Eaton Home Care is a dedicated, Nurse-Led private care-at-home provider, offering a range of round-the-clock, tailored services for adults. The services include visiting care (from just 30 minutes), 24-hour live-in support, overnight visits, and companionship care.

Eaton covers East Cambridgeshire, Cambridge City, South Cambridgeshire, and North Hertfordshire.

Eaton recognises a need for a service that is tailored completely around the individual, providing care which supports them at home. After all, freedom and self-sufficiency are crucial parts of maintaining mental and emotional health in older people and remaining at home allows clients to retain their independence.

My dad wanted to stay at home and the professional Eaton Homecare staff together with my brother, who lived with Dad, made this possible. The Eaton carers attended to my dad's practical and medical needs three times a day; they were excellent, got to know my dad, swapped stories with him and encouraged
him to be as independent as possible. The team were always friendly and communicated well with the family. We couldn't have asked for better care. Thank you, Eaton.

My mother's care was under NHS rehab and whilst there were 1 or 2 carers who delivered this, the majority did not seem to know what they were there for. The programme was disorganised and the office never answered the phone or returned calls. Very poor.

Firstly, we thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. The support your mother received was via the NHS funded service operated by Cambridge Home Care, a separate division to Eaton Homecare, however Eaton care workers will assist to cover staff absences.


During the period of your mother’s support there was an increased level of staff sickness, and we apologise that this impacted on the support and service being provided.


Cambridge Homecare, which is the NHS funded division regularly receives very positive feedback about the standard of care delivery and we sincerely apologise that on this occasion it fell short. Thank you for taking the time to talk to us regarding this matter.

When my 86-year-old mum came out of hospital, Eaton Homecare provided an NHS-funded care package to ease her back into home life. Following the end of the care package, we were fortunate enough to keep Eaton carers on to provide a visit each evening to help Mum get ready for bed. Several months on,
Eaton carers continue to provide excellent care and friendship to my mum and this has helped her to regain much of the confidence she had lost during her hospital stay. Thanks to all at Eaton Homecare for their ongoing help and support.

Eaton Homecare looked after my mum when she came out of hospital. They did such a great job we arranged our own care package directly and have never looked back. The staff are well trained, caring, and considerate, they go above and beyond to make sure that my mum is happy and reassured. Nothing is
too much trouble from changing a torch battery to reporting that the phone line is out. They have helped when a medical crisis occurs and always keep me in the loop with any emergencies. I have met the carers and they are the nicest people, professional and fun. I heartily recommend their service. Thank you for looking after my mum, every day.

My 97-year-old mum lives on her own and started to use Eaton Homecare for a couple of days a week and has now extended to 7 days a week. She is really happy with the care provided as it allows her to continue to live at home. The carers also help her get in and out of the shower and prepare food and
wash up. They also reassure me that she is okay and gives me peace of mind. Thank you for all that you do for her.

My 89-year-old mother was recently discharged from the hospital and required live-in care. I contacted a number of agencies that wasted large amounts of my time and came up with completely unsuitable candidates. Eaton Homecare saved me. They were super-fast and efficient and found me a wonderful carer.
Every member of staff was thoughtful and efficient. They really did save me. I can't express how grateful I am. I recommend them unreservedly. They are the real deal and will make your life so much easier. Thank you for everything that you have done.

I have been having carers looking after me for five months now following a fall and breaking my hip. And the carers I have had during that time have been wonderful and made it possible for me to stay in my own home. I am now 92 and I look forward to seeing the carers every day.

Very efficient service and professional, friendly staff. Sometimes difficult to keep track of which carer is coming and at what time. All my 4 carers are extremely good although sometimes the company organisation is not so good. However, this has improved. Phone contact from carers is now also better.

Caroline has been a qualified Nurse since 2001 and has gained a wealth of experience across the NHS and private sectors working in both clinical and managerial roles.
