Funding & Fees Guide for Care & Carers

  • Prices

  • 1. Daily visit: Fees for basic care typically range from £27.50 to £33.50 per hour.
    2. Live-in care: Fees for live-in care typically range from £1600.00 per week.

  • 1. Daily visit: This level of service includes assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene, as well as light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship and medication reminders. Fees for basic care typically range from £27.50 to £33.50 per hour.
    2. Live-in care: This level of service includes round-the-clock care from a carer who lives in the client's home. Fees for live-in care typically range from £1600.00 per week.
    3. Night care: This level of care provides overnight support to individuals who require assistance with activities of daily living or medical supervision. Overall, night sleep-in care can provide peace of mind and improve the quality of life for both the client and their family. I have been very satisfied with the care I have received from all the carers I have had. It is appreciated help with shopping, ironing, light cleaning and sorting out. Their cheerful and happy disposition is very helpful and I always feel better after their visit.

Care & Carers are magic, they are professional, caring and totally reliable. Mum loves them, they chat to her, their personal care for her is super respectful and thorough; they really do go the extra mile. I can go away knowing she is in good hands. I would recommend them to anyone, they are now part
of our family with two of her regular carers attending my daughters wedding to care for mum, bringing her in a wheelchair cab and taking her home again. They have cared for her for four years now, I have never needed to complain once.

The carers are compassionate, caring and helpful. They try their best to be punctual but due to the travel conditions this is not always possible for them to achieve and we know they do their best.

Carers supplied are well trained, punctual and efficient. It has been helpful to keep the same carer as client has to be got up. It would be helpful to have a phone number for your carer as with dementia things change constantly. Care reviews are done regularly which is helpful. I was not introduced
to the app at the start but have found this invaluable. Overall, an efficient, kind and caring organisation.

I am over 90 years of age and the fact that I am recovering from a recent illness., including hospital stays, is in no small way due to the attention and encouragement I received from Care & Carers staff. It is reassuring that I know they will be there at the agreed time in the morning. They encourage
me to do more things for myself but are always close at hand to help. I have never once felt embarrassed at being tended by a young man or woman, they all have a thoroughly professional approach. I am now able to tackle stairs on my own and look forward to the cup of Earl Grey that awaits! Finally, I am asked every morning 'Is there anything else I can do for you'. Thank you carers.

Care and Carers supported my father for over 2 years as his health became more frail and he needed more and more support to live independently in his own home. They we very caring, understanding, flexible, and responsive; always trying to find the best way to support Dad's changing needs, even at short
notice, out of hours, and in emergencies. Dad enjoyed the relationships he built with the staff over time and many of them came to be important supports, company, and friendships for him. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Care and Carers to anyone who is looking for home care for an elderly relative.

Having used Care & Carers for the first time, over a long weekend, we were over the moon with the dedication of the entire team. From one member of staff listening to our needs to a member of staff in particular who did all the visits. She even went out of her way to give possibly better care than a
family member would. It's been a relief to find a company that does what they advertise in such a great way. As a carer to my wife, I feel confident in asking for help again when I need respite. Thank you Care & Carers for a brilliant job.

I always feel my parents are in great hands with the Care and Carers team and their welfare is the number one priority.
All of the team have formed a friendly, trusted, and supportive relationship which is highly valued by all of our family.
In the last month, there have been many occasions where
Mum or Dad have needed emergency care. On each occasion, the Care and Carers team provided additional support in these difficult situations.

Our experience of Care and Carers during the final weeks of Mum’s life was amazing. We had a live-in carer, supported a few times a day by various colleagues, and everyone was amazing. They made what was a very challenging time so much easier for us and for Mum and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

After having a shoulder replacement I needed help daily to get washed and dressed, the girls who visited me were a great help, kind, caring and I enjoyed having them to talk to. They put me totally at ease and helped with my recovery. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends who may need

Care & Carers provided care for both my parents. In early January my mother had a stroke and required daily hospital visits. During this period, the company immediately instigated companionship visits for my father so that he would not be alone for long periods, as he is bedbound. Sadly Mother did not
recover from her stroke and died at home on February 9th. During her final end-of-life days, Care & Carers provided her final days of care in a deeply compassionate manner, and have been a great source of comfort for us both. They have also put in place, together with Occupational Therapy, extra exercise sessions to help enable Dad to attend her funeral. Their service has been impeccable during this hard time.

We used Care & Carers to help look after our elderly father at home (he was on his own, suffering from Alzheimer's). Their carers called in two or three times a day over a period of seven months, making him meals, administering medication and keeping him company. Without exception, the care staff were
punctual, kind and diligent. The management at Care & Carers was always fast to respond and find a solution, often at short notice. We can't recommend Care & Carers enough.

Care and carers was so wonderful. My mother needed surgery and was told reablement would support her but only in the evening and morning. As she therefore needed support for domestic tasks and help preparing her meals we sort Care and Carers help. They took great care of her and allowed the family to
not be pressured by taking time off work. Reablement was never organised so we were so fortunate to have their help. The carers that cared for her were all so lovely and knew exactly what they needed to do to help assist her in her recovery and support her to be independent. Thanks to them she was up and walking within 2 weeks. When we decided more support was required they did all they could to ensure they met the requests.

We started using Care & Carers in June this year. The level of service and attention to detail is very impressive and comforting. Without exception, every member of staff that we have encountered have been fantastic. The office staff and management really do pay attention to detail, and the carers really
do care. We were with a different care provider for a number of years before we employed Care & Carers. I wish we had come across them a lot sooner. We have only been with them for a short period of time, but so far they have been exceptional.

My mother, who has Alzheimer's, was discharged from hospital two days before Christmas, having spent four weeks there recovering from a fractured hip. The hospital was struggling to put together a care package, given the time of the year and the latest Covid-19 wave of infections and the need for many
care workers to isolate. Care & Carers stepped up and have been providing live-in care for the last eight weeks, never letting us down despite the stretch they were under. Their care staff and management have demonstrated a very high level of professional commitment, with a wonderful personal touch. They have supported us in negotiating the continuing health care assessment process and gone the extra mile in helping us select the right carers and planning for the longer term. I and the wider family are very grateful to the whole team who are a credit to the resilience and dedication of the profession.

My father has received daily care from Care & Carers since September 2021. Each carer who has attended to my father has been kind, caring, helpful and considerate and my father enjoys their daily visit.
The company is very accommodating to ensure my father's needs are met. The online management system
and app are a great help in ensuring that I know what has taken place at each service visit.
The manager and his team have always been very helpful and they communicate well with the family at all times.
I highly recommend Care & Carers to anyone who requires care for an elderly relative.
