Funding & Fees Guide for Care & Carers

  • Prices

  • 1. Daily visit: Fees for basic care typically range from £27.50 to £33.50 per hour.
    2. Live-in care: Fees for live-in care typically range from £1600.00 per week.

  • 1. Daily visit: This level of service includes assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene, as well as light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship and medication reminders. Fees for basic care typically range from £27.50 to £33.50 per hour.
    2. Live-in care: This level of service includes round-the-clock care from a carer who lives in the client's home. Fees for live-in care typically range from £1600.00 per week.
    3. Night care: This level of care provides overnight support to individuals who require assistance with activities of daily living or medical supervision. Overall, night sleep-in care can provide peace of mind and improve the quality of life for both the client and their family. The Care & Carers team from Aylesbury have been looking after my mother in her home for the past fifteen months, through the worst that the Covid pandemic has had to offer. Mum has age-related dementia and has become increasingly immobile through this period. The Care & Carers team never dropped the
ball, making sure Mum was looked after with great consideration, dignity, care and love. It was a great comfort to know that she was in good hands; whenever I visited her, the home was clean and tidy, and Mum was always happy. Communication with both the care staff and the management has always been excellent, facilitated by the online communication tool that they have pioneered. In short, I cannot recommend Care & Carers highly enough. In-home care provision is hugely important but an inordinately difficult job. I thank the manager and his team from the bottom of my heart for their efforts in the past, and for striving diligently for continual improvements in what they offer.

In our experience Care and Carers has provided a very cheerful, helpful and efficient care package and do everything we could hope for with regard to the benefit of my 103-year-old mother. She is delighted with the carers, who visit thrice daily, with their warmth and kindness. No hesitation in recommending

Would not hesitate to recommend this company. We have had nothing but exemplary care for my father. They are a team and it shows. The staff are happy, they support each other and always go the extra mile. Communication with me, the rest of the family and between all the carers is outstanding. Nothing
is too much trouble. They treat my parents with the utmost respect, gentleness and understanding, just as you would yourself. I don’t live close by and I have one hundred percent confidence.

Care & Carers have been providing support for my dad since March 2019 and they have been excellent. We initially had another care provider that was awful and very quickly changed providers. Care & Carers are very responsive, listen to any concerns and implement changes very quickly. What particularly
impressed me is that if a new carer starts, they are given sufficient training before they are left alone, which certainly was not the case with the previous provider.

I needed temporary help while recovering from a fall and fractured arm and found the service to be very good, both from a management point of view and the carers. Some were more experienced than others, but all were very willing to do what I asked, were efficient, very polite and were a great help to
me. What particularly impressed me was the 'bon ami' amongst the carers who helped and supported each other. I would certainly recommend this company and, in fact, I already have!

My mum was cared for by Care & Carers for 6 months and I have to say it was a brilliant service. The carers were all very pleasant, friendly and professional. They treated Mum with the utmost respect and consideration. I am full of admiration for everyone who came to the house, their reports were clear
and concise after each visit. Mum enjoyed the contact and interaction and it took a great weight off my mind to know that she was eating properly and kept clean and tidy.

I cannot rate all of the staff highly enough. I feel very fortunate to have found this care company. I am confident that Mum is being very well cared for. Mum has breakfast, lunch and tea time visits plus a weekly clean.

I am extremely impressed with this company. I needed a special standard of care for my husband as he was always dressed well, clean and tidy. I have found the admin staff very understanding and experienced with the amount of care we needed, started off before this virus and quickly realised we needed
more care. The ladies that come to us are a great help, my husband is cared for with dignity and my welfare is taken into account too, nothing is ever too much, I look forward to the ladies coming in during this period of lock-in. I get a chance to tell what has happened overnight and don’t have to bottle it up.

Having had experience of other care companies in the past I had an idea of the service level that my aunt was likely to get. However, since we have engaged with Care & Carers I have been absolutely blown away by their professionalism, their warm manner, their attention to detail (planning and delivering
services) and flagging anything that I should be aware of. On top of which, when I have needed help on an immediate basis they have gone above and beyond. I cannot rate this company highly enough. The managers and the team of carers who looked after my mum for a 2-month period from December 2018 to January 2019 were exceptional in their duty of care and providing a personalised service for her needs.
They were
- flexible (variable service times on differing days, different task requirements
by day, different personnel needed for different tasks),
- adaptable (they cooked her some foods that she wanted!)
- supportive in spite of language barriers and
- kept me informed by text and email


They also suggested additional technological solutions that would aid the support for my mother.
I and my mother are indebted to them.
