.
